I got three wisdom teeth extracted, and it was a painless experience!! He explained everything to me. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs dental work done. BEST Oral surgeon i know!!! Calm, cool, collected, funny, caring, my son was freaking out in the chair and he got him to laugh and calmed him down. He was super efficient taking out 4 teeth with no pain at all.... this is the guy u want, when you need complex work done in your mouth, and your anxious about it. I myself had 2 wisdom teeth removed, he did it so fast and smooth like slight of hand fast, one second I'm sitting in the chair getting ready the next thing I know I'm shaking his hand saying good bye and it's all over and done PAIN FREE. I had my top left wisdom tooth pulled and a coronectomy done on my bottom left wisdom tooth, due to the unfortunate fact that it was sitting on a nerve. Here’s my story, my upper left wisdom tooth began to act up. The result was lots of pain in the gum and on the nerve. My general dentist advised me to have the tooth pulled to eliminate present and future pain. Dr Hertz came highly recommended and today my tooth was pulled. Dr Hertz and his Wife are a wonderful team. I was nervous about the procedure at first and they made feel at ease. The Dr is very professional, caring, and super knowledgeable about oral surgery. I had a ton of questions and the Dr answered everyone despite having other patients waiting. The office is state of the art with the latest equipment. They took a complete pano x-Ray of my jaw and teeth so the Dr could completely see the issue and extract the tooth as pain free as possible by seeing how my tooth had grown in. I had a tooth pulled by Dr Hertz yesterday. I received 5 star treatment and experienced no pain. The office is state of the art and the Dr has the most wonderful bedside manner resulting in the best possible experience. The Dr performs a thorough check of your mouth via high tech x-Ray before any extraction is performed. Highly recommended.

He’s extremely gentle. He lets you know beforehand what he’ll be doing. And most of all he’s kind and has excellent bedside manners.

Appt time is just a number. Make sure you are free to wait for hours.

My daughter had four of the wisdom teeth remove from doctor Heartz it was painless and fast . He definitely is an excellent doctor I would highly recommend. He is a master in his job . Great job!!!

For those looking for a oral surgeon Marc Hertz is it. I am going to tell you why. I have had this issue with my ear infections that kept coming back and this has been going on for almost 6 months. My ENT doctor couldn't figure out what it was I had to go through MRI's and an allergy tests and a hearing test. Then they came back and told me that it looks like you have TMJ. I'm like what!? How can this be? They kept telling me oh it sometimes come with age? (SMH) It got to the point my ENT doctor said I can't do anything more for you because he doesn't deal with jaw issues. At this point frustration was out the door! He told me to go back to my dentist or see an oral surgeon. So I had to call my insurance and they gave me a list of names. This is where Marc B. Hertz came into the picture. What I did first I googled him! Lol I wanted to view his reviews to see what I will be dealing with next. I decided to make an appointment because my gum area and my molars were so super sensitive and I was already having abscess on my molars. Yes I googled that too and it turns out I want to fix this asap. I made an appointment with Mr. Hertz and I have to say my first visit was very pleasant. I saw that Mr. Hertz was very busy so I waited till it was my turn. As soon as I went in the room he was so nice w/ smiles to greet me. I know that he saw fear and frustration on my face. I continued to tell him my issue, to make a long story short this visit of course was just to check my situation, it wasn't my actual appointment. After telling him we proceeded to get a full mouth x-ray. In a matter of minutes he came in w/ my x-ray sat down and showed me on the screen what the problem was. I was like OMG!! he already saw the issue and continued to tell me that my molars lost some bone mass and they were sinking down into my gum that is why they looked grey on the x-ray. That is why I was getting the abscess on my molars. I was so relieved to know what the problem was. He then explained to me that I can have them extracted or seek to save my molars. In this case I was like I don't want issues anymore and I also red root canals have more problems!! No way do I want anymore pain. I decided to have them pulled out!! Continued with my appointments and I have to say Dr. Hertz was gentle, kind, very excellent to explain thoroughly in great detail what the issues are and how the extraction process takes place. I have never ever met a doctor who really cares!! This man loves his profession to really help people in pain. Ever since I got my molars pulled out I'm Good!! You're in good hands with this man who is an angel to help you through your pain!!! I would recommend him to the world!! Especially when we all know a lot of doctors are about the paycheck or don't have any bed side manners to help you. I'm just keeping it real!! When I went to my dentist for a cleaning somewhere in Ave U; she told me that I needed 4 wisdom teeth removed. They refered me to a oral surgeon, but they didn’t take my insurance. That’s when I took matter into my hands. I began googling oral surgeons; I found a lot, but the one that had the best reviews was Dr. Marc Hertz. I called up and asked if they take my insurance plan; they said yes !!! The first day I met him he was very kind and happy to see me ! I scheduled my first tooth extraction session. The best part was the anesthesia ???? !! But nonetheless he the process painless. I followed all of his directions and within a month or so i was back to my normal self. But, ofc I had to do another extraction. This was the last one. When I left his office I was dealing with pain, but by the end of the night the pain has gone down a lot. This past Fall, I went to Dr. Hertz for a consultation and he recommended a tooth extraction; however, it would take a few weeks before my next appointment since I had to obtain a referral. Shortly after, I received a letter from my health insurance indicating my coverage would end within the next week because I no longer qualified. They were at least able to process my referral faster because I explained I couldn't afford to pay thousands of dollars for this procedure. I called Dr. Hertz immediately and explained the situation and that I needed to be seen within the next week before my coverage ended. He went above and beyond to help me. He was overbooked during that week (due to holidays) so he went as far as coming in on a Saturday night to do my procedure - there was another patient there too. I got my tooth extracted (which had been a problem for years) this past September and haven't had a single issue since. The process was pain free and I didn't even need to take any medication after the procedure. I highly recommend him! POSTED THIS ON A DIFFERENT SITE. REPOSTING HERE THE BEST EVER!!!!! Needed a wisdom tooth pulled. I was out of town at the time it started hurting. By the time I got back I was in agony! Not even strong painkillers could help. Dr. Hertz agreed to see me even though it was at the end of the day on Friday before the weekend and he still had a long trip home! Bottom line the extraction went as smooth as possible. He did such a good job that within 24 hours I was completely off painkillers and feeling almost normal. I had no swelling at all. Had a last minute oral surgery to remove a wisdom tooth that needed to be done because another office was out sick. The receptionist here was awesome and worked with me to find a way to get me in. Dr. Hertz was also great. They did local anesthesia and that same day of surgery I only took 3 Ibuprofen tablets and nothing else afterwards. No pain on the second day and everything is healing well a week out. I don't know how this is possible after the stories I have heard from friends about extractions but it is amazing. I moved from LA a couple months back and got worried when my wisdom teeth started to hurt. I didn't know any oral surgeons near me in the city, but my aunt suggested that I visit Dr. Hertz. I'm so happy I listened. Dr. Hertz did an incredible job. He extracted my two top wisdom teeth and the operation could not have gone better. He uses a sedative so everything went by so quickly and painlessly. Two days later and I still have not needed to use any pain medication. My face looks totally normal (no swelling at all!). I have been going to Dr. Hurtz for over 10 years. He is an excellent oral surgeon with a very helpful manner that puts me at ease with my extractions. I never worry about oral surgery I need, due to his pleasant and caring attitude towards me. I never have felt pain during the extractions an he has always been available for any calls regarding any question I may have had about follow up care. With Dr. Hurtz and his staff I always feel I am in good hands! I recommended him to famiy and friends.

I was shaking when I went even tho I read all these amazing reviews- but I hav to say that dr. Hertz has the most angelic hands. I did not feel any pain at all. And even tho I was officially awake just given something to make me drowsy- I hardly remembered any part of the procedure rite after it was done. Doctor Hertz had a very nice bedside manner. He reassured me, as I was nervous about getting a wisdom tooth extracted. He made sure I was nice and comfortable. As I type I'm, 4 hours post extraction, and I'm able to eat (on one side of course) and I'm not in pain. The only hurt is in the name... ???? ???? ???? ????

Best out there! I had nerves wrapped around my wisdom tooth and went to two other places before. They said I'd need to sign a waiver that I won't sue if my face or lips become permanently numb. Dr. Hertz explained it could be a possibility but said in confidence that he has done this many times and never had a problem and he doesn't see why I'd be any different. definitely recommend! Great Experience!! I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled by him & 2 by another dr. The experiences cannot be compared! Dr Hertz was so nice & friendly & did the procedure quickly. I was totally off pain meds 3 days later whereas the other time it took at least 2 weeks. Highly Highly recommend!
