Told me I needed surgery and he refused to do it because of my weight. It was my shoulder. Didn’t bother to tell me in the 5 costly appts that would be an issue.

I recently had 2 knee replacements in June of 2021, Dr. Golden is an excellent surgeon with great understandable communication skills. My knees are doing well and am so glad he was referred to me. I might also add that his office manager Shannon in Oakland is a great asset and runs a smooth ship. Highly recommended to have Dr. Golden ???? Dr Golden repaired my torn quadriceps tendon in 2013. I was back running in less than 6 months and fully recovered in under a year. 6 years later, I can say that he did an excellent job and I've had no problems running.

I think Dr Golden is the best , he has done alot of different surgeries for me. A very caring Dr. He is my choice 100%

If you've already tried physical/occupational therapy, wearing wrist braces, stretching, etc., and still have pain, Dr Golden is great for orthopedic surgery or a cortisone shot -- I've had both from him several times (for several different problems), with excellent results.

Dr. Golden is a good listener and extremely skilled specialist. He explores all options and treatments so you can make the best decision. I have complete confidence in him and have recommended him to family and friends. He understands the needs of athletes and has allowed me to continue training as I get older.
