He’s really a great doctor with a warm sense of humor.

A little man with a rather large "I love me" complex. A skilled surgeon but very sloppy on follow up. Cannot keep a partner. They seem to leave him.

Dr. Gertner is the best! I've had four procedures performed by him, all with uneventful outcomes. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever encountered. He is an angel with invisible wings. Hey, Dr. Gertner, if you ever see this, it's your "Maggie Sue!" I am doing great and retired. Thank you for everything and for always taking good care of me. He saved my life, my husband and my son's.

I worked for Dr. Gertner until I retired. He is a very special person! I loved working with him, but most of all, I never got to thank him enough for saving my daughter’s life. If not for his quick acting and wise assessment of my daughter’s condition, she would not be with us now! Thank you Marc, from the bottom of my heart!! Best regards, Rona

I actually had a really good experience with Dr gertner super kind and knew what he was doing. However the first time I called I specifically asked if my insurance covered and secretary said yes (except the copay). I went in about 4 times, then I got a $250 bill in the mail, I called and she told me "well that's the policy". I'm in college and couldn't really afford it, they wouldn't budge no matter what I said, I even played the recording of the secretary saying treatment was completely covered besides for the copay, all they said was we will send it to a collecting agency if you don't pay. I even spoke with doctor gertner asking to make it less at least. I ended up paying full and with a bad taste. Love, Love, Love Dr. Gertner he's the absolute best! His bedside manner is out of this world!

Dr, Gertner is the best surgeon. He is very passionate, caring, knowledgeable and professional and makes you feel like a friend.

Dr Gertner is an outstanding doctor. He has the best bed side manner, he’s very smart and mostly importantly, he takes time to listen to his patients. It’s clear that he cares deeply for the well being of his patients and I am glad to have found him as a doctor. He’s the best!!!

Truly one of a kind - would not go anywhere else for colonoscopies.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gertner since 1984. I met Dr. Gertner when I was a27 years old...I’m now 60 years and still seeing Dr. Gertner. He is a outstanding surgeon. Over the years he has done some minor and major surgeries on me. The one surgery that stands out is when he removed a goiter. He sewed me up so well, without a scar, that it’s hard for me, or anyone else, to see where the skin was pierced. He cares about his patients. Blessed to be his patient! Recommend him HIGHLY!

Dr. Gertner is excellent! He is the go to person for my Colonscopy. He is very professional and I have always felt at ease with him. He takes the time to explain what he will be doing and he is there when you wake from the sedatives to explain what his findings were and gives instructions on what to do to restore your body or lessen any discomfort you may be having. He always does a followup call the next day to make sure there were no problems after returning home.

If you have to see a surgeon, it’s great to see one who’s knowledgable, confident, and personable. Amusing helps too. Dr. Gertner has been terrific in treating me and helping me understand MRSA. It’s been a scary finding, but Dr. Gertner is straight-forward with information and instruction. I’m glad to have found a surgeon I trust.

He is the BEST!! I was completely comfortable in his hands!!

Great bedside personality! Husband had surgery. Called to check in on him, office called to check in on him,just all around caring, compassionate physician. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Had a dermal abscess removed. He was great. Funny. Gave me plenty of al the right meds and even called in anti-puke pills for me (on request) when I kept getting medicine tummy and getting sick. Worked like a charm. Post surgical follow ups once a week. Not a lot of waiting around in the office. Great people. Great doctor.

Genuine, caring compassionate physician who takes time with patients, explains procedures and follow up. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr Gertner is friendly, professional and personable. However that does not make up for the 2 hours that I've spent waiting to actually see him. That gives this office a big thumbs down. I shouldn't have to clear my entire evening for a follow up appointment. I will be searching for another GS if needed.

Dr Marc Gertner makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. He's a very nice man and a very intelligent Doctor. He's very experienced in his field. I don't want to go to any other Doctor for my colonoscopies.. The girls in the office are also very nice & follow through..

After simple hernia surgery I am still in pain 1 1/2 years later. I would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Gertner calmed my fears and explained the needed procedure professionally. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for his gifted hands. His bedside manner is truly genuine. There are not many doctors practicing today that care as much as about his patients, as Dr. Gertner.

2/24/15 To date Dr Gertner has performed 3 surgical procedures on me...I'd trust him to do whatever he suggests...having faith in your surgeon is extremely important and he has mine...beyond that he is easy to talk with and is totally concerned about his patients...after my procedures he took the time to call me later in the day, and I can tell you he is one busy guy...one of his calls came at 10:30 at night while he was still at his office...I also like his sense of humor...in short, while I'd prefer not to have to see a surgeon, if I have to, he's my go to guy...recommend him...I just hope he's getting enough sleep! 2/24/15 To date Dr Gertner has performed 3 surgical procedures on me...I'd trust him to do whatever he suggests...having faith in your surgeon is extremely important … More
