I had a hip replacement last year I still can’t walk right and I have a lot of pulling from the surgery to my pelvic area. I went to the clinic telling him this. It started after the surgery and I went to physical therapy. This doctor waved his hand and said there was nothing wrong with. I’m having to find another doctor. I asked if he could measure my leg to see how much shorter that I could of stayed. He didn’t even want to do that. My regular provider said he should do that. He didn’t want to help me after the surgery. I feel that he did the surgery so his attitude is he’s finished with me. I’m his patient. I do not recommend to use this doctor. It’s like he doesn’t want to bother with you after surgery. Everyone is different in healing or having some problems. Oh well I did my job you take care of your problem.

horrible, arrogant, no bedside manners... talked to to my husband and I our whole first appointment. He has no interest in what you are going through just tried to make it seem like the only reason I was in the situation I'm in is all because of me not trying hard enough. Never met and Orthopedic surgeon this rude.

Dr. Marc Dehart has a terrible demeanor. He should take his vaudeville act on the road. He has no insight into alternative treatments. His only interest is promoting surgery regardless of your needs. I doubt if he is up to date even in that...told me in a very codesending and cavalier way he might just cut an artery, vein or nerve. On my way out he handed me the paper work and told me to knock myself out and told him “the same to you”. I would never allow him to operate on my pet rock.

I saw Dr. DeHart for several problems when he was practicing in Austin. He is one of my favorite doctors of all time. He practices conservatively and has a great sense of humor. He is fond of telling people to run away from men with knives! He always explained his recommendations clearly and took all the time that was needed to be sure I understood.

Dr DeHart replaced both of my hips. One in 2013, the other in 2014. Both went extremely well, no pain only discomfort. After the second hip replacement, I was able to go home the next day. I am having problems with my knee and Dr DeHart is the only one I would trust if I have to have a knee replacement.

He replace both of my knees and when i was having problems with my shoulder he recommended one of his associates that specializes in shoulders I have since had both shoulders replaced and thank him so much for sending me to his associate
