Overall I had a great experience. The staff is great, they make sure they get you in and out. Very clean rooms that smell sanitized. I was impressed that my COVID results came back the same day.

Very long wait times, hard to get ahold of by phone due to being short staffed. Most of the staff is very nice. At first this clinic was great but going down hill sadly, too much turnover.

I would not give this place a one star. They are disgusting I don’t know how they can call their self Dr.s! They tried to put my grandmother on some of the strongest pain meds out there and that’s wrong especially when they are coherent enough to express how much it makes them sick!

To be honest this place doesn’t even deserve one star. Theres 2 of the nurses who are absolutely amazing however the others either don’t really care or are so ditzy it makes me nervous. The facility is disgusting and nothing but a health code violation. The floor is so dirty it’s gritty. The exam tables don’t have paper on them and the pillows are cloth with no cover. In the trash can there was bloody gauze with the bloody side up. At one point they actually splashed my urine everywhere in the lab. There’s no paper towels or soap in the bathroom where people take their drug screenings. I was put on suboxone and they caused my dystonia to go haywire (basically I was uncontrollably jerking violently. Looked like seizures.) I told Ahmed I had been on Subutex in the hospital and it worked amazing but the only thing that had changed since I’d left was being put on suboxone which is subutex with naloxone. He insisted that wasn’t was causing it. He said it was my psych meds that I’ve been on for years and work perfectly. He suggested I go to er and get admitted into the hospital to have tests done and he wanted me to get my psych meds switched around so I could possibly take the suboxone. The simplest answer was to switch to suboxone because the naloxone was SO obviously the problem. He’s also extremely hard to understand between his thick accent and lazy talk. You couldn’t pay me to go back there. 10/10 the worst dr I’ve ever experienced. To be honest this place doesn’t even deserve one star. Yet another ZERO star review. This is slowest, most unprofessional pack of doctors in the history of the world. All this man wants to do is stick needles in people. He's NEVER on time. I have to take an entire day off work to take my wife to her appointments because you have no idea when you'll be seen or when you'll get out of there. You'll end up being there for three to four hours for something that takes 20-30 minutes. Don't waste your time. Yet another ZERO star review. Idk why there's so many bad reviews up here... Besides being a little slow like any doctors office I think everyone there is very nice. Maybe not the most professional bunch but I like it here..

You may have to wait at any doctor's office at times, however, if I have to wait here more than an hour it's very unusual. Dr Ahmed is very kind and very attentive, he is glad to explain anything you ask questions about. He has helped me to be able to walk better, and suggested a spinal cord stimulator for me. My pain is now decreased enough due to his help that I can stay out of bed. Dr Ahmed's staff are all friendly and professional. And I receive a reminder call! No complaints here!

Zero Stars wasn't an option but in this case it should be. I lost half my bicep in a mortar blast in 2009 and have since retired from the Military. I wanted to transfer here because it was closer to my home. It took almost 3 weeks to get in and when I finally got in to see their "Doctor" it took me less than 5 minutes to realize I made a HUGE mistake in coming here. After giving me a half hour lecture about my previous treatment, he then suggested I get a better job. Since I am 100% disabled through the VA having a job I can do is hard enough to find. Even though I brought all my Medical Records for the last 8 years, he showed no interest in any of it. He hinted at the idea that my injury was my fault because I joined the Military. He also mocked my memory issues and questioned my original diagnosis. When I finally had enough of the way I was being talked down to I insisted I just leave. When I went to walk out the door I noticed that there wasn't a door knob just a deadbolt face, so nothing to really pull on to open the door. I asked, "How does this work?" He laughs as he bounced the door off the frame saying, "Your not very mechanically inclined are you?" I never wanted to hit someone more. Another ZERO Star Review....I have had dealings with this place once on my own and now a family member has had a run-in. I personally saw him 2 years ago. The appt took about 2 weeks to get. Then the wait was 4 hours. I am not exaggerating. The office was not very clean, it wasn't professionally set up in any way. The nurse walked me into a room with a laptop, a table and a chair and turned on the computer and left. Had no idea what I was doing. Oh, video chat with a therapist. Ooookay! I'll say the therapist was the ONLY person I had contact with any sense. So, an hour of "therapy" I go back to wait for the "doctor". So, I get in there and he has a very big presence about him. Pompous, arrogant....He said I was taking too much of a certain medicine. He said I needed injections in my back (which I had already done) physical therapy, and all this other junk. Ok, ok I got my script and I NEVER went back!! Fast forward to last year. A family member got an appointment to see him for Suboxone. It's a medication that SAVES many lives of opiate addicted people who truly want help. He is a prescriber, one of only 3 here in Goldsboro. So, they are started out on a much lower dose than they had been taking for the past 4 months from another Dr in Raleigh. Would not even consider letting them take what they were and that dose was the average dose everyone else takes. So, this person has struggled for half a year to get by on the tiny dose. Yes, they are still clean and doing okay but it's a struggle. People who have been adjusted to the right dose shouldn't have any struggle. They go about their life as normal. Thats what the drug is for...HELLO!! Some addiction doctors feel that you use this for a year then ween off for good. I am here to tell you...that is a mistake. I know those who have come off and done fine and Ive seen those come off and 3 weeks later be right back in the pill bottle. Everyone is different!! You cannot treat every situation with the same dose and same SOP. This family member went to their appt recently and was going to ask for a dose increase again. They had not done so in months. The therapist agreed it was fine but not the "doctor" Oh, lets test your metabolism, let's put you on a mood stabilizer, let's do all these things to avoid giving you a 4mg increase of one drug so you aren't strung out on several others. I am not speaking out of inexperience when I say less is better. The more medications you are taking, the more side effects you experience and why in the world would you put someone on Neurontin to treat opiate addiction. I know docs love top rx it for everything under the sun but they dont even know HOW it works!! My point being, this addiction doctor is so far in left field it's not even funny. He wants you to take all these other drugs and give you a "taste" of what really kills the cravings and works. Then tell you you can only have it for awhile? This is why people die. This is excatly why people overdose!! Youn take their lifeline away...so stupid!! Is it a narcotic? Yes...Is it addictive? Yes....Do you get high? Nope not like methadone and herion!!! It's better to take this drug as directed, be able to live a normal life, stay out of trouble....than to take it away and make someone go right back to what they were doing. People, stay away from this man cause he is in this for the money. He has pain management, Suboxone therapy, psychiatry, therapy, physical therapy and gosh knows what else he does in there. You can never convince me he understands addiction by the way he treats it. Some of these people need lifetime management of this and he refuses to see that. I wouldn't even give this place one star. When I was seen here, it was he most annoying appointment I've ever been to. The nurses are super unprofessional and rude. The doctors have no idea what they are talking about. I was given a diagnosis by my previous specialist and they didn't even care. I also found out that I have arthritis in my lower back and all he wanted to offer me was vitamins I could "buy on amazon". The place is dirty and that was the first turn off. This doctor is a wack job. I have been on pain medication for 14 years I have lupus, pens and screws in my ankle, a herniated disk as well as degenerative disk disease he refused to keep me on my medication instead wanted to put me on methadone or Suboxone which they give to heroin addicts! When I told him absolutely not he said he would start spinal tap injections in my back or go ahead and do back surgery. This doctor is a quack and really needs mental help. I would not tell anyone to go to this doctor. The nurses there are ok...but Dr. Ahmed told me that he wanted to hypnotized me because he feels my pain is all in my head. I've been out of pain medicine for awhile now and I'm in serious pain. My feelings was so hurt when he told me that...i just blocked out everything else he was saying. I carried an MRI disc as well as a MRI print out with me and he still said that the pain was in my head. I was like WOW!!!! But in all honesty i should have known something was up when i went for my first appointment there was about 2 people switching from him to another doctor....so maybe i should have taken the hint then. But i promise i will not be returning nor will i tell anyone else to go there. I would not tell anyone to go to this doctor. By the worst Dr. I've ever had to deal with. I would NOT ever recommend this Dr. Both Dr Ahmed and his staff are a joke. I do not see how this dr is still in business...the ONLY reason i gave him 1 star is because i had too...-5 stars in my opinion...btw its 3hrs later & still no Dr. To be found. His phone is off & staff doesn't know where he is.... Its ALWAYS something with this dr.... People please do not waste your time... Find a professional Dr...

This Dr kept me in his office for almost 2 hrs and finally attempt to examine me for about 2 mins max and after reviewing MRI tell me it may not be trueand told his staff to make sure she notes that he keptme that long to ensure he got paid.Sad.it is also worth noting since this is a pain management clinic, the race breakdown of who he writes rx for. been coming to this office forover2 yrs andhe feels he can deny me and it's ok,then it's the"new"rule Wrong.willntstoptilinvestigation

I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed's since 2006 when I moved to Goldsboro from out of state. You will NOT find a kinder, gentler or more knowledgeable pain management specialist-in my opinion. I absolutely love the staff too!!

Okay so this office does take forever sometimes but that's not really a problem for me. I have a damaged spinal cord, a broken neck, and a broken spine and chronic widespread nerve pain. All these other doctors in Goldsboro gave me Tylenol or gabapentin because they are to chicken to write prescriptions that people need for pain. This doctor took me in, helped me get on a treatment plan for my pain and now I can finally get out of bed and do things. I appreciate everything he has donst is doing.

Dr Ahmed may not be the friendliest but I wasn't looking for a friend. He knows what he's doing and I've been clean since the first day I met him!!! That's what was most important to me.
