the women at the front desk are extremely rude the doctor needs to fire e very last one of them Ive been trying to call him for weeks and have a word with him the whole time they act like all i need to do is talk to them no your not the doctor i paid to talk to the doctor not you when i go up there its not going to be a pretty sight avoid these place at all costs

customer service is horrid ive been trying to get my prescription from these people for month because i am un able to go into the office i asking them for a solution and the females up front continues to give me trouble and wont let me talk to the doctor smh it seems like they are on a power trip then they should of went to school and been doctors take my advice and find a different op

I went to this Dr. Thinking I would get good treatment, well it turns out that he said my eyes were great, but at the same time I still felt something funny in my left eye oh, so I decided to get a second opinion so I went to Golden Optometric on Washington and this optometrist told me that I have cataracts so now I need surgery I highly recommend Golden Optometric not doctor Gonzalez. Dr. Gonzalez got my prescription wrong and his staff refused to have it corrected without charging $20 dollars, which still didn't guarantee he would change it back to a working prescription. So I decided to go elsewhere and pay again for an eye exam done right. No wonder this place gets such a low ratings. Poor customer service from the office of a bad optometrist. Not recommended. Dr. Gonzalez and his staff are friendly, professional and provide great service. Prices with insurance are decent. My only advice is, if you are planning to get a second pair of glasses without insurance DO NOT get them here. I got a quote from this office on a pair of sunglasses, lenses only (using my own frames)and was given a price of $480.00 (progressive $255.00, polarized $150 and polycarbonate $75.00). I was lucky to get an appointment the same day I called, and I was in-and-out in just an hour! The doctor and his staff (one sharp woman) were friendly, attentive, and communicated well. I will gladly return.

Been coming here for years, always good service and quick responsiveness. They also have excellent technology with field of vision, retinal photographs and oct.

Dr. Gonzalez is the first optometrist to see me though I have State insurance(Medi-Cal). I've gone over five years without my prescription and being so blind made me quite insecure. I was told three years ago that I may be able to get into a different optometrist, yet I was warned that the process takes 6 months, so I'm so grateful that he had my prescription ready in under a week. Dr. G’s office is small but very welcoming. This was my first time at the office and I will continue coming here. He noticed my eye nerves were weak and he is the first doctor to bring that to my attention. I did have an issue with my insurance coverage on my lenses... I picked my glasses at Target Optical at a much cheaper rate with my insurance benefits. The breakdown was easier to understand. I did order my contacts for an entire year through Dr. G’s office and paid 129$ day of and I’ll be receiving a 50$ rebate! Can not complain there! Thank you guys so much! Went in because I needed a check up and also wanted to get some prescription glasses for work. It didn’t say online they had oakleys but they do! That was a plus. Manuel was super cool and attentive. The staff was great and no complaints here. Can’t wait to get my oakleys????????

They just have very poor coordination. I've left messages to make an appointment and they don't get back to me. They had stated they will be getting back to me in a week when my order was in and it has been 3 weeks with no phone call. Gave them a chance and call me crazy but business staff need to understand communication is key to being on the same page. I already have a busy job and don't need to follow up this often. Dr. Gonzalez is very nice though. He needs rally his team on making sure communication and follow up is priority. They just have very poor coordination. In my opinion. excellent staff I have been patient for more than 15 years, my son and I, during all this time I have no complaint. One of the girls has been there for all this time. her name is Mayra,???? she has always maintained a very attentive attitude very sweet. My son and I are very happy with the doctor and the staff.

So been coming here for 15 years. never had problems until recently. they messed up my order, i have waited 3 months to get my new pair of glasses, when it should have been 3 weeks. Been coming here for years they are the best I have found. The Dr. is awesome and so are the staff !

I purchased prescription glasses from here and was really blown away by the staff, especially Myra. My coworker and I both came in together and were really picky about our glasses and she was so patient and helpful with the both of us. My glasses came back defective from my insurance company's lab and they bent over backwards to get me a new pair and provide me with a temporary pair along with a lot of adjustments to make them work for me in the meantime. I honestly feel like my situation has a total pain in the rear but they have never treated me like that. I really like and appreciate this place and although I didn't get my exam here done before, I intend to in the future because I've met Dr. Gonzalez while in the office and found him to be very nice as well! Fantastic staff and doctor

I will be making an appointment their soon to have my eyes checked and new glasses ordered, every visit I've made they never failed to be successful, looking forward to my next visit real soon!

This is a small location but staff here are always friendly and very helpful. Dr. Gonzalez has always been polite and has displayed a professional environment. He is down to earth and friendly. The wait is not very long. In and out within the hour.
