Dr. Manu Bhakoo

I switched pediatricians for my 6 month old and it was the best decision. I already knew dr. Bhakoo was really taking the time actually check my son for anything and seemed to be in a rush. The other doctor I saw in gilbert was so much better and really check everything AND gave me more information and took that one on one time with me in no rush she was amazing. Although I'm not a fan of bhakoo, their office ladies are so sweet and made me feel at home but that's the only reason I was sad to leave.

We have used this office for over 17 years~ all my kids and Grand Kids! Dr. Bhakoo knows his stuff and has always been excellent. Thank you for your wonderful "bedside" manor. We appreciate you and your FABULOUS Staff.

We had been experiencing trouble getting our kid's ADHD medication refilled but Craig went out of his way to make sure he was taken care of. We were really concerned that he'd have to go to school without it, so it meant a lot that he went out of his way to get it fixed. Thank you so much for helping our kiddo

Dr. Bhakoo is an awesome doctor. My youngest was suffering from frequent urination. Two doctors said it was anxiety. Dr. Bhakoo immediately knew the problem and my son was back to normal within a week. Since then, both of my sons have been patients. I am so thankful that we have finally found a good doctor.

My son had a severe infection. Dr. Bhakoo denied this and said it was nothing. I showed him the red welts on my son's arm. The doctor said to ignore it. I was very turned off when doctor Bhakoo was more concerned about how much money he could get from my insurance for the visit. It turns that when I went to a different doctor to get a second opinion the infection was very serious and needed to be treated right away. My son had a severe infection. Dr. Bhakoo saw my children after their original doctor left the practice. He was incredibly arrogant. He refused to fill a prescription that my daughter has had for years (prescribed by multiple doctors as we have moved twice), stating that he thought she was getting too high a dose. Dr. Bhakoo assumes to much, he does not ask the right questions, nor does he investigate. This included looking at his own patients records !!! Forgive me for believing that a Doctor would fully read his patients records. If he had , he would of realized that this patient had S.J. I would give this establishment and Dr Manu Bhakoo one and a half stars☆1\2 half * is because I know that he tries ~and he means well and he knows his business for the most part~ but when it comes to ☆specialized medicine ☆ even those that have medical doctorate are not specialists in their field, they are a general practitioners and that sometimes fall short when it comes to "infectious disease" or Dermatological problems such as "contagious rashes " we requested Dr Bahkoo give us a referra,l and he would not do it ! Even claimed he could not see rashes when they were blatantly on her and raised in multiple places, with redness showing and they were spreading hands knees inside of the leg and arms. We asked for a referral because we are concerned about the rash has been spreading and the cream has not shown help that he had prescribed so we just concerned with her pain and suffering and she is going to go to a specialist of our choosing so thanks but no thanks maybe get some glasses and you'll see the rash. Dr.Bhakoo has been my childrens pediatrician and now treats all my grandchildren. He treats us just like family. He always takes the time to explain everythind and has excellnt bedside manners. Dr.Bhakoo is just an amazing doctor!! We have been seeing him for the past 7 years and he always makes my kids better, my kids just adore him and always look forward to seeing him! Thank you Dr, Bhakoo for all that you do!,

We went to Dr Bhakoo for frequent skin eczema for my 3yr old son. He did few blood tests & diagnosed wheat & milk allergy. Who would have thought? We are so happy now as the symptoms are now gone on controlled diet. My son loves going to his "Dr koo"

Dr. Bhakoo is excellent when it comes to the health of your children. My siblings also trust his care with their children so that speaks volumes. Dr. explains procedures, development, reasoning behind referrals,etc. He asks about our concern and is kid friendly. I live two hours away but it is worth it knowing my kids are in good hands and receiving the best healthcare.

We took our daughter here for an assessment of a rash. Although Dr. Bhakoo is not a dermatologist, we thought he would be able to give us some guidance. He never diagnosed her correctly and tried 5 different creams and oral antibiotics (mind you the rash began as 2 small dots.... and the dermatologist informed us it is just mild eczema). Each time something did not work, he said, "this is just what we try next." Every time my husband brought her in to the office she caught some kind of bug from colds to stomach bugs from the office and waiting area. Not only was Dr. Bhakoo incompetent in his medical assessment, lacking in his practice cleanliness, but he also displayed poor bedside manners and a total disrespect for my husband as a parent. Dr. Bhakoo, as well as his staff at the front desk treated my husband poorly, unfairly, and did not answer questions in the same manner they answered them for me when I finally had to start calling in on my work hours because of the lack of assistance my husband was receiving over the phone. Synopsis - don't go here if you expect your child to get treated for anything that requires the doctor to think through the situation and don't rely on the staff to not treat a caring father like some kind of a deadbeat baby-daddy. Love Dr Bhakoo!! He has been our children's pediatrician for many years. Very caring, easy to book same day appointments!

Dr.Bhakoo is really friendly and gentle. He is busy/quick so make sure you go in with questions and bring them up. He doesn't make you feel rediculous over asking anything which is refreshing with doctors. I like him alot and my daughter seems very pleased with him. She's been seeing him almost 2 yrs now.

I love Dr. Bhakoo. All three of my children go to him. My sister takes my niece as well because of his superior care. I am a nurse and I love the fact that I never feel rushed out of his office. He has an exceptional bedside manner and is excellent with my children. They really like him. He is thorough and provides excellent care. I would recommend him to anyone and he also has polite, caring staff.

Dr Bhakoo is a great Dr , but I must say that his Nurse Leslie goes above and beyond what she needs to do , she makes the kids feel like they are family , and always has a smile , Love his nurse Leslie dont lose her!!!!

Dr. Bhakoo has been my daughters doctor for over 5 years. He is wonderful as is his staff. He is a great doctor. Sadly, he has not renewed his contract with our insurance which has forced me to find a new doctor for her, this is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. My daughter and I are devasted over him not renewing the contract. I am sure my daughter isn't the only patient he is losing so I don't know why he would do this. DR.BHAKOO HAS BEEN MY KIDS DOCTOR FOR 6 YEARS NOW HE IS SUCH A WONDERFUL DOCTOR JUST BY SEEING MY KIDS HE ALWAYS TELL WHATS WRONG WITH THEM I TRUST HIM SO MUCH..

We recently moved into town & my son loved Dr Bhakoo at the first visit last week! Dr Bhakoo explained the diagnosis & treatment plan in such details with drawings & flowsheet, we as parents were completly satified that we chose the right physician.

He mis-diagnosed my 5 mo. old daughter with ear and throat infection. Argued with me that she had a temp. when his asst. confirmed 5 mins. before that she did not. He aggressively inserted tongue depressor in her mouth to look at her throat resulting in her screaming afterwards. Found out from my pediatrician the next day that he commonly mis-diagnosis patients like this and per CDC guidelines, she cannot have an ear infection w/o a fever. Explains why he hounded me about fever that wasnt there!
