Manoj Kumar Mehta

I’ve had more than my share of colonoscopies in my time, and while I guess I wouldn’t go so far as to call myself a connoisseur, Dr. Mehta and his team deserve 10 stars. The doctor and his team are all kind, gentle, informative—and importantly—they are cheerful and they all have a sense of humor, which for this procedure is a definite must. I so appreciate their warmth and their competence. I also think the location (Wilmette) is brilliant, as the setting is far more casual and relaxed than the hospital. I’m very grateful that my primary care physician urged me to go with Dr. Mehta. ????

Dr. Mehta is very personable. Very good at communicating medical issues. Staff, receptionist to medical assistants, are gracious. Most of all, this is a great way to avoid the commotion of a hospital setting for a colonoscopy.

I was referred to Dr. Mehta after struggling with complex GI issues for an extended period of time. I had seen many doctors over the course of nearly two years. Dr. Mehta took time to thoughtfully review my entire, complicated story, and immediately and actively engaged as a productive contributor on my health care team. He has had a significant positive impact on helping to move forward with diagnosis and treatment efforts.

I have been under the care of Dr. Manoj Mehta for the past 10 years. As always, the most important aspect of care is competency of the care provider. Dr. Mehta deserves an A+++. Dr. Mehta has the vision to understand that most patients would prefer to have an endoscopic procedure performed in an easy to reach comfortable setting. The Endoscopy Center of the North Shore provides care outside of a hospital setting and enables the stress level associated with these procedures to be at a low level. What an amazing group of caring and top-notch professionals! The entire staff, from the front desk to the nurses and anesthesiologists to Dr. Mehta, are everything you would want in a healthcare team. The office is beautiful, modern, and comfortable. The scheduling was very easy. The patient instructions were very clear and someone was always available to answer my questions. The day of the procedure I was greeted warmly and every step was fully explained. I felt cared for and in excellent hands. This is a superb alternative to the hospital environment. A great experience from start to finish! Scheduling the appointment was easy and with a helpful receptionist. The prep was well explained and I knew that if I had any questions I could call. Upon arrival at the center, I was greeted and cared for by an amazing team. Thank you for making this un-fun procedure a delight!

I had the opportunity of going in for my first upper endoscopy today with Dr. Manoj K. Mehta. I hadn't met or spoken to him prior to the visit. To say the least, it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Manoj K. Meht and his staff were more than capable in getting the job done. Arrived 10-15 minutes before my scheduled appointment with my paperwork done and waited a total of 3-4 minutes before I was in and going through procedure with the RN. (who was totally awesome) She explained what was going to happen and also entertained/answered any question I gave her. Dr. Manoj K. Meht came in as well both before and after the procedure and broke down the results of the procedure for me in a way a 5th grader would be able to understand. I appreciate his professional opinion and input and am confident I have a reliable GI doctor I can go to now. Strongly recommend. Thanks again doc. Dr Mehta has been my Dr for 18 years now. I wouldn’t even consider going to another Dr. Every procedure I’ve had has been great. Now my Mom, Sister and Husband have all gone to him and also are very happy with how we are taken care of and treated.

Dr. Mehta is the best Doctor I have ever been to in my entire adult life , he’s kind , and treats you with so much respect. He was the only Dr that was able to diagnose me with my health problem, I’m so happy doctors like him exist.

Dr. Mehta and his staff are very comfortable to talk with. They make sure all your needs are met. The Colonoscopy prep and exam, I found to be better than my previous exams. The team is very professional and comforting. You won't be disappointed in choosing this doctor and his staff.

Dr. Mehta is a friendly and caring physician. He explained my medical needs and recommended procedures in a very clear, understandable manner, after thoroughly reviewing my medical background. I have found him to be highly competent in his field of gastroenterology.

If I could give more than five stars I totally would. I have been with Dr. Mehta for fifteen years, since I was a teenager, and he is one of the best doctors I've ever met. I was supposed to see a partner of his at first but the scheduling got messed up so I ended up seeing him and I am so happy how it worked out. Dr. Mehta takes a personal interest in me and even though I only see him once a year he doesn't forget any details. I have an unusual case and he goes above and beyond to get answers.

Dr. Mehta and his staff were efficient but friendly. I felt well cared for. There was very little waiting time. I was at his facility, the Endoscopy Center of the North Shore, for a colonoscopy. About an hour after I walked into the center, the nurse was calling my wife to pick me up.
