You can't reach a doctor or anyone else. The very first time I called to schedule an appointment, I was able to speak to a real woman who told me I would get an intake form emailed to me after I got off the call. I never got the form. Every time I try to call the office, I now get an automated message saying all the doctors are out of the office. That's not good patient service.

I wish I could give 0 stars. At first I really respected dr. Kahlra, then I slowly realized that was only because I was saying what she wanted to hear. Anytime I asked for a refill (which was once a year, even once every couple of years) it was like pulling teeth to get her to fill it. Just today, I asked for one and her response was that I needed to be seen (I was last seen a month ago for a physical). Please tell me how that makes any sense? I’m no longer dealing with her absurd policies to get more money out of her patients. She is not a provider that puts her patients needs first. I am now looking for a new physician. We moved to Maryland last year after spending 50 years in Michigan. A friend recommended r. Kalra. She has been a wonderful doctor for me. Her treatment has improved my overall health considerably in less than a year. She is warm and caring and so is her staff. I was amazed at the amount of time she spent with me during my visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Kalra as a primary care physician to people of all ages.

Dr. Kalra is my physician for 6 years. After moving in Rockville 8 years ago I've tried 3 different clinics before found Family Medicine in Shady Grove. It's definitely one of the best clinic with one of the best physician and staff. I recommend Dr. Kalra to everybody.

Good doctors, but so hard to make an appointment that works or is not more than a few weeks away at a time. Plan ahead. (edited)

SHE IS AN OUTSTANDING PHYSICIAN!!

I've had good experiences with Dr. Kalra. Can't complain.

Dr. Kalra has a very gentle presence: she is kind and attentive. I've also seen Dr. Seem, who is likewise even-keeled and thorough. Both are big on educating patients on nutrition and preventive healthcare -- this is not something you find commonly in healthcare in the US; I feel grateful that both doctors take their time to educate and explain. I am also a big fan of their phlebotomist; he's always done an excellent job. The MAs and front desk staff are sweet and friendly. It is a very busy office, so there is an occasional wait (such is the nature of healthcare), but I've never been made to feel rushed. I am very appreciative of this office and its staff. Dr. Kalra is my family physician - she is absolutely the most caring physician I have ever met. You can count on her to give you both tips/home remedies as well as meds. She will never over medicate or send you for unnecessary tests or procedures. She is extemely clear regarding the care pathway. Also, she is graet about getting back to you on the app. To top it off, she will make an effort to fit you in same day if you are really sick and need to be seen. I have never met a physician as amazing

I do not recommend this doctor because she does not value others time. It’s unacceptable to have someone wait more than 40 mins after their scheduled appt time especially if you arrive 15 mins early. This is all the time with her. All the time!!! I have had it. I will not be coming to this office again! Totally unacceptable. I do not recommend!!

Both the doctors in the practice take time to sit with you and address all the issues and concerns you have. When you go to them you know you are in good hands

A very knowledgeable, honest and compassionate team of physicians. Their staff is always helpful and cheerful. Every visit is educative and I’d absolutely recommend Dr. Kalra and Dr. Seem to anyone who’s looking for quality and professionalism.

Dr. Kalra is an excellent physician. I moved to the area late last year and needed a new PCP. I have seen her a few times now. She is knowledgeable and incredibly thorough as well as kind and compassionate. Dr. Kalra always takes her time with me. She never has made me feel rushed and is definitely not a doctor where you feel like you've only got a few minutes with them. Their phlebotomist is also excellent. As someone with a chronic illness who requires frequent blood draws, I have become a "hard stick" over the years. I have been to so many places where it takes 3-4 tries. Their phlebotomist has always gotten it on the first try which reduces my pain and stress significantly! I can't recommend this practice enough! Dr. Kalra is an excellent physician. The clinic said she can do kid's annual check so we went to there. However, she is definitely lack of knowledge about pediatrics and vaccines... And when we switched to our current pediatrician, we called the clinic to get the vaccine record. They cannot find the record... when insurance has the record of vaccine charges... Oh, my gosh -- Dr. Kalra is simply outstanding. The level of care and her knowledge are absolutely outstanding! And she called me to find out how I was feeling the next day. To add to this, the office is immaculate and her staff are friendly and professional. I think this practice is unusually good, with Dr. Manisha Kalra at the helm.
