Excellent Oncologist

Dr. SHAH is a humane, professional doctor, gives special treatment to everyone, respects every person, and the most important thing is that he has a blessing from God in everything he does. I wish him and his team always a blessing and success in everything

Dr Shah is a caring physician concerned with the health and welfare of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been under the care of dr. Shah for the past 10 years. You cannot ask for a finer doctor, and this is critically important when it comes to oncology. He has a thoughtful and calm manner, and has a deep understanding of the subject matter and takes account of the patient's concerns and considerations.

I had a virtual visit with Dr. Shah. I had a lot of trouble getting the link. His office staff and he were very helpful and patient.

Brilliant, professional, comforting, supportive - all and more than one would possibly expect from an Oncology

Dr. Shah or his assistants promptly responded to all questions concerning the pre-surgery and post-surgery chemotherapy regimes. In-person sessions were unhurried and thorough. During a recent post-surgery visit, Dr. Shah empathetically discussed future CAT scans and follow-up. We continue to follow my progress as I move through post-surgical Ct-scans and I appreciate his care more every day. Dr. Shah is one of the most thoughtful doctors I’ve worked with. He is a very caring doctor who seems to have a fantastic grasp on how medical issues outside of his department, can be dealt with while administering Chemo, or not, by stopping the treatment to make the best of your total health issues. His advise has been greatly appreciated, and I have found myself being pleasantly surprised by his decisions, as he synthesizes the complex elements that affect treatment and non treatment strategies. Nobody is perfect or has a crystal ball to work from, after that, I feel confident that Dr. Shah has my best interests in mind!

Dr. Shah has been my oncologist for 4 years. I trusted him with my life (literally) and didn’t regret one moment of it. Knowledgeable, practical, calm and incredibly brilliant. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Dr. Shah is thoughtful, kind, insightful, patient, honest, and excellent. I have been in his care since my rectal cancer diagnosis in October of 2019, and I have always felt supported and listened to. His recommendations weren't always easy to hear (chemo, radiation, surgeries, etc.) but they were spot on. I highly recommend him.

I only saw Dr. Shah one time; he was filling in for my regular Dr. who was on vacation. My experience was a good one, but I don't have enough experience with him to make a recommendation.

Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable, encouraging and accommodating. He has a calming presence. I am very grateful and blessed that I have the opportunity to be his patient.

Dr. Shah was on vacation when he was contacted about my uncle. He took time and scheduled a televisit, while on vacation, and then a test for my uncle the same week. That's a dedicated physician!

He has developed a plan for chemotherapy and surgery that was successful and has given me a new lease on life. He works closely with my Weill Cornell colon surgeon Dr Shukla. Dr. Shah has been one of the most professional and caring doctors that I’ve encountered since my diagnosis. He’s a very straightforward and proactive person, having someone like him on your side is a great comfort while dealing with the stress that cancer causes. Any doctor who would take the time on a weekend to call and see how you are feeling is one who I would recommend to my closest family and friends.

I am have colon cancer. I really recommend those doctors and I’m really happy with my treatment. Thanks God to be and there hands Day by day I get better.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Shah. He is brilliant and compassionate. He is also very straight with patients in this most difficult of specialties. I was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Dr. Shah developed a course of chemotherapy and ultimately surgery together with Dr. Shukla my amazing surgeon. Together these brilliant doctors have helped to give me a new lease on life.

Dr. Shah was curt, to the point and he knows his craft. I looked him up and was very impressed. I will put my life in his hands and pray ??, for the best ??.

Dr Shah is fine. Very competent. However the bean counters have closed one of the infusion centers and now the remaining infusion center in 1305 York is overrun. And understaffed. All of the staff complain about not having the chairs for infusions and this has led to long waits for people to get their chemotherapy. This is a bad idea having an overflow of people waiting around in an age of covid. They only have capacity for 35 patients at a time and today there were 44. whoever is crunching the numbers is sacrificing patient care in the name of dollars and cents. I thought better of New York Presbyterian than that... In fact you are better than that. Don't penalize patients just so that you can squeeze a few extra pennies by closing the other infusion center. Reopen it immediately! No one can receive the kind of care they need when they have cancer if the staff is overwhelmed. They are great but they simply cannot make room that doesn't exist

Dr. Shah is the doctor sent to us by God. We have stage 4 stomach cancer metastasized to liver., No one believe that we will survive more than a year! We are almost 3.5 year now... and we are good! We trust him! We feel in good hands and sometimes we forgot that we have a cancer. THANK YOU DOCTOR!

Dr Shah is a superb doctor who provides world class care, which is particularly critical in cancer treatment. As a patient of many years, I can attest that you cannot ask for better care. Moreover, he is a leading expert in the area and can thus offer the best treatment options.
