Dr. Manish Sagarmal Chauhan

I really cannot do justice in a written review. Dr. Chauhan has been my cardiologist for about 20 years now. Being born with a defective heart, I have over 50 years of experience with cardiologists. I have been blessed to have truly great cardiologists in my life, but Dr Manish Chauhan stands out, ahead of all the others. Dr Chauhan is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Six years ago, I was given a 5-year life expectancy. Dr Chauhan had the solution, made the recommendation, and saw the operation was conducted by another doctor of his own caliber. I like that he didn’t make the operation recommendation lightly. When I inquired about my options, he simply said, It’s time. I am now one year past what my life expectancy was. I am able to do things I’ve not done in years. I’ve been up the rock at Enchanted Rock. I can walk 6 miles non-stop, and probably more. And, the number and degrees of medications I’m on has been greatly lowered. Anyway, if you are looking for a genuinely good man who will take the best care of you, Dr Chauhan is your doctor. fantastic

Hands down the best doctor i ever had. Took care of my dad, me and my wife as if we were family.

My blood pressure has been running very high and I also have an aneurysm on my heart. Yikes! No wait time and the ladies at the front desk were a hoot. Dr Chauhan was very personable and knowledgeable. Glad I made them my choice.

Yesterday Dr Chauhan & his wonderful team performed a successful valvuloplasty and repaired my mitral valve. Everyone was kind, considerate, professional & well trained. Can’t say enough about what a great experience I had!

Dr. Chauhan listened carefully to my concerns and clearly interpreted the results of my calcium scoring test. I now fully understand my situation and why I need to start taking a statin drug.

Dr. Chauhan is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and nurtured full confidence in his skills and education. His nurses and surgical team are amazing and the most efficient group of people I have ever experienced. I am another patient that is truly grateful for Dr. Chauhan’s life saving skills. Dr Chauhan is smart, knowledgeable and thorough. During the initial appointment, he knew right away the exact procedure needed to fix my heart. I don’t hesitate and encourage friends and family to schedule with him. I think he’s the best.

I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Chauhan nearly 10 years ago when he was on duty at the emergency room of St. David's in North Austin. He has been my cardiologist ever since, and he has earned my trust and respect as very few others have in my lifetime (I am currently 77 years old). Dr. Chauhan deserves my highest recommendation.

Dr. Chauhan is an excellent doctor. He repaired an ASD in my heart a number of years ago.I continue to see him for regular check ups and occasional A Fib. I've referred quite a few friends and family members to him. They are effusive in their praise of Dr. Chauhan's professional abilities and his warm and caring attention.

Since my first heart attack over 26 years ago because of moves I have had six different cardiologists and believe me Dr. Chauhan is by far the best. Both my wife and I depend on him for life saving support and he fulfills all of our hopes and desires in a cardiologist. Could not be more thankful for a Manish Chauhan.

5 years back I was having difficulty walking even few steps. I went to see my family physician and he asked me to see a cardiologist immediately. Dr. Chauhan's name was suggested by my close friend . Dr. Chauhan immediately ordered stress test with the die, and inserted 2 stents in arteries which were almost 100% blocked. After 12 weeks of Physical Therapy I have recovered well. He and his office staff have been very professional, helpful and caring from the first time I contacted his office. His staff always presents a prompt, professional reaction to my requests. It just feels favorably different walking into his office with the reception you receive. Dr. Chauhan provides me with very easy to understand and complete explanations of what he finds on my visits. I first want to start of by saying that Dr. Chauhan is very nice and knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and is very thorough with his work. He has been my mom’s physician since 2006 and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is super helpful and very nice and answer to any questions or concerns that we may have. They are quick to respond and help us out. His nurse is very nice and very knowledgeable as well . Wouldn’t change anything about him. Great physician! First visit to Dr. Chauhan was really fantastic and very informative. Not hurried, full explanation and exploration of symptoms, root causes, and possible treatment after a couple more tests. He is easy to talk to and has a sense of humor that helps ease the tension in this very serious specialty. He prescribed a 30 day heart monitor and then today on the 4th of July, he called personally to alert me of some irregularities detected. He told me his staff was already underway in making some further appointments with some of his associates to further analyze and speed up the treatment options and again, all on the 4th of July!

Compassionate, sense of humor, interested, clear.

I have been a patient of Dr Chauhan for many years. There is nobody I would trust ore than this man. He is genuinely caring, honest, and most of all competent in his field. I truly owe this man my life.

Saw him maybe 5 minutes tops and didn’t seem to care to listen to my issues before he moved on. Won’t be returning to him, have an appointment with one of his associates.

Dr. Chauhan lives to the standards of the medical profession creed. He lifts the fear that I have with my condition with his words of confidence. He listens carefully to my report on my health condition, he listens to my heart, and he actually examines me like old school...with care and careful observation. I am grateful to be blessed with a knowledgeable but most importantly a humane cardiologist.

I have worked with this group as an EMS professional to improve outcomes for heart attack victims. Dr Chauhan is now my personal physician. You will find no better care. I highly recommend Dr Chauhan.

The doctor was kind and informative. He explained clearly.. and was thorough in following up with necessary treatment and testing.

Being in his supervision for almost 4 years now, his support has been excellent for me for my recovery. He and his team respond to me any question or concerns, if I have on timely manner. He monitors progress carefully and provide treatment accordingly.

I have seen Dr. Chauhan for several years. Each time I meet with him, he is thorough, answers my questions, and makes sure I understand his explanations. He is always kind and courteous. I would strongly recommend him to anyone needed his services.

I have inoperable cardiomyopathy. When I started seeing Dr Chauhan he made changes to my drugs which made me immediately feel better. As I have aged he has made adjustments that always work well as older drugs seem to lose their effectiveness. I highly recommend him if you have an unusual heart problem like I do.

Multiple mistakes, poor communication skills, and lack of compassion on the part of some staff detract from Dr. Chauhan's clinical expertise and ability to provide excellent care. His complex and unnecessarily lengthy phone messaging system devalues the caller's time—it's staff-centered rather than client-centered. Thoughtful improvements made in these areas will make a difference in your quality of care.

My husband has been a patient of dr Chauhan for 4 years. He is an extremely knowledgeable cardiologist and very pro-active in the care of my husband's heart issues. We are so grateful that we were referred to Dr. Chauhan.
