I saw Dr. George for a thumb issue. I had classic history and symptoms for a 'trigger thumb', and mentioned that this is what I thought I had to Dr. George. He palpated the area and said that trigger thumb would hurt in an area where I was feeling no discomfort. He suspected arthritis and ordered X-rays and referred me to a hand specialist. X-rays showed zero arthritis, and two months later at the specialist, the physician's assistant pretty much said that I had 'classic trigger thumb'. The specialist confirmed that in about 30 seconds. Thanks to Dr. George, I now have permanent reduced range of motion in that thumb. Misdiagnosing this straightforward condition makes me concerned about his diagnostic skills for more complex medical problems. The one star is for his efficiently run office, as I had minimal waiting time. Time to consider retirement, perhaps, Dr. George? I saw Dr. George for a thumb issue. I visited Dr George for my first appointment. He spent the entire time typing on his computer. I tried to discuss several things with him and felt ignored. I sat there for 20 minutes of awkward silence, then he took my blood pressure and said "see you in 3 months" I have difficulty getting my prescriptions refilled , sometimes waiting several days for them to call them in. His nurse was extremely rude on the phone when I tried to explain a mistake I had made on a med. basically calling me a liar
