Dr. Mandya Vishwanath

Dr 'Vish' did my aortic transplant on 3/11/2013. My previous experiences w/my heart problems were very scary. When the time came to replace my birth defective aorta my local cardiologist referred me to Dr Vishwanath- quote -'He's the one you have to see'. I did and have 8 years of peace. I know he did an exceptional job and my heart is in the best shape possible. If, God forbid , I should have further difficulties, I know where to go ... His bedside care while I in the Hospital was A1. He was there every day. The first problem was to get me walking ... He walked with me.

My condition required a triple bypass and valve repair. That's a lot for a man in his 80s. I was well cared for, well informed and happy with the outcome.

Wonderful Doctor ! Doctor Vishwanath replaced my aortic valve on 3/11/13. I have no further heart issues, after pretty much a lifetime of such. Today I celebrate 6 years, after surgery ! While hospitalized, he personally checked on me every day. I have never had such a caring, competent, committed, doctor in my life. I w/soon be 78 years old. S.H.

Very good communicator and surgeon. He and his team gave me confidence going into surgery and, now, six months later, am grateful that he was my surgeon.
