I could not ask for a better surgeon or experience! I met Dr. MacLaren a day before collarbone surgery and he provided very detailed information about what would happen and answered questions that I had. It was my first surgery and I was nervous, but he wasn't and that helped to make me calm. After surgery, he assured me that I did well and the follow up appointments were always so pleasant. My incision healed beautifully and is really a testament to his skill as a surgeon. He even thanked me for putting my trust in him to perform the procedure I needed. If anyone ever needs an orthopedic surgeon, he is it!

No bed side manner told me he would accept my insurance Florida blue then when it came down to surgery he wanted cash and sent me pre surgery kit gauze and creme for over $2000 Never look me in the face the hole time he examined me very strange

Have been trying to get a hold of this office for records for a case that he did for us. It has been over three months and no records have been sent.

What an amazing surgeon! I'm truly blessed to have been referred to Dr. MacLaren! I had a dislocation and a tear in my shoulder, two anchors were placed. I felt better immediately after surgery than I did prior. My recovery time is way ahead of schedule. Speaking with other patients and physical therapists, this is the norm for Dr. MacLaren's surgeries. Once you meet Dr. MacLaren, you just know you are in great hands! Moreover, he is so humble and so kind. I can't speak highly enough him!

I am from Kansas and I had a prior surgery with Dr. MacLaren when I lived in Tampa, Florida. He did a surgery on my knee a few years back and did such a great job that when I had a rotator cuff tear I flew back to Tampa to have my surgery done with Dr.Mac.

Dr MacLaren has performed 2 knee surgeries for me over the past 3 years and I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, professional and very easy to talk to. His office staff is great too!

Knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions I had about my fractured tibia and was a great surgeon. I would highly recommend him for anyone with ortho issues. The wait was long some days but that's because Dr. MacLaren takes his time talking with his patients and making them feel at ease.

Horrible office staff, 1+ hour waits, rushed and rude doctor. There are too many other orthopedists out there to go to an office with so many problems.
