Great experience in a scary situation. Dr Yamamoto was extremely calming, and explained our situation so we could understand all the details. Answered all our questions. Would highly recommend her to any friend or family. thanks for great help in concerning situation.

Dr. Yamamoto is brilliant. She is thoroughly professional. At the same time, she is empathetic and has a great sense of humor. She is very honest which I appreciate. Thank you for having here there.

Our first visit was amazing. For an obviously busy doctor she took so much time with us explaining everything and with care and compassion. Highly recommended

I visited the Dr for the first time this am, she was warm, friendly, approachable, was very kind in explaining everything. Her senior resident who came in before her, was fantastic too! I had no bad experience's at either front desk, they were quick and thorough. I was given phone number directly to her nurse, as they were kind enough to NOT want you to be hanging on phone for several minutes waiting to speak to staff. Everything and everyone was accessible and kind. Her nurse was also great!

Nobody wants a cancer diagnosis, but it if happens to you, you want Dr. Yamamoto. She was kind, through, explained my options, & in the end performed the surgery which prevented my cancer from spreading. It's true that the UCI surgery schedulers/front desk folks are notoriously unhelpful, unfriendly, uninterested & unresponsive-they're corporate, you're just an insurance bill to them. But Dr. Yamamoto is excellent; She will care for you well & this is FAR more important than the staff issue

Dr. Yamamoto scheduled me for surgery (had all my blood work and xrays done) then told another surgeon who was assisting that she never had me on the schedule. She did this after my waiting three weeks to get a date for surgery. She is not accessible to her patients, her staff does not return calls, and there is no follow through on their part at all. I do not recommend this Dr. or her staff because they are very disorganized and are not helpful to the patients.
