Mahmood Rahman

I saw him for years. He was very condescending, which for a long time I mistook for kindness. The 15 minutes my insurance paid for each month for me to see him was always more like 3 minutes. Never had time to discuss the mental disorder the medicine he gave me caused. Only talked about brief chit chat . Herded people in like cattle. I am so glad I found someone else for my mental health care.

I asked him to note in my file that I was extremely depressed over my ongoing pain and he refused. The pharmacist notified him a drug he just prescribed for me would be fatal with the other meds he had me on. He called me to come in with that med and took it from me. I paid $158 and he didn't care. His mistake, He should've had his insurance make me whole. He refused. I quit going to him. BTW, he often asked me if I lived in a trailer. I live in a very nice brick home.

Dr. Rahman was a great doctor. He was always willing to help his patients. He recently retired under the impression that he had found a doctor to take his patients with minimal disruptions in current meds. The 4th time seeing new doctor he's changing all my son's meds that Dr. Rahman worked so hard to get right for him. Currently looking for a new doctor for myself and two sons. Dr. Rahman can't never be fully replaced but there has to be better ones out there than the current one.

Near Christmas one year, dr. decided to close office early and when I came for my appt the door was locked. He was not available for nearly two weeks. There was another patient at the door who was also for his appt. We found out later his office called earlier to cancel, but we were not home to get the call. I and the other patient went without meds because of this for two weeks. Now I know not to make appts the last working day of the Christmas holiday. I might not be seen.

I have been doctoring with Dr. Rahman since (approximately) 2000, and I still doctor with him 2018. He is different from other doctors and I could say more. But I will say he's been there when I needed him. The grading below will mostly have to do with the staff at the Wellness Card Woodman

Dr Rahman was my Dr. for 16 years. In 2014, I lost my job and was placed on Medicaid. He dropped me, because he doesn't accept government insurance. I haven't been given the meds I need since then. This really upsets me because he is a good Dr. and he treated me for my mental illness. Now I'm seeing another Dr, and I'm not being treated for a condition that I have. I hope that one day he will change his mind, and help those in need once again.
