Ma Rosario Guzman

Have been with Dr. Guzman for several years. You must be prepared to wait 1+ hours. Her patients tolerate this because she is a very good doctor. She is able to diagnose and recommend solutions very competently. She knows her specialists practitioners on Maui and Oahu and refers competently. She is very good with longterm, lifelong patients. If you need a doctor for short term or simple medical situations, she is not your best choice.

Dr Guzman is a nice, patient and extremely through physician who takes the time to talk and understand my medical problems- both physical and mental. Although she has a busy practice, I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

Made me wait over 1 hour to be seen. When I asked the nurse who finally brought me in and took my blood pressure why there was a delay, she was rude and told me it wasn't her fault and that it was Dr. Guzman's fault and to take it up with her. The nurse then parked me in a room and when Dr. Guzman came in I asked her why there was a 1-hour delay. She blamed the nurse and to me to ask the nurse and then went on a rant on how it was an internal problem and not my fault. Really? Ya think? Dr. Guzman then gave me very sub-par care. She didn't know any of my medical history and didn't even ask me why I had visited 10 days earlier with lower abdominal pain while she was out of the office, or what vaccines I had taken or really anything related to my personal health despite having my entire health record right in front of her. I will not be going back to her.

Wait time averages 2 hours then she wants to tell you that yuh have high blood pressure! Of course my blood pressure was high! I just sat there for 2 hours while you chatted politics! Never again. Prepare to wait 2 hours if you see this doctor!

Dr. Guzman is a very experienced doctor with great, professional work ethics and a compassionate heart. She genuinely cares for her patients well being. She is one of the best doctors I've ever had. With confidence, I am happy to recommend her to other patients looking for a great doctor.

Took tests to obtain medical certificate. All tests negative. Came back 4 weeks later to have Dr. sign certificate and she refused unless I take tests all over again. Avoid this Dr. She is money hungry.
