Dr. M. Farooq Ashraf

He is so nice and such good surgeon hands. He triple checks every thing before the operation and uses some really good staff to assist with the latest machinery. That is why I use him. I know I am getting the best Germany has to offer in machinery since they lead the world in state of the art laser equipment. Some of his machines cost millions but he buys them not to save money but to give good results. His staff around him are all top notch and stable so they work to bring you the best results. I've used him twice since 2007 and will again and again if needed as I age and need cataracts.

Dr. Ashraf and his staff provided excellent service in the cataract removal/lens replacement procedures for both of my eyes. He and his staff made this entire process pain free and stress free. His explanation of what I should expect was perfect. Without any reservation, I recommend Dr. Ashraf and his staff.

Dr. Ashraf did lasix surgery on me in 2001. My distance vision is still 20/20. I still see him yearly for check ups. He is thorough and knowledgeable. His staff are polite and helpful.

My overall experience was wonderful! From when I walked in to get my lasik surgery to when I left. The whole staff was very nice and made me feel at ease.

Dr. Ashraf, is second to none when it comes to eye care. Am so pleased that I picked him to have my Lasik surgery. Will definitely refer him to any of my friends that might be wanting to get rid of their glasses. Thanks again for the new set of eyes Dr. Ashraf!!

Really appreciate the one on one time with Dr Ashraf, he listens to my concerns and finds a solution.... and hes not in a hurry to go to next patient. The staff is awesome!

Dr. Ashram is a very caring Doctor who listens to comments and detects if the patient is completely satisfied. His follow up after surgery shows how deeply he is concerned about the patients satisfaction. I highly recommend. Dr. Ashram. I also need to address that the decor in his offices totally relaxes you and all the assistants are exceptional in knowledge, service and attitude. A joy that deal with.

Dr. Ashraf is the best! My experience at the Atlanta Vision Institute from consultation to surgery was top notch. He made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and answered every question I had. The Johns Creek office is absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The staff is very courteous and always greet me by my first name (as if they've known me for years). I love everything about the office, the staff, and Dr. Ashraf and would highly recommend them for anyone interested in LASIK.

Dr. Ashraf was very friendly, transparent and explained everything that would happen before the surgery, during the surgery and symptoms after the surgery. I had almost 20/20 vision within 7 hours after the short surgery.

I like the relaxed feeling of the office and staff. The appointments didn't feel unprepared. Procedure was explained well. Weekend follow up was appreciated. Overall I would recommend Dr Ashraf and team to my family.

I just got lasik surgery one week ago and honestly don't have enough good things to say about the dr, the staff, or the procedure itself. I was so nervous about getting this done but after my initial consultation I was ready immediately. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and let you know exactly what to expect. I really felt like they cared about my well-being. And Dr. Ashraf was very energetic and friendly and knowledgeable. He was the most friendly and personable dr I've ever been around. I am so thankful for how great the dr was during surgery. He kept saying 'it's looking great!' 'You're doing great!' So I was reassured the whole time. Currently my eyes are doing great and I can SEE! It's absolutely amazing. I've already been recommending all of my co workers who want eye surgery to the Atlanta vision institute. Thank you to Dr Asraf, Tania, Caitlin, and the rest of the staff. It truly was the best lasik experience I could have asked for and it exceeded my expectations.

The major problem is the charges that he won't summit to insurance that you have to pay and the fact he said lasik cataract was not covered by Medicare when it is. He is good but over charges me by over $2000 and will find another Dr for other eye. Other than this he is qualified but expensive as you need to prepay but can do it with dragging it over time..
