Dr. Knowles made my bad situation a planned journey with a large possibility of good results. She relays information, good & bad, in a calm, confident manner and always has "a plan". She answers all of my & my husband's questions and gives us however much time we need. She also has a fabulous team working with her. I feel I'm in VERY GOOD HANDS!

I have several friends who also see Dr. Knowles for their care. We are all very pleased with her personal attention, patience in answering questions, knowledge of the latest research and clinical trials available, and calming and reassuring presence. We are fortunate to have her practicing in our community.

Dr. Knowles has been beside me for the long journey through surgery, treatment and follow-ups. She is always reassuring but honest. I trust her completely. Considering what I've had to go through I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Knowles and I would not hesitate to recommend her to everyone.

I highly recommend Dr Knowles. I’ve been a patient of Dr Knowles for 5 years. She’s is a very caring and compassionate oncologist and an excellent surgeon. She shares and explains all treatment options that are best for your situation. She takes time to answer all your questions and concerns. I have a rare form of ovarian cancer and she is very knowledgeable in my disease and treatment. She’s also very accommodating. I live outside of the Austin area and traveling to her office can be difficult at times especially for routine labs and scans. Dr Knowles arranges for me to have these tests at other facilities closer to my home so I don’t have to drive so far. Dr Knowles has been selected numerous times by her peers as one of Austin’s “Top Docs”. Having both patients and peers like you is a win-win. I’m blessed to have her as my oncologist.

Dr Lynne Knowles is one of the outstanding doctors I have ever known. Her competency and compassion are superlative. I do believe she saved my life after my ovarian cancer diagnosis. Dr. Knowles is a wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, caring doctor. She always listens to what I have to say and thoroughly answers my questions. Her skill in surgery is amazing. My recovery after a hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer was much quicker and more pain free than I had anticipated. I attribute that to her skill with the da vinci robotic surgery method. Dr. Knowles P.A., Liz, is a terrific practitioner. They make a great team and I always felt confident in their care.

I am so glad that I chose Dr Knowles as my surgeon. She was recommended to me on a community Facebook page. Best recommendation ever! Patient, thorough, professional, skilled. I had a tumor the size of a football. My gyn was convinced it was cancer. Dr Knowles was not convinced, and Dr Knowles was right! She does surgery at Seton. I had never had surgery before and it didn’t occur to me to consider the hospital in my selection of a surgeon. I now only chose new doctors (and insurance providers) if they work with Seton. I felt comfortable with Dr Knowles and every single person I encountered on her nursing staff. Staff was quick to reply to questions and get answers for me. I was not satisfied with response of financial aid person. That person is no longer there, maybe they’ve made an improvement.

Dr. Knowles takes as much time as necessary to answer questions, explain treatment--to spend as much time as the patient needs. The surgery she performed was without complications--everything was fully explained beforehand.

I could not be happier with the care and service provided by Dr. Knowles and her entire staff.

My first annual checkup visit with Dr Knowles was, as usual, efficiently handled by the staff, and Dr Knowles was personable, professional, informative, answered all of my questions, gave advice when asked. She helped me keep my spirits up throughout the worrisome time of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments.. She gives me real facts, not platitudes. I feel confident in my future chances of surviving this scourge.

I would recommend Dr. Knowles. Having cancer is a traumatic experience and it’s important to have a doctor that truly understands that. I’ve been seeing Dr Knowles for a number of years. She takes time to answer all questions and is thoughtful, through and knowledgeable. Excellent bedside manner that lets you know she cares. It’s necessary that I feel comfortable and have confidence in a doctor and I have that with her. I’m glad she’s my doctor. I not only admire her as a smart, on-top-of-it doctor but also as a genuine and caring person. I think that she is both a surgeon and oncologist is a plus for all patients.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Knowles, she is wonderful. You never feel hurried even though she is extremely busy. She will help you in any way she can. Even though she could have waited until the next day to tell me what they found, she called in the evening so we could get going on dealing with cancer. She explains everything so you can make informed choices.

Dr Knowles is simply the BEST. I must say I love her as my Doctor and as the person she is each time we meet for an appointment. It is very clear she cares for her patients and exudes deep concern for my feelings and well being. She is knowledgeable in her field and it is obvious she does extra research to put me at ease on questions I might have on my health in general. I can feel her compassion, hear it in her voice, and see it in her eyes. I admire her combination of attentiveness and just the right amount of firmness to get through to me when I need it. When I selected her it was because she was a woman doctor. She is absolutely the best physician I could have chosen! She listens carefully, gives information and answers questions gladly and has been an amazing partner with other health professionals to address all my cancer issues. Dr. Knowles is the best! She's a doctor who truly listens to you and tries to understand what you are about. She won't sugar coat anything, but also doesn't give you more than you can handle at the time. She's really a good person who has always treated me with compassion, care and respect and is very open to working with other health care providers you may choose as part of your care team. I always feel comfortable telling her how I feel and she is very open to an integrative approach to care. Her nurse Lindsey is also stellar and shows the empathy, kindness and knowledge needed for getting answers and facilitating what needs to get done. Dr Knowles has provided me with with excellent care over the course of my cancer diagnosis. She is very thorough in providing me information about my medical condition, treatment recommended and provided. During appointments she has always given me the time I needed to review my status, answer my questions and plan for future follow ups. From the beginning she gained my trust and confidence that I was in great hands to deal with my diagnosis.

This is long overdue, but Dr Knowles is amazing! You can tell that she is extremely knowledgeable about her subject. She is emphatic while also being very informative about every procedure done. Unfortunately, I moved to a different state so she’s not my doctor anymore, but when I told her I was moving, she even took the time to sit down with me and find a good doctor recommendation for my new location. She gave me a trachelectomy, which is a pretty modern surgical procedure and I was cured. Of course, every cancer survivor continues to be monitored post treatment, but I can’t be grateful enough that I was privileged to have her as the doctor that monitored me for the first 3 years post treatment.

She was my mom's cancer doctor, very caring and concerned. I hope I never get cancer but if I did I know I'd be in great care under her.

I still have Dr Lynne Knowles as my doctor for 4 years. She is good with making me feel more calm while we talk about my health issues. I am in cancer remission. She always make her patients more calm with her smiles.

She saved my life after having been diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. I cannot recommend or say enough about Dr. Knowles. She is incredibly easy to talk to and genuinely cares for her patients. She sat with me and my family explaining every question we could possibly come up with and stayed well after working hours to ease our worries. She is an amazing da Vinci Surgical System surgeon. I've healed up nicely and am now cancer free! I would make her my ONLY doctor if I could!

I've been a patient of Dr. Knowles for 2 years now. From my diagnosis of stage III ovarian cancer, through surgery and chemotherapy, she has been amazing. Everyone in her office has been gracious, and helpful throughout this process. I am going on 1 & 1./2 years of remission, and Dr. Knowles professionalism is to thank.
