Lydia A. Thorp

One of the worst "doctors" in Central Maine. It's no wonder she "left" the previous office she was in... "I dont know what your problem is, i suggest you keep doing your own google research" (cha-ching, that will be $200 please)... AVOID this quack.

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone. Very unkind, uncaring and in compassionate especially in the pain department as she does not perscribe anything as far as pain control.

Dr. Thorp is one of the most attentive, smart, observant and compassionate doctors I've ever seen. She is excellent at problem solving. She has earned my trust and in turn is now the pcp for my children as well. I can't say enough good things about her. I am very grateful we have such an amazing physician in our area. I have told all of my family and many friends about her.

She wants everyone to see a psychiatrist instead of getting to the root of the problem

My apts with Dr. Thorpe are very good and efficient. I just Love her compation. But the triage nurses need to be more efficient on following through with patients needs when they call to have a procedure filled that was already approved by Lydia. And not have to have the patient call back two days later because they never called back, only to have them get pushed back further on scheduling. Not good patient care!
