True story... We are snowbirds and needed to establish a primary care physician in Florida. Scheduled an initial consult visit with Dr. Beck and afterward staff insisted I schedule a 6 month follow-up visit. I questioned the need for another visit so soon as I am a healthy 60 y.o. male with no serious underlying health issues. Was informed it was Dr. Becks policy and if I didn't need the appointment I could just call and cancel it. I didn't need the visit, called and cancelled it well in advance. A short time later I received a certified letter in the mail from Dr.Beck informing me to seek another PCP. She had dropped me from her practice after one visit stating I had violated her office policies by canceling an appointment and that I needed to take my health more seriously. Dr. Luna Beck has been the most knowledgeable, experienced, caring, dependable, patient, active listener, supportive, doctor I have known. She is serious and appreciates patients who follow her suggestions/instructions. The office staff, Robert and Susan and more are concerned, cooperative, thorough and efficient. Dr. Beck and here staff are caring and cooperative with scheduling appointments for all of our medical needs. Waiting patiently to see them is essential since we are never rushed when it is our turn. I owe my good health to them for their expertise, caring and guidance.

This office is the worst, especially the care and the integrity of the doctor. The doctor is corrupt and can’t manage legal jargon. I have medical consent towards my family member but they restricted me from access which is a HIPPA violation. Do not take your family member to this doctor if you truly care for them. The nurse Susan and the doctor are unprofessional and give their personal, NOT PROFESSIONAL OR ETHICAL, opinion which is never asked for. If I could give a negative 500 star review I would. Like many others, if I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. Beck has a horrible bedside manner, is the most condescending doctor I have ever encountered and God forbid if you ask her questions, she becomes immediately defensive. I do not personally feel she actually cares about the health and well-being of her patients at all. She even has the audacity to mutter insults to her staff about patients that they can clearly hear. If you care about your health or the health of your loved ones, please find another doctor. Worst doctor ever. She is my grandma's primary care doctor, and I've been trying to get her on the phone, but she pretty much refuses to talk to her patients. Her nurse, Susan, is also incredibly rude. She talks down to people, and acts like older patients are an inconvenience. I highly suggest finding another doctor. I’m only leaving 1 star because I cannot leave zero. She is absolutely the worst, mos unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. Her nurse is insanely unprofessional and told my sister on the phone “you’re not going to get dr. Beck on the phone, I’m the best you’re going to get.” It is very hard to actually speak with the doctor, my sister and I have left quite a few messages regarding my grandmother’s care, and have only received a call back once. The nurse is insanely in compassionate and incompetent when it comes to patients with dementia, and treating them as if their lives are t worth it. By far the most unprofessional, unreliable office I have ever encountered. Luna has the worst bedside manor and does not have her patients best interest in mind. Her staff does not follow up with patients or follow through with referrals. She should not be practicing

I am writing this on behalf of my father. This so called doctor ought to not be practicing. She refused to give my ailing dad hospice and kept making him come in every 2 weeks. Brought him for his appointment and he can’t really walk, Beck saw him coming in and went and hid. The nurse said rudely to my sister that they released him and what is he doing there? Nobody called or anything. He gets back home, calls hospice and there is no release. My sister went back and then they rudely told her that it was all a mistake and to bring him back in 3 weeks!!! She told them to release him because he will no longer be able to go in the car. They left my sister sitting forever and then rudely told her it was transferred. She came home, called hospice and guess what! No release. Hospice had to go to a board of directors and 10 minutes later it was done. My dad was suffering and they could give not a care in the world. Horrible Doctor!! Mom saw here for what she thought was a sinus infection. Had to ask her to check her ears and throat. Didn't even check her lungs. Didn't even recommend a Covid test. Turns out she had pneumonia and Covid and ended up in hospital for 3 days. Stay far away from her. Just interested in taking your insurace company money. She called to let the office know she was pos for Covid and she never even called to see how she was feeling. Nice Dr. right!? NO covering Dr. and no hospital rights. Horrible Doctor!! I give NO stars! Dr. Luna Beck diagnosed my Dad with a terminal illiness. We signed on w/transitions a volunteer svc before hospice to get help w/showers. Get to doc appt today, nurse says why are you here? You are no longer Dr Luna Becks patient, shes signed Dad into hospice. No one told us This? We go home, call real hospice, they tell me Dr Beck needs to release Dad. I go back asking for papers. Dr Beck misunderstood what Transitions is, nurse says come back in 3 weeks. I say No. You gave us NO opportunity to see how Dad is, no opportunity to help him in any way. He shouldn't even be leaving the house anymore. Nurse says they will fax over release to hospice. I dont believe that will happen. I call hospice The hospice director approved Dad, they came to the house at 5pm signed Dad up, and helped us out a great deal! What is wrong with Dr Luna Beck! why such hatred for a helpful program as hospice. I'm still in shock she dropped Dad cuz she THOUGHT he signed on with them.

We moved here 7 mos. ago and selected a PCP who was just awful and the office was a mess. A neighbor recommend Dr. Beck and we could not be more satisfied. She is thorough keeps track of referrals and tests orders and makes fu calls. Her staff is very good, Front desk Robert and Stacey are very knowledgeable and they are very helpful and do fu as well. I highly recommend her. Both my husband and I have been patients for over a year and very very pleased with her and her staff. Dr Beck is very unprofessional in my opinion caring more about her dog's than her clients. I personally would suggest finding another more professional Dr. I greatly suggest anyone looking to see this Dr read everything dealing about this Dr to be very careful and find another Doctor!!! During my appointments Dr Beck made very rude false accusations many times, wrongly withholding prior authorizations at very late timing causing rescheduling and creating dangerous helth under known stroke conditions due to unneeded medication denial against Florida state medical pratice requirments. Dr Beck also went against known insurance practice requirments again causing delayed medical needs for ambulatory equipment and every visit to the Drs office caring more for her dogs than the client. Dr Beck would even go as far as not only denying or refused to see client at the last minute without rescheduling appointment after client spent painful time setting up transportation on medicaly needed visits. Dr Beck literally and verbally strongly made accusations on false pretenses against the client causing the client unneeded stress and mental anguish. Dr Beck also would try to claim exuberant uknown charges out of client's own pocket. I am only giving 1 star because it does not allow me to give ZERO. My parents have only been seeing this physician 6 weeks. Her and her staff are very rude. They do not answer phone calls or call patients back. If my parents have questions they have to get in their cars and drive over there due to an absence in communication by this office. My mother needed a prior auth recently and she contacted Dr. Beck's office several times in advance asking for help as she is the primary physician and it needs to come from her. My parents had to drive an hour just to pick up papers and then hand carry them to Dr. Beck's office to ensure her surgery was not cancelled the next day. When my father went in to see her for a follow up she told him he has too many doctors. He is diabetic so he has an endorinologist to manage his diabetes. He has a podiatrist because he is diabetic and he see's a dermatologist for his skin cancer. He needs these doctors, they are all pertinent to his plan of care. When she visits with patients in her office she brings 3 dogs in the room. From what I am told she puts more focus on the dogs than she does her patients. My mother should not have been the one scrambling around 24 hours before her procedure to make sure Dr. Beck and her nurse did their job. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Takes plenty of time reviewing your case and mostly everything done on site. Mostly A good but wait time or excessive and she only has a conversation like a psychologist and the treatment room I wouldn't go for medical care

Sadly I agree with the bad reviews. I got a letter recently informing me that Dr. Beck would not longer treat me after about 18 months. The letter did NOT state why I was being dismissed as her patient and yet siad due to medical condition - I needed to be seen ASAP. I find this odd as -- No one would talk to me or return me calls, regarding the dismissal letter. I was told they would treat me on an emergency basis for 30 days but they then stopped taking my calls, the business manager refused to return my calls assuming they were even forwarded, and I could no longer access my patient file. As Dr. Beck signed off on this letter - it would only seem professional that she take the time to talk with me - especially since she stated I needed immediate medical attention for my condition. I was raised in a medical environment and have NEVER seen this kind of behavior from a Medical professional..... THEY CAN KEEP MY RECORDS AND I WOULD NEVER SEND ANYONE TO THEM.

Moved to Fla. 3 years ago. In the past have always had a primary care physician for over 10+ years. In the beginning she was helpful, listened, attentive to issues, helped with my pneumonia but over three years unfortunately changed. Staff changes quite frequently and were rude. When she no longer listened to our issues we decided to leave. Asked for a copy of our records and were asked to pay well over State Regulations of $1.00 for the first 25 and 25 cents for addt'l.

I have been seeing Dr Beck for almost 10 years. I have recommended her to some of my friends. I love that she is the only person you see and she always listens to what you have to say. She is willing to try alternative treatments and is very knowledgable about them. She is an animal lover as I am. She expects her staff to perform effectively and if they do not, then she deals with it as necessary. You usually don't have to wait long to see her.

It is not the doctor who is the problem, but her staff. They never return phone calls, and rarely answer the phone. . They are rude and dismissive. When I asked to speak with the office manager to voice my complaints, they refused. I spoke to the doctor several times over the years and she is not responsive to my complaints. The wait time is unreasonable.
