I can guarantee he will cancel his appointment . It is frustrating.

Dr Padula was highly recommended by a friend. He and his staff were very professional and Dr Padula did not disappoint in handling my health issue. I also highly recommend his services.

I HAD been seeing Dr Pauldula for a couple of years and I was happy but lately (a couple of years) he has canceled on me once in a while but now I have had it. I had appointment this past December. He canceled December, thenFebruary, then April and now June. Is this only me? I will not go back.

Dr. Padula is a wonderful Dr. Answered all my questions. I went in with anxiety/nervous but after speaking with him he made me feel very comfortable, relaxed and calm. I will start recommending him to friends and family.

Dr Padula seems to really listen to you and takes that into consideration.

Good experience on my first visit. Doctor Padilla was attentive to my questions and concerns.

We just left and were very satisfied with the office visit. Our appointment was at 10:20 but we got there at 10:50. On the way there I had to pull over because my husband is on oxygen and felt like he wasn’t getting enough air. When we arrived, the clerk at the first window said we might not be seen because we were late. One of the aids went to check and verify if we could still be seen( I’m assuming they asked Dr Padulla) and they were able to see us. I’m so grateful for that. Dr Padulla was very thorough and kind to us. I would also like to mention Ida, one of the receptionists up front, was professional and nice to us as well. Dr. Padula was very clear and informative in his diagnosis, and he explained everything very clearly. He was a breath of fresh air, as he took time to listen to our concerns and answer our questions. It was great to be able to speak to the actual Dr. in person, as now a days all get to see is an asst. or its done over the phone. His office staff provided exceptional customer service. I was treated with care ,great doctors.

First visit, I told him that we dont have insurance and he was very sarcastic telling me that in my world of poor not matter I was rich we couldn't afford to pay the exams that my husband need it. We are middle class but unfortunately we didn't have health insurance and no government help no matter that we are us citizens but it was not the way to told us and more in the delicate situation of my husband. We went with him because our family doctor recommend him, after my husband strock and also issues that my husband have with his heart, We are having a lot of problems right know with the situation of my husband, our life change completely and on top a dr that laugh about our financial situation. He told us that he will be helping us but instead we waste our time.

First time here, the doctor didn't know any background info on my mother and when she asked him to read results he said he "didn't have time to be reading results". He was rushing her, interrupting her, and pressuring her to hurry up. We have a follow up soon but we will probably try to find another cardiologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Padula for 6 years. I am very happy to have such a fine cardiologist. I had triple bypass surgery 6 years ago and Dr. Padula has taken excellent care of me since then. I also like his personal touch of friendliness. Thank you so much Dr. Padula!

My first visit with Dr. Padua was a very positive experience. We discussed my history. He wanted to know more about my history in order to treat any health issues I have at this time. Tests were ordered and another appointment made to go over results. We will then make any changes to my heart health he and I feels necessary.

Dr Luis Padula is an excellent doctor; I highly recommend him, words to describe him: no big ego, gentle, caring, is very courteous/ respectful (as is his staff), listens carefully to my symptoms/situation, explains things thoroughly easy to understand, not pushy demanding, no scare tactics, allows my participation in decisions on direction treatment will go, uses common sense from years of experience of what works best, makes you feel at home/ comfortable/at ease from the start.Wait time short.

He has been constantly rescheduling my appointments, and the next available is until for the following months.

Dr Padula is the best Dr. I have visited in years. He sincerely cares about his patients. Takes time to explain things and you never feel like you are just a number. He treats you like family and listens to you. He is well educated, personable, and a genuine doctor in every sense of word. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a cardiologist.

I am very happy and satisfied with Dr. Padula. He was there for me when I was sick and he honestly saved my life in the hospital. I am happy with the services he has provided for me in his office. Dr. Padula in my opinion is an excellent physician he took his time with me explaining to me the things to be expected after my bypass surgery etc. I've recommended him to other friends of mine and they felt very comfortable with him. I'm extremely happy because he's associated with the VA as well as McAllen Heart Hospital. To all my fellow veterans if you have any type of heart conditions I highly recommend Dr. Padula and McAllen Heart Hospital.

This guy is absolutely the worst person and doctor I have ever dealt with. Mr. Padula has obviously not been able to assimilate here in the United States, he thinks he's attitude and condescending attitude is acceptable. I'm a 21 year veteran and this is by far the worst treatment I've had to endure. Made me wait over three hours and when I offered a suggestion he told I could take my business elsewhere if I didn't like how things were done there. Absolutely disgusting, rude and unprofessional

This Dr. kept acting like he was too busy to explain anything to us. Thank god for the nurses or we wouldn't have know what was happening. He kept telling us that he didn't have time for questions. We just ended up with him because it was an emergency

This guy is the most unsympathetic doctor I ever meet. Every time he came to check on the patient he kept saying he was too busy and didn't have time to answer questions. Thank god for the nurses that took the time to explain the situation to us. If you are looking for a doctor that will actually inform you of the situation so you can make an informed decision of your procedure, look somewhere else. We just ended up with him because it was an emergency.
