Dr. Matta is so caring and thorough. I always trust his medical advice and the care he provides to myself and my family. I wish he could be my primary care Dr! He's definitely my first choice for an urgent appt and/or sick appt. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Matta is marvelous! I wish he could be my primary care physician. SO much better than going to St. Tammany Hospital emergency room!

It was quick, convenient. Dr Matta knew what to do, how to get it done and I he kept me out of the hospital and alive to tell another tale or two.

My family has visited Dr. Matta at urgent care several times over the years. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. The staff at his office is also kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

Saw Dr Matta regarding URI. He was very thorough with a complete physical assessment. His plan of care was so appropriate and I feel better already. He was very knowledgeable about medication coverage issues and was very up front with me. I have seen Dr Matta several times in the past and have complete confidence in his medical expertise. Infection control and patient safety practices assured that his patients were safely taken care of. His staff also is great.

He is highly recommended by every member of my family. I’m so thankful we found him at that urgent care. There is now one closer to our home but, I will drive the extra 5 minutes to see Dr. Matta.

Yesterday was the third time I've gone to Tchefunte Urgent Care over the years and I was so happy that Dr. Matta was still there. Every time I've been to see him either for myself or my children, he's ALWAYS put my mind at ease. He has a very calm and sincere way of reassuring you that you're in good hands and that everything is going to be okay. He always listens carefully & takes the time to explain everything in detail. His top-notch staff are very caring & professional as well.

We have used Dr. Matta's services several times over the years. His work ethic is off the charts.....ALWAYS there!!! The wait time to get in is never frustrating and the empathy and time explaining and examining better than one gets from any other doctors, in our experience. As a community, we are are blessed to have him.

Dr. Matta is excellent; I prefer him to my internist as he is not only patient, but knowledgeable and answers all my questions. He practices at Tchefuncta Urgent Care In Covington, LA, which is a walk-in clinic only as they do not take appointments.
