Wonderful DR. Saved my life as I had stage 3 diffuse B Cell NHL 12 years ago.
You are just a number. They dropped the ball on my husbands transplant.
He is an excellent doctor and a great human being. He has saved my life twice. I went through BMT under his guidance. He made my journey for two years very smooth. I appreciate lal that he has done for me. My family has survived. Thanks to Dr. Isola.
When you are first admitted in the oncology team At Mount Sinai (including Dr.Isola) they will treat you well, until they have stripped your pockets/insurance and you are now a dying guinea pig from all the errors they have made, they will not look your way. He became dismissive, uncaring and incompaasionant. Sad but true. Stay away!
Dr Isola did home visits for my patient, he is an excellent Dr. , with wonderful bedside manners, the office staff excellent, prompt call backs and followups.
I owe Dr. Isola my life and survival. In 2007 I underwent stem-cell transplant under his management to treat my 2nd relapse of hodgkin lymphoma. Dr. Isola is very knowledgeable, smart, and professional, and he is also one of the nicest and warmest people I know. The first time I came for a visit he did a bone marrow biopsy on me - not the most pleasant procedure. I'm not very tolerant to pain, so I was scared. He made the whole thing very quick and easy. His bedtime manners are exceptional. The only thing I wish could be improved is the waiting time during visit. This is something I can live with tho'
