Dr. Chamorro performed two root canals on me. He's timely, professional, excellent bedside manners, and explained the entire procedure to me throughout. I highly recommend him!

First, I want to start by saying I am not a huge fan of dental procedures. I walked into this office a bit nervous and scared. However, starting from reception (Maria & Barbara) down to the procedure performed by Dr. Luis Chamorro, I can honestly say this was probably one of my best experiences ever. I visited Dr. Chamorro's office about an issue I was having and couldn't quite figure out. First off I want to say the office was super quick about getting me scheduled and paperwork done. The ladies in reception and the dental assistant Agnas were all very pleasant and nice to me. Dr. Chamorro was thorough in his examination and I am thankful for that. He performed a CT scan on my teeth which helped find some underlying issues. I didn't have to have a procedure done at his office at this time but his office was able to send my report to my dentist. I decided to go to this place based on the 5 reviews they have and coverage with the insurance, but my experience has been very unpleasant. Glad i dont started a treatment, i cant imagine what if i would have. Since the moment i called to make the first consultation, the lady (Maria) which is so far considered a person in need of customer service training, told me i had to pay almost 300$, i told her this was a similar price i got from other place without insurance coverage, she mentioned she had almost 15 years of experience and she completely know about market rates (suggesting i was lying) i even told her the name of the provider and she said she worked there, i asked her to explain me exactly what i would be paying for the first consultation, she mentioned root canal and visit, i asked her why she was charging for it if i dont even know if i needed it. Was just a CONSULTATION. So she said , ok is just 20$ I went to the visit and Dr. Chamorro checked 1 tooth, he confirmed i didn't need root canal and i would have to go back to the dentist, since this was very quick i told him: i know you only check 1 tooth, but i would like to ask you quickly if you can give a quick look in other and tell me what do you think? he said yes and they checked in another 5 minutes. When i went to pay the lady (Maria) asked me to pay 96$, i highly surprised asked her why, and she said, because the doctor checked 2 teeth, and we started a discussion where i told her they have to be clear before doing something that has an additional cost, they cant assume the people has the money to pay. She went inside to talk with the doctor and she came back saying , he approved dont charge the first 20$ so just pay $76. I HAD to PAY , just because the doctor was not able to be clear and before checking my other tooth say: this will cost you 76$ more. do you want to proceed or not? Yesterday i received a bill from the place, saying a had a remaining balance of 15.20$ I called to the place and now Maria says is because the second tooth, SERIOUSLY?? and i told her come one, remember we had a discussion there and you talked to the doctor and you came to me saying ok dont pay for the first one! She said today NO i didn't say that. I called her liar and i was not going to allow more that game, she ended the call. I have nothing else to say, this lady is a liar, is out of everything called honestly, customer service and respect. What for 15 years of experience if you are not an honest person? Barbara the other lady of the front desk was there and she can testify how was the conversation. More than how good is the professional, is how the service is. If you like being treated poorly - this is the place for you! I went to see him for a root canal. They filled me up with Novocain but my tooth wouldn't get numb. The assistant kept sticking something cold on it to test which was painful. She must have done that 25 times. After an hour of being given painful shot after painful shot, he decided to start drilling! My tooth is still sensitive and his answer is to drill? WHO DOES THIS? About three minutes in, I couldn't take it. He then proceeded to scold me for not taking 4 Advil prior to coming to the appointment - even though he never told me to do that. He said I'd have to come back when they had another appointment and try again. I left with a hole in my tooth, torn up gums from all the shots and the dental dam they put on my tooth and an even more painful tooth. The assistants weren't very nice. They didn't explain anything and seemed angry that I wouldn't get numb. I called my dentist and explained what happened. He called in a prescription for an antibiotic because I likely had an infection that was keeping the tooth from being numb and referred me to another doctor to do my root canal. I'm certain after my dentist heard about my experience here, he won't be referring any of his patients there again. If you like being treated poorly - this is the place for you! I had an emergency visit and root canal with Dr Chamorro today. I was in pain and uptight to say the least. I want to send a heartfelt thank you to the Dr. and his staff. I was put at ease and the process was painless!

I went to this doctor. first of all when i talk to Barbara who is secretory she gave me wrong information. for appointment email i have to remind her. in addition to that i had two tooth problem and i talk to her and she said doctor charge separate fee for each tooth consultation. which i said ok. when i went there doctor show me and i requested to check my other tooth since i had a hard time getting appointment and i also said i will pay the fee but doctor strictly said i don't have time. i felt very rude doctor. If Barbara have told me that doctor will not check your other tooth because he does not have time then i would not have even gone because i really needed to check both tooth since both were hurting. also I asked her to check with doctor for my both tooth before my visit but she refused and said without looking to you we cannot give you this answer. so i really feel it is money making business, please be aware and stay away from this kind of doctor.

He's simply the best

Was referred to him by my general dentist. Excellent care from beginning to end. Very professional and caring. Took the anxiety and fear out of visiting an endocrinologist for root canal procedure.

I'm a dentist and have been working with Dr. Chamorro for over 15 years and have had work done by him for myself. Excellent doctor and phenominal clinical work. Highest level of integrity and honesty with all of his patients and work.

Dr. Chamorro has an excellent bedside manner and his staff is friendly. I have great anxiety about going to the dentist; I was seeing him for a root canal. He explained everything he was doing every step of the way and made sure I was at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Chamorro.

Dr Chamorro was wonderful. I have such anxiety when it comes to dental work (I had major complications with my wisdom teeth years ago). He was SO patient with me and answered all of my questions before my root canal to be sure I was as comfortable with the procedure as could be. During the root canal, he was great at keeping me at ease by letting me know how things were going. Recovery was much better than I had expected too. Dr Chamorro was wonderful. I have such anxiety when it comes to dental work (I had major complications with my wisdom teeth years ago). He was SO patient with me and answered all of my questions before my root canal to be sure I was as comfortable with the procedure as could be. During the root canal, he was great at keeping me at ease by letting me know how things were going. Recovery was much better than I had expected too. I would highly recommend Dr Chamorro and his staff!

I had never had a root canal prior to my visit. Dr. Chamorro put me a complete ease. His office staff were very friendly and courteous, and I would highly recommend him to friend and family.I would really like to commend Sonya for helping me when I called yesterday. She looked into my insurance so I would know a round about figure of what I would owe. Thank you!!!
