I have been a Patient of Dr.Gilling for over 17 years she take time to go over your labs result with you ,answer any question you have in reference to you health or care. thank you Dr.Gilling for all of your service. Also thank you to the Amazing office Staff.

I have been seeing Dr Gilling for at least 6 years. She takes her time, explains everything that is asked. She takes feedback and is a true professional. She is an amazing Doctor. Her staff is professional and friendly. Very glad to be one of her patients.

Dr. Gilling’s has been my endocrinologist for over 10 yrs. She’s always patient and carefully reviews all my lab work. She has never made me feel like she was in a rush. Instead, she makes sure I have a complete understanding of what’s going on with my health. I have referred several people to her and everyone has been completely satisfied.

Dr Gillings is an excellent doctor who is very thorough and professional.

Molly at the doctors office is so incredibly rude and unprofessional. I waited months to see dr and calls me the day before to bring in previous records when this was never mentioned when making the appointment. Only 1 star because you have to give it something in order to leave a review, not worth the 1 star. Unprofessional office staff. Appt was made months in advance and forthe office person to first call you honey, and then state you had to be there 30mins earlier when no such thing was said at time of appt scheduling. Then the dr wouldn’t see the patient. Highly doubt this dr is worth 2 cents!!! You know what they a drink is only as good as their office staff.. Incredible physician! She is professional & poise. Provides detail descriptions of medical issues, diagnosis & treatment.She is very thorough in needed exams. Included my family in care.

All patients are supposed to know who is treating them, right? Dr. Gilling's office staff calls Christina a nurse. In fact, she is no nurse at all. Even some websites list her as a provider, which is really not cool! She has no medical / nursing related license in the state of Florida and would actually be called a MA (medical assistant). My problem and my getting into all of this is because of her horrible people skills and abusive manner. My visit today started without any screening questions. My weight, BP and pulse were taken without much interaction at all. Then, I was asked if I had any bouts of infection since my last visit. My direct answer to the MA was that I had been exposed to Covid, but not diagnosed in March 2020 upon traveling. Without words, the MA slammed the office chair into the wall and slammed the mouse on the desk table before storming out of the patient room. I wondered if I should walk out or wait in hopes of talking sensibly to Dr. Gilling, but naturally as the person I am, I ended up patiently waiting to talk with her. Dr. Gilling once again (previous encounter with MA) did not take this behavior serious. I have concluded that the whole practice is incompetent, and the rude obnoxious behavior is the standard at Diabetes Alliance of Tampa Bay. Shame on them for routinely putting everyone at risk, for there was no Covid 19 screening measures like the other medical offices that I have visited. They did not even check temperatures or ask of recent exposure in the last 2 weeks (which is standard). I also did not view any hand washing or wiping down the office space. What is the Dr. and her uneducated staff thinking? Not only are they putting themselves at risk by working in the healthcare field and from being in close proximity to the silent patients or asymptomatic patients, but they are also putting their high risk diabetic patients at risk by not having any kind of screening tool used at the office or by telephone previous to the appointment. Shame on them for allowing this substandard practice during our pandemic crisis in Florida. A patient would think that a medical doctor would understand a past infection verses a current infection, especially with 4 months time span. This situation was a true test of knowledge, which disappoints me. Why haven't you come up with screening before people come to your office? I was not comfortable with the lack of care from the very start. I had written out my health information to limit the time talking at the doctor's office, wore a mask and did not touch anything in the office. What did I get out of my visit? Nothing but humiliation for being thoughtful. The visit should not be billable to me or to my insurance company. Prevention is key; don't ask someone about possible Covid 19 exposure after your staff and your immunocompromised (at risk) patients have already been exposed. I am done with taking the abusive treatment from your staff. My trust and faith are gone, so I am finding another endocrinologist. This is honestly my worst experience as a patient. As a professional nurse and as a fellow human being, I would never treat anyone like your staff. I became a nurse for the love of science and for the love of helping people. People need kindness and tolerance, not hatred and meanness, especially during these hard times. You must condone your staff's behavior since nothing has ever been done about it. Goodbye.

Love this doctor. She listens and spends the time needed to cover everything and make sure she understands what is going on with you. Very professional, thorough and I highly recommend her.

I had thyroid cancer in 2008 and have visited Dr. Gilling twice a year since then. She takes her time - and really listens - and looks at the whole patient. I think she is an excellent doctor.

Dr Gilling is the best. she spent alot of time with me on the first appt questioning me, trying to help me get my blood sugar under control. her advice was spot on. I highly recommend her.

Always takes time to explain things. Excellent staff and service.

I felt very comfortable with the Doctor and felt like she cared about what was going on. I find her front office to be very short and sometimes rude. This causes people to leave bad reviews against the doctor.

Dr. Gilling would benefit from a professional practice manager. She seems very capable, but her PA and staff are very unprofessional. Tried to move an appointment because I have been sick and couldn’t get labs done. Next available is in 3 months? Certainly not a user friendly practice, and certainly not a place I wNt to be seen.

I can't comment directly on the expertise or level of care provided by Dr. Gilling, but based on my experience with her staff, hopefully she's a much better practitioner than business owner. I tried calling 5 times over a 2 hour period the day of my appointment and could never get ahold of anyone. A large part of the reason for the calls is that I couldn't find the office, as their address information is out of date in Google maps and there was conflicting information online. I ran 8 minutes late to the appointment because of this address confusion. Once I arrived, I waited approximately 45 minutes before being told I couldn't be seen. They offered me a later appointment, but I had to get back to duty. The staff's only excuse for the lack of communication that led to all this was "phone issues," but they never accepted responsibility or took ownership of the problem. Instead, the staff had an adverserial tone and chastised me for not arriving early. Arriving late isn't something I regularly do. I left my house, which is an hour away from Dr. Gilling's office, an hour and a half before my appointment time. Had their information been correct, or someone answered the phone, I would've arrived plenty early. I've also got a slew of inexplicable health problems (gout, uncontrollably high triglycerides, and a heart attack all at the age of 31) that I was looking forward to being treated for. Instead, thanks to the rude and incompetent staff at Dr. Gilling's office, I'll have to take another day away from work and wait another month before getting to see someone else. I have been going to Dr Gilling for many years & never had a problem even referred many people she takes her time and listens to you answers all your questions and helps you understand however one recent issue with the office. I had an appt and called and said I had went to the wrong office & was going to be like 3-5 minutes late but the office staff told me i had to reschedule now generally i would understand since i was running late however when I went to my rescheduled appt I sat for 20 minutes waiting to be seen I felt that was very inconsiderate of my time. Dr Gillian is a wonderful doctor, however her staff (especially in billing) is RUDE and makes you feel that "you're" a bother when calling in asking questions. Last person I spoke with at her office in billing was Michelle and she was so RUDE.. I felt like hanging up.

Dr. Gilling's office sent the wrong prescription to the pharmacy where I had to go get my refill. I am glad I noticed. I have no trust anymore in continuing to go to this office.

This was my first visit and definitely my last - the staff was impolite and demanded payment after my visit which I refused to pay since I only have a copay! The office charged my insurance over $750!!!

I went to Dr. Gilling based on a recommendation from other with adrenal issues like mine. She spent 30 minutes with me taking my history, then told me she thinks it was a previous issue that had been resolved, ordered labs and passed me to her PA who told me my labs were off but "not off enough" and went back to my other health issues to lay blame there. Told me to choose surgery or else they can't help me. I was not a candidate for surgery. Never returned my calls, followed up or offered help.

Dr. Gilling regularly refuses to allow her patients to see her, rather, she routinely passes us on to her PA who as I was told "has all the qualifications of Dr. Gilling but just doesn't didn't go to medical school and chose to stay home and have a family" WHAT????!!!! I was to be newly diagnosed and to treated for diabetes by a PA. I was not comfortable with that at all. If you don't mind being treated by an unqualified assistant to the physician, book your "Doctor's" appointment now.

Dr. Gilling constantly pushes patients off to her PA but charges for a regular doctor visit. If I am paying for a doctor visit, I'd like to see a doctor (like someone who went to med school), especially when I only see my "doctor" once a year. The front desk people are HORRIBLE! A PA is NOT a doctor, sorry.

Lousy patient support- no one answers the phone or return voice mail. They forget to provide patient with necessary lab request until the 11th hour

Awesome doc.Spends time with her patients, explains findings and actually listens to her patients concerns.

Dr. Gilling was excellent but I only saw her once (the second visit was with an ARNP) The office staff was not helpful at all and I had to return to my previous endo who is an hour away for treatment but at least I was able to get my labs and be treated for the symptoms that I had. In the meantime I experienced other complications because the staff would was not receptive to my concerns.

Dr. Gilling and her associate Joanna P. Gonzalez, PA-C may have saved my life. During scheduled office visit things started going wrong. Dr. Gilling ordered an ambulance transport me to Florida Hospital at Wesley Chapel. The Paramedics disagreed with her decision, and were quite vocal about it. Upon arriving at the ER my heart was thoroughly checked, blood pressure monitored, blood work and more blood work. This was not going well. Had I refused the ambulance I would have shown no confidence.

I met with Dr. Gilling today for the first time and she was by far the most attentive and considerate Dr. I've ever met. She was truly listening to everything that I said and made me feel extremely comfortable. She may not be able to treat for my condition but I have confidence that she will try to get me on the right track with the right specialty. She is very personable, knowledgeable and most of all - honest. Great physician!

Absolutely refused to even try to treat me for a chronic worsening condition I've had my entire life. Did not look at the more than abundant research I've spent years doing. Have been misdiagnosed for at least 17 years and this, once again, is yet another highly regarded specialist who after listening to 30 years of worsening and bizarre symptoms of a certain particular condition, flat out refused to treat me. Should instead spend all my time and money being tested on. Not recommended.

Not as knowledable as we had hoped. My husband was in search of a new Endocrinologist. He has Hashimoto's and a large nodule. Dr. Gilling wasn't listening, she went too fast, wouldn't look at me when I asked her a question. We have done a lot of research regarding his condition, and have educated ourselves quit a bit. She made us feel as if we knew nothing at all. Also since my husband shows signs of adrenal fatique, we asked about getting tested. The doctor didn't feel the need. Not Happy

The Dr. from ym experience is another endocrinologist who treats by lab numbers rather then by symptoms as well as all as one instead of individually. When I mentioned a lot of my symptoms she seemed puzzled as to why I am having them even though my lab numbers are normal. I don't understand what these doctors get taught, but I highly suggest them to read the book Stop the Thyroid Madness 2 which is written by a team of doctors and provides the information that they should be going by.

Dr Gilling is one of the most brilliant physicians around. She knows her stuff! She has literally given me my life back. It is obvious that she loves endocrine medicine and that she finds pleasure knowing that the she helps her patients. I highly recommend Dt.Gilling.
