Wow Dr. Jacomides is impressive. Wonderful bedside manner and a great surgeon. Thank you for excellent care.

Great practice. Pleased with all aspects of my visits. Just got my bill and statement for recent visits. It was detailed, easy to follow and accurate!

Haven't seen the doctor yet but, his front desk employee was the most nicest, friendliest, informative, and helpful that I've ever encountered with all my experiences dealing with doctors offices.

Dr Jacomides listens, questions, then offers a solution to what’s brought you to his office. He explained his diagnosis and why he chose the remedy, all the time making you feel comfortable, part of his decision, and then leaving wishing he was your best bud. In as scheduled, and out quickly, and a day and 1/2 later feeling good.

I can't rave enough about Greater Austin Urology. I absolutely adore Stacey. She is an amazing nurse and soooo friendly in the phone (she must be Midwestern, like me). Benny was also so nice when I had my first appointment. And finally, Dr. Jacomides is great. He's professional, explains everything in great detail, and makes sure you're very informed. I have had him do two button turp surgeries on me. Both had successful outcomes with no complications. The reason for not giving a 5 star is due to the coordination between them and the hospital. Office staff told me all hospital registration info would be taken care of on the day of the surgery. I was proactive and contacted the hospital to find that I needed to start that process a week ahead. In Jacomides office staff defense, they say that was the hospital's instructions. However I knew better and so should they. Hospital required me to have blood work and an EKG done and of course lots of paperwork. Had me to purchase some items to be used the day BEFORE surgery.

Receptionist needs to improve on her customer service skills!

A patient for 3 years, I echo the comments from Paul Hardin and Leo C. Dr. Jacomides and his staff practice medicine like it was about a patient, not a business - imagine that! Always professional, sincerely concerned about my health, and very cost conscious.

I am so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Jacomides! I was nervous going in because I was currently trying to pass a large 10mm kidney stone that was stuck in my ureter near my bladder. What made it tricky to go forward with options for stone removal was that I was also pregnant. I felt like I had no hope. BUT, after talking with Dr. Jacomides, he went through all the options with me and he really listened to what I was feeling. He is extremely knowledgeable and let me know what he thought but also listened to what I wanted. I felt comforted that he knew what he was doing and wanted the best for me but also for my baby. The stent placement couldn’t have gone smoother, and I would have been satisfied and comforted just knowing I was going to be taken care of....but, miraculously the stone came out on its own a week and a half later! Stent removal was a breeze and I have never felt better. I couldn’t have done gone through this without him, as he offered his pleasant humor to ease the process. I also wanted to mention his AMAZING Office Manager/RN, Stacey Hardt who gave me a great experience because of her hospitality and good-nature...she is just an all-around pleasant person! Thank you all for your positivity and helping me through what could have been a rough pregnancy...I can now enjoy!!! I would recommend Greater Urology Austin to anyone. Absolute first class and worthy of 5 stars. We start with Stacey who is the office manager and administrator. Its extremely rare to find someone working in the field who is as helpful and downright pleasant as Stacey is. She is very warm and welcoming whilst being equally efficient. This sets the tone for your appointment and also makes all follow ups / coordination so very easy. Dr. Jacomides, as you may imagine is no different. He's extremely knowledgeable and equally friendly / easy to chat with. He patiently yet actively listens to everything that you have to say, asks for additional information if required then provides you with his assessment. Its a bit of a drive for me and I can gladly say its worth every minute spent commuting to deal with Dr. Jacomides and his team. I followed Dr. Jacomidas from a large health care system to his private practice, as I have been really pleased with the quality of care and the time he spends discussing your issue(s) and the plan of care to address the issue. I highly recommend him. When I went to write this review, unsolicited by the way, I noticed the 1 star review, due to a receptionist, that probably isn't even in his office. Very unfair to rate this physician based upon that. He should have all 5 stars, and you'll agree once you go see him. Dr. Jacomides performed a Vasectomy on me. In short, I’ll just say this, I’m a high anxiety hard to deal with patient. Not only did he perform his duties masterfully, his team was patient with me during the post op recovery. Thank you three for taking care of me. Continued success.

Dr. Jacomides has been saving my life for several years ever since I was diagnosed with bladder cancer (the gift that keeps on giving). He is an exceptional urologist in whom I have placed my total trust to keep me above room temperature. A good guy who listens to your point of view and then works with you to do what has to be done. Cannot even imagine this bladder/kidney challenge without his help.
