Luca Stocchi

Dr. Luca Stocchi is knowledgeable and very caring doctor. You can feel his sincerity and his dedication to his medical practice. He is also very humble and down to earth. You will be at ease to ask just about anything and more in related to his medical expertise. Many doctors have already given up on me but I was very lucky that Dr. Stocchi took a chance on me. The Small Bowel Obstruction surgery has made me survive the long agonizing pains I have suffered for almost 2 years. I was able recover soon and regained my life back. I very grateful to him and of course to our Lord God.

I was extremely concerned about my Colorectal appt today. Mayo has a very efficient way of getting patients in to see the doctors So when a young woman came in to examine me I was again concerned that perhaps I wasn’t going to get to see the Doctor. Well this PA, Darlyn, was her name, was excellent in questioning and answering my questions, as well as the initial physical exam. I felt very comfortable with her. And when Dr Stocchi came to do a follow up exam, I could not have been more pleased with his kind and caring manner, and thoroughness. It seemed obvious that he was experienced and wise. This was just my initial visit but I can assure you that I will be pleased to come back to him after I do my follow ups. He could not have pleased me more!

I had colorectal surgery in June at Mayo in Jacksonville. I feel that Dr. Stocchi absolutely gave me my life back. I had suffered with diverticulitis and IBS symptoms for years. I was blown off by a GI doctor that I had been using. I took myself to Mayo and that is the best decision that I ever made. I woke up from surgery actually looking and feeling so much better. I would highly recommend Dr. Stocchi to anyone. He and his staff were very caring and took such good care of me. I honestly feel that if I had not gone to Mayo, I would have been in a very dark place with my health. Thank you again Dr. Stocchi. I appreciate your kindness and concern for me.

I ended up having a surgery I could not avoid if I wanted to live. Dr. Stocchi and his team were great during all my visits and throughout the surgical process. He and his staff are amazing at what they do. I travel far to visit his office because I've put so much trust in him. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Stocchi and his staff are extraordinary caregivers. They provided me with the best possible medical attention I could have hoped for during my Crohn's-related health challenges. I consider myself to be so fortunate that I found myself in his care, and congratulate anyone who has similarly found their way to his practice.

Post surgery visits were coded wrong, therefore the insurance would not pay the bills at all. The hospital was not willing to change the code even after multiple attempts. I ended up on a collection agency. Nursing staff working for the doctor did not reply post surgery to multiple questions directed to the doctor. Cleveland Clinic should revise codes for procedures and work with insurance companies to adequately provide support for preventive care (i.e. colonoscopy) for patients w/o colon

My husband had both a hemhorroidectomy and colonoscopy by Dr. Stocchi and hasn't been able to sit down since. My husband is in horrific pain especially when he sits or lays down. I don't know what happened during the procedures, but Stocchi is arrogant when asked about it and commented it "was merely a coincidence." I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stocchi is fantastic. He is professional, knowledgeable, personable, and up to date on current research and treatments, which is what has saved me from having major surgery two times. I would recommend him to anyone struggling with bowel issues possibly requiring invasive procedures.
