Had a fistula after ours under anesthesia she could not do it. Second try she said she had plan B incase plan A didn't work. After over 4 hours on operation bed under anesthesia-- when I woke up she failed.

I highly recommend Dr. Santiago! She was very patient and caring and took the time to listen to my needs as a patient. Her staff was great as well and it was easy and efficient to work with her office. I so appreciate her help. She was amazing. Thank you Dr. Santiago!

Had an appointment scheduled for 3/16 . Got a call that the Dr. wanted to see me sooner. This doesn’t even deserve one star as after a 3 hr wait I never saw the doctor. No one came into the examination room to inform me of the Dr.’s status. Needless to say, I just left. Called and made another appointment. Was scheduled for 3/19. Three days before this appointment I get a call informing me they don’t accept my insurance. I inquired why didn’t they tell me. Didn’t get a satisfactory answer. Completely unacceptable!!

I’ve been going to Dr Santiago since 2008. She is caring and a wonderful and very efficient surgeon. I’ve also recommended many friends and coworkers to her practice and they all agree that Dr Santiago is the Best!!

She changed my life with the colectomy surgery and walk me through the procedure (before and after) she treated me like a family member of hers. After 3 years I moved from Florida and she still answers me any discomfort that I have. She is a humanbeing and she treats you as such and she gaves all the attention that she deserves a patient. I'm so happy with everything and fully recommend her. Thank you so much Dr. Santiago, Please never change.

Dr Santiago is the best in the biz. She is the ONLY one I've been able to see who even understands what I'm trying to say about my symptoms. She is careful not to jump straight to an extreme treatment, but she also isn't scared to prescribe what WORKS instead of trying the same worthless medication repeatedly like everyone else.

What an amazing doctor and staff. Very caring! She has treated me for things my primary completely missed. Vary grateful for her and her staff. Amazing doctor and person who makes a difference in the community.

Dr. Lordes is the kindest, sweetest, most caring Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of not only meeting and working in the ER at Morton Plant ER 1 but also as her patient. She was my mother’s doctor with an advanced case of rectal cancer and ... now that I’m 50 ... she was the only one I would consider for my screening colonoscopy! Very caring and professional. Yes, you are often there a little longer than you would expect but that’s because she NEVER rushes anyone. One of the most personable doctors I’ve ever met. She will answer every single question you ask and make sure that you feel the care and support for whatever your issue is. This is why it takes a while when you go but I assure you, the care you receive is well worth the wait!

I've had three appointments with Dr. Santiago all within the past six weeks. She was very nice and personable however her time management skills need improvement; I waited anywhere from 1 - 2 hours for all three of my appointments which is unacceptable. I'm not retired and I don't have time to waste waiting for the doctor to meet with me for five minutes, ten minutes tops. Please stop overbooking patients.

Was scheduled for an elective procedure at 11:15 AM at Bellair Surgery Center and did not get taken to the procedure room until 3:15 PM! There was no explanation by the physician nor any staff members! When inquired about the delay, all members from secretary at front desk to the attending anesthesiologist - all said that is how the physician scheduled her case! In my opinion, that is very unprofessional, inconsiderate and cruel. This type of delay should never happened at an outpatient facility

I would like to thank you soo much to Dr. Santiago and her amazing staff at her office and over at st Pete general hospital for taking care of my hernia. Surgery went well, great experience and recovery went great. I can’t thank her enough. Now I will be able to join the army and live my dreams of being a service member !

Does not show compassion, very cold person,does not come too see you before surgery in case you have questions . Talks to you like you are a dog, very unprofessional,

Went for a very routine second opinion on a fissure. Was assured my insurance covered this very routine visit. After waiting an hour past my scheduled appointment time, the doctor finally saw me. She looked at me for 5 mins, told me what I already knew, and prescribed me medicine that I was told by another doctor is not a normal treatment. A week later I get a bill for $250 after insurance. Unless you want to pay exorbitant amounts for terrible nonexistant service, avoid this office at all cost

I had to have a hemorrhoidectomy. Dr Santiago made it a better experience than it should have been. She advised that I try other treatment first to avoid surgery at my age. It was clear that she had my best interest in mind instead of going straight to surgery. She makes you feel so comfortable through the entire experience.

Extremely professional and thorough. She is a wonderful Doctor with outstanding bedside manner. Really takes time to listen to the patient. She is always quick to follow-up and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I was in a lot of pain and unsure what was happening with my body. I went to 3 different doctors and I was getting frustrated when I was referred to Dr. Santiago. She saw me pretty quickly and was so warm and informative. She explained that I had a fistula and an abscess, which needed surgery. She performed a colonoscopy, I did a blood test, and she performed the surgery that same week as our initial visit. She is an exceptional doctor, I feel blessed to have seen her.
