Dr. Louis J. Ziegler

I am currently a D1 athlete and I had some seriously tight muscle in my upper shoulder region that I was unable relax. Dr. Ziegler was able to help release the muscle using various techniques(ex. dry needling). Additionally I like to ask a lot of questions and Dr. Ziegler was very kind and would explain thoughtfully and in detailed. Lastly the staffing is very kind and helpful in assisting me scheduling appointments around my chaotic academic and athletic schedule.

Dr. Z is great! I have been coming for various issues for almost 10 yrs. He was the only doc that suggested to forego surgery and only use as a last resort, dealing with disc issues. I always trust his recommendations and feel he has my best interest in mind, much more than I can say than the “let’s schedule surgery” on the first visit type of docs. I would highly recommend checking out his practice. -happy long term customer

I highly recommend this medical practice to anyone who is looking for acupuncture and chiropractic services. I have being seeing Dr Ziegler for 3 months for pain in my shoulder, neck, and Jaw (related to TMJ). I have truly never felt better. I’ve been going to Adv Health Center for chiro neck treatments from Dr. Z for many years. I haven’t had any neck pain in a long time because of that treatment. Recently, I started having a new pain that I couldn’t seem to fix with exercise or healthful eating. I told Dr. Z about it and he able to determine what was causing the pain right away. After just a few weeks of treatment, which includes the acupuncture that Dr. Z administers himself, the pain has been reduced significantly. Its a one-stop-shop of sorts for chiro care. Also, Dr. Z is so caring. He takes the time to chat with you about how you’re feeling and never rushes through the care. He’s funny, too! This clinic is great! I've been using it for chiropractic treatment and I'm excited for them to add a primary care physician. They are very attentive and available, never have long waits, and take the extra steps to make you feel comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Dr. Z is a wonderful practitioner. Acupuncture and chiro has done wonders for my arthritic neck. He is warm and personable as well as a solid pro at his specialty. Front desk staff are kind and efficient. Highly recommend!

Stay away! I came few years to "Doctor" Ziegler with a broken L3, he said "all I need is to come 3 times a week 8 weeks and he will make me like new" meanwhile with a broken spine he treated me on a rolling bed and other practices that made it even worse. My husband and I have been patients of Advanced Health Center for years. My treatment of choice has always been acupuncture. However I broke my tibial plateau six weeks ago and felt that the PT I was receiving was not consistent with my timetable. I called Dr. Ziegler and Dr. Yoon and one session of acupuncture, dry needling, ultrasound, and other therapies,my range of motion was vastly better and I felt that the open communication and the alternative therapies was better suited for my needs. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Z this past Wednesday, and had a follow today. He was very amicable, knowledgeable, and most importantly, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in me as a patient and my concerns. I immediately felt comfortable during my initial appointment, he’s charismatic and funny. He was honest with me about the condition of my back, and what the next steps would be. I had X-rays performed yesterday, and was able to follow up so quickly and get my treatment started. Seeing a chiropractor isn't like seeing a general practitioner because you have a tickle in your throat. Back and spine problems can be chronic -requiring multiple visits. Before long, many chiropractic offices feel like you're just part of a continual loop of visits. You will NOT feel like you're on an assembly belt with Dr. Ziegler. He's sincerely invested in my outcomes. His primary course is not a paint-by-numbers approach, but to find how he can bring relief. Advanced Health Center. What can I say about it? That it is the best. I am an Army Veteran who have suffered with back/lower back problems for years. I have been to chiropractors and none have shared with me the real reason why I was having back pain until I scheduled an appointment at the Advance Health Center. The staff is very professional, courteous and when it comes to booking appointments with Advance Health they will try and get you in to see a doctor as soon as they can. I called in during the Covid-19 pandemic because of a lower back injury that happened while serving with the military. 4 YEAR UPDATE After seeing three neurologists and a doctor of internal medicine, as well as my personal physician, I was diagnosed with two herniated disks. Surgery was not recommended and after I under went two epidural steroid injections treatments with an expensive MRI, I was told there was nothing that could be done. Fortunately, after several back specialists, I found Dr. Louis J. Ziegler, D.C., FIAMA who has been treating me for over four years for the pain in my back and legs. He has virtually eliminate my back pain and has relieved the pain in my legs. Dr. Ziegler's method of conditioning the back vertebrae prior to treatment along with the help of his professional staff has helped relieve the constant pain. I am currently getting physical, chiropractic and acupuncture (Kind Acupuncture) treatment for my pain in lower back and leg. The pain caused me to walk bent over and going stairs up and down was really painful. Having a good night sleep was out of question. After 3 treatments I am walking upright, sleeping much better and going up and down the steps is not so painful any more. I wish I had gone to see Dr. Ziegler much earlier. Dr. Ziegler is absolutely wonderful. (He is also an expert in sport medicine) I highly recommend him. Advance Health Center, where I go to get my treatment, has a friendly atmosphere and there is a ramp so I did not need to use the steps and the parking is free.

This is the second time I receive treatment from Dr. Ziegler in the past few years. In both instances, the focus on addressing the root cause of a problem rather than finding quick relief with a pill or injection was what appealed most to me. While it may take some patience to see significant results (at least 8 sessions for me), it's definitely worth it if you want to avoid unnecessary reliance on drugs.

I have had chiropractic treatments since 1993, due to a severe car accident in Colorado. My personal experience is a blessing because my chiropractor pretty much saved my life in reviewing my films (xrays,mri) found more injuries than the emergency room physicians did and began the treatment process. Being a military family, I was totally distraught when leaving Colorado. As stated before, my chirpractors are true blessings! Each one I have had, are totally outstanding in their craft. I have been treated by Dr. Ziegler since July of 2014 and can honestly state for the record, he and his practice go above and beyond to ensure my health is their number one concern. I started treatment with Dr. Z in the mid ‘2000’s. Dr. Z takes great care with his patients. After a methodical work up ( exam & xrays) he developed my treatment plan which has been life changing. Dr Ziegler has helped me with two acute bouts of pain - one in a shoulder, the other in hips and back. And he did a thorough job explaining acupuncture. He and his staff are wonderful. Will send friends in need.

I’ve seen Dr. Ziegler off and on for years. He has been excellent taking me in when I need to. He spends time to explain what is going on and his treatment plan. I appreciate his level of attention to details and treatment with much care and gentleness. I highly recommend him as a chiropractor who does what is needed rather than a chiropractor who cracks everybody’s back. This is what I love most about him —doing what is needed Also he is passionate about what he does. As a healthcare practitioner I can appreciate this a lot more. I have just started seeing Dr. Ziegler for my neck and back issues which Ive had since 1987 due in large part to a near fatel car accident. Dr. Ziegler began doing a proceedure called Dry Needling along my spine and neck which I had not tried prior to coming to his practice. I can tell you that I was apprehensive but after giving it a try I highly recommend it! Its not painful and after only one treatment I was amazed at how much better I felt. I will continue with this treatment as its making me feel great! I love the holistic way in which his pratice works so rather than jump right into a very expensive and potentially painful surgery he is treating me with an East meets West type of medicine which I am completely on board with. Have seen Dr. Z just about every time I’m in town, and he’s fantastic. Adjustments are always good & those who are able to utilize dry needling frequently + working out & stretching will see great results. I have had back problems for years and Dr. Zieglar has always found a solution without using medication. In doing so, this has also helped my posture. I have found the office staff very helpful, professional, and courteous. I have always received great care.

Dr Ziegler is a great chiropractor. I have used his services at Advanced Health Center for the past five years, when my back pain flared. I have appreciated his professional friendly care, and response to my questions about the cause of my pain. He has also recommended home exercises to complement his in office treatments. I have always found it easy to make appointments, and appreciated the friendly reception by staff at Advanced Health Center. This acupuncture location charged me for services on site at time of service. Told me my insurance didn’t cover the service which I already knew. Took my insurance card for their records and I should not have given it to them. They subsequently billed my insurance company $500 after charging me $150. When I contacted them they refused to give me the billing codes they utilized to bill my insurance. This smells of improper practices. Beware. Notifying my insurance carriers and others as needed. I'd like to give a zero. They don't get back to you when you call, they tell you something at your appointment and then conveniently choose to ignore it later on. They are incompetent and have lousy service. If you need a doctor who will actually talk to patients don't go here. Quick update:. I received a message not to rectify any mistake, but to inform me that I posted this not on the general practice page, but for a particular doctor, letting me know if was his co-worker and not he who screwed me out of concern for his ratings, because I guess it's personal reputation and not quality of practice that matters. I've been going to Dr. Ziegler for years. He diagnosed a pinched nerve and keeps me able to run! The office is always friendly.
