Dr. Wojcik is awesome. We were in a panic after being discharged from the hospital with our newborn who had abnormal kidney ultrasound results. We had been told a lot of scary things with little guidance. When we saw Dr Wojcik, he walked us through everything, and was able to take a huge weight off our shoulders that had been placed there by other doctors. He doesn’t dumb things down; doesn’t condescend—he explains things well and makes sure you understand exactly what is going on. He even caught our newborn’s elevated bilirubin levels, despite that not even being part of the issue we were seeing him for. He personally called us with those results and was fantastic about being available to answer our call when we had more questions. Highly, highly recommend him.

As someone who comes from a physician family, surgeons and all, I was appalled by the lack of respect and bedside manner Dr. Wojcik displayed towards me. If he had been observed by any other physician during this time, they would see a poor reflection on what is proper professionalism in the field of medicine. Physicians should never cut off patient questions mid sentence. They should be patient with questions and concerns regarding a potential surgical procedure. Dr. Wojcik pushed for an operation within the month that two other physicians said I could wait and watch for several months. Some of the information he gave me regarding the issue was contradictory to information given by up to date literature which is concerning. The two other physicians I consulted for second opinions said he was not correct which leads me to believe he lied to me or is severely misinformed. Dr. Wojcik may have many recognitions and be a skilled urologist, but I would not recommend him to anyone due to his lack of bedside manner and lack of patience for questions. Outstanding, he was very detailed and made my son feel very comfortable. Loved his bedside manner and would highly recommend him.❤️

About 12 years ago (2007) our son had a severe hypospadias repair when is was just shy of turning 1 with Dr. W. To me, Dr. W is quirky and to the point. I wasn’t looking for or needed a warm, fuzzy doctor, I wanted a doctor who had the confidence that he was very capable of performing the surgery and gave us all the different outcomes that may or may not happen. He was very upfront and that had me sold. Guess what? Thus far, that was our son’s first and only (knock on wood- pun intended) surgery for his hypospadias repair! About 12 years ago (2007) our son had a severe hypospadias repair when is was just shy of turning 1 with Dr. W. To me, Dr. W is quirky and too the point. I wasn’t looking for or needed a warm, fuzzy doctor I wanted a doctor who had he confidence that he was very capable of performing the surgery and gave us all the different outcomes that may or may not happen. Didn't show any concern for my concerns with my son. Very poor bedside manner. Would not recommend.

Dear Dr. Wojcik, there are people who come & go in our lives & leave a lasting impression for a lifetime & you were this person in my family. 15 years ago, you operated on our daughter & you had just arrived in S.C. to practice medicine. You & your assistant were great & when you explained our daughter's condition, my Mother was holding her & had tears running down her face as what you were telling us about my daughter was also the same condition I had at age 3 & almost died. We think of you often & this young lady is now 20 & attending College & living a normal life. She still hates to take medicine but at least I'm not straddling her on the floor & getting the liquid down by holding her nose or shutting her mouth. I cried every time but knew in the end it would would be worth it & she would be OK. TY!
