Dr. Schlickman provides top notch medical care. He listens well, has great interactive skills, and stays up on the latest research and treatment information.

It only took one visit Dr. Schlickman's office to learn it was not a dependable, professional or welcoming environment. The doctor was personable, but it was not enough to continue as a patient. Where do I start? I made a new patient appointment and his office clerk never mentioned they moved so I drove to the wrong location which made me late. When I called to explain, the lady at the front desk told me that it was Google's fault and told me I had to reschedule! I spent three more weeks in pain waiting for another appointment. No concern from the office clerk and no apologies, she was uncaring to say the least. Three weeks later, when I arrived for my appointment the same front desk lady was unfriendly and rude. I was the only person in the lobby and I was told I was not allowed to sit on any of the office furniture despite my hip pain. I had to stand in the waiting area! I met with the doctor and got blood work. I was told to expect results in 3 days. After no news for a week, I called to get my results. The office lady was rude and unapologetic again! She acted like I was bothering her. Then magically with in five minutes a nurse called and said in a message my blood work was normal never mentioning the high uric acid level marked in red on the report. Dr. Schlickman was also supposed to send a prescription to my pharmacy... never done, had to call to remind them and was met more unapologetic, rudeness from the same lady. They were supposed to schedule an x-ray for my foot and hips which they never did. I had to call from the St. Luke's x-ray lab and inform them about another failure in their process. That lady was as cold and uncaring. She was rude and full of spite because I was insisting that she send that order immediately because I was waiting in line. She actually yelled at me! I held my tongue but couldn't believe the lack of medical service and downright hateful tone I was receiving again! The final straw, they called me with x-ray results they told my foot x-rays looked fine and they never mentioned my hips at all! This is despite moderate and severe damage to both hips that I just learned will require future hip replacement surgery. Unbelievable! For this doctor and his staff 1 star is a gift they didn't earn and don't deserve.

Dr Schlickman had been my physician for many years and always is compassionate, comprehensive, and caring. He took care of my late husband who was not an easy patient, with many disease processes in play, and we could not have had a better physician. He always spends the time needed at every appointment to explain treatment options and medical conditions. Highly recommend Dr Schlickman.
