I like Dr.Pearlstein however at this time he does not seem to be adressing my problems..I also have called atleast 20 times in two weeks.The emergency ropm I ended ip in called they do not return phone calls.I feel my problem right now is a emergency

He did not ask me any of my symptoms when I came in for C-Spine pain that radiates down the entire right side of my body. I have pins and needles, numbness, weakness and electric shocks, brain fog, I feel like I am not getting enough oxygen, I have ringing in my ear....and I am only 24. He asked me about my hobbies and then he rushed me out of the office and said it was stress related. Nothing in my life is that stressful to where it would cause these symptoms.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Pearlstein to my family and friends. He consistently demonstrates superior skills. Both Dr. Khatri and Dr. P. are brilliant, trustworthy, and dedicated to their patients. The staff consistently goes above and beyond in their effort to be helpful to the patients and their families who are sometimes facing catastrophic diseases and conditions. My doctor sent me to Dr pearlstein for some test I had a great experience. Dr pearlstein and his staff made me feel comfortable and aware. Even before I went there I knew the staff were good people from just the phone call.

Dr Pearlstein has been my neurologist for over 20 years. He diagnosed me with MS almost 17 years ago and I have received exceptional care from day one. I highly recommend him. His care and expertise can not be compared.

I have been a patient with Dr. Pearlstein for over 6 years. His bedside manner is excellent and he takes the time to review everything with you. Any necessary testing is ordered and thoroughly reviewed. Scheduling is easy and the office personnel are also a pleasure to deal with.

This was my 1st time here and a great overall experience. The Staff did a great job of making me feel welcome, comfortable and assured. They were very knowledgeable, caring, and kind. I would definitely recommend Dr.. Pearlstein. He took the time to listen to my concerns and needs, and then to attend to them. I was quickly diagnosed by Dr. Pearlstein with GBS. All I can say is thank goodness I ended up in his care. My illness was overlooked by other professionals. Had I not seen him, I may have died. I was treated quickly and have recovered. Many people are not so lucky that get that horrible, rare illness. Carol

It is not quite often I think about a doctor's appointment after I had the visit. However, after recollecting the years I have been a patient of Dr. Pearlstein's, I find myself being so thankful finding someone so knowledgeable in his field. He always asks questions (and more than just one or two) to relate exactly what issues may be causing my pain. He doesn't hesitate telling me precisely what he thinks and offers his best treatment possible. I completely respect Dr. Pearlstein's professionalism and his witty sense of humor which I find calming to say the least. I have always had a pleasant experience with his office staff also. I definitely need to say a special thank you to Tara who has been so easy to speak to regarding my visits. I took my mother for her visit the staff was very friendly and helpful the wait time was ok. The Dr was very nice listened too my concerns , took his time with us , I didn’t feel rushed. I would recommend his office to other people very pleased.

OK,..not being very proficient in using a computer,...I just wrote a review and lost it somewhere in 'computer land!'So,...I am rewriting my review ,as I think it is important enough to give a patient looking for the BEST NEUROLOGIST,Dr. Louis Pearlstein, a glowing review. When a patient is in need of a Neurologist,of course we are fearful.I must tell you that Dr. Pearlstein is the warmest ,most knowledgable Dr. you will find.He explains every question asked,in great detail,in 'laymen's terms',so his patient understands everything!I always look forward to my yearly visit ,because he is so personable,and he has a great sense of humor,...making me that much more relaxed!His staff is wonderful.Today,I had my E.E.G. with Maria.She is always full of interesting conversation,and I tend to be disappointed when the test is over!!*The office staff are great!Today I was greeted by Jen,Sherry and Lauren.Always welcoming,you can actually see an outline of their smiles under their masks!Professional ,they all go out of their way to make sure each patient is comfortable!.I can honestly say,...that Dr. Louis Pearlstein ,is indeed the best Neurologist I have ever seen.I always look forward to my visits with him,and I highly recommend Dr. Louis Pearlstein as the #1Neurologist!!

I was a bit anxious before my visit but Dr. Pearlstein and his staff immediately put me at ease with their professional and compassionate "bedside manner." Having previously suffered a rare neurological disorder (GBS), I was very impressed and comforted with the knowledge that Dr. Pearlstein has extensive experience with GBS. Indeed, I learned that he was the lead author of several scholarly journal articles concerning GBS and the associated painful neuropathy for which I sought treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Louis Pearlstein for any individual requiring neurological care.

Well I tried multiple times to call and make an appointment today and could not get anyone to answer/call me back. I'm moving on to another doctor.

The front desk staff is incompetent! They never answer the phone or return your call! You have to wait days for them to call you back. Kara is rude and doesn’t have the faintest idea about what she is talking about.

If I could give this practice zero stars I would. The front desk NEVER answer their phone. I have been trying to call them for the past 2 days just to see if they accept my insurance and every time I call they let it go to voicemail and never call back! This is not the way to run a practice!

If I could rate this place it would be a big minus 0. I had appointment went into the office for my appointment waited 15 minutes before any one acknowledge that i was standing there. No one greeted me. Finally some one said how can i help you.. I introduce myself and said i have appointment. The receptionist reminded me of my co-payment, then stated that i will need to leave a credit card on file just in case additional charges are done.. I stated NO I don't leave my personal information in a file and if additional charges comes up please send me a bill, but i don't understand how i would receive additional charges if you already notify my insurance company to verify what my co-pay amount would be.. Today was my annual visit to Dr.Louis Pearlstein.The minute I walked through the door,I was warmly greeted by his staff at the desk.That would be Jaimie and Sherry,....and I was promptly taken into a room for my 'brain' test*,my EEG,by Maria.Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and besides being so professional,....his staff makes the patient feel so completely welcomed! I have been seeing Dr. Pearlstein for many years.He is an absolutely wonderful doctor.He takes the time to answer every question I have,and to make sure I 'understand' his answers,....always with a smile on his face.No question is off limits,and I always leave his office reassured . Dr. Pearlstein always gives me the information I need. I'm treated well from the minute I walk through the door. If a referral is needed, he'll look a name up and offer some history about a new doctor. He not only talks to me...he really listens! I always feel like we're making decisions together.

Office staff and policies are awful

Physician in great but the staff is horrible. They aren’t the friendliest in the world and you never get anyone on the phone. It’s phone tag of messages.

I called the office 5 times, left message every time and I am still waiting 9 days later and no one has ever called me back. I don’t know if the doctor knows about this or not!!!!!!!

Being seen by Dr. Louis Pearlstein marked a turning point in my migraines. After a severe episode of vertigo, I had been misdiagnosed at the ER with a dislodged crystal in my left ear. However, when I saw Dr. Pearlstein he asked me a series of questions that ruled out a dislodged crystal as the culprit and identified my symptoms to actually be migrainous vertigo / vestibular migraines. He was the only doctor who identified and diagnosed my bouts of “greying out” and provided concrete advice and medication for tackling my migraines. Without Dr. Pearlstein I would not be aware of what my condition is or how to treat it. He knows the right questions to ask and is the only doctor I will go to about my migraines. Highly recommended.

I love Dr. Pealstein. He is great. No one ever answers the phones or calls back the same day as they promise. If you're in a lot of pain you could have a stroke by the time the front desk returns your call for an appointment.

If i could give a review 0 , I tried to make and appointment for my husband after spinal fusion surgery, Kara if it is her actual name, refused my request with attitude and told me to find another doctor. It is not professional nor is it acceptable to treat anyone this way.

This office cares more about your money than your wellbeing. After being canceled on and having to wait week for another appointment, at their convenience, got to the office and before filling out any paperwork they immediately wanted my copay and a credit card to keep on file. With data theft being as prevalent nowadays, I didn't feel comfortable about this. Then after reading their paperwork, while the front desk still asked for my copay at least twice more, I find out that they want it on file incase the insurance company doesn't pay all of it, and that they can automatically charge my credit card. I asked them about PCI compliance, of which they knew nothing. This is compliance surrounding how customer credit info is kept. Then I asked if there was any information about this since PCI compliance requires multiple audits yearly, and they couldn't provide anything other than to say that they make a copy of the card (physical) then take it upstairs to "their billing guy" (where they said, he's been doing this for years, so he knows what he's doing) and its then entered into a computer and the physical is shredded. I have so many issues with that statement, I can't even go into it all. They keep repeating things like "this is standard" and "nothing has happened before" to try and make it sound better but these phrases have no grounds in anything factual, its all just based on "trust us" and for a doctors office that has talked more about trying to get my money than get me healthy, that is a big red flag. Excellent Dr. He takes his time and really knows his specialty area. This Dr. Is confident, humorous and very knowledgeable. You will be in good hands with Dr. pearlstein. My mom had a tia and was there for a check up. He had excellent advice and information. He took his time with us and was just really nice. Go to him for your neurological needs. Just be considerate and arrive in time and stick to your appt. if you do, you will be treated with kindness, care and get great information. My mom recently had a TIA and had to make a follow up with a neurologist. We were so lucky to find Dr. Pearlstein. He is intelligent and very knowledgeable. He read my mom's chart ahead of time and took a lot of time with is in his office. He is funny too. Just a nice person. It was truly a pleasure seeing Dr.pearlstein. He was honest, factual and his bed side manner put us at ease. We were not rushed out of the office. This type of care and was very refreshing. If you want and need excellent care go see Dr. pearlstein. As I mentioned before, he is intelligent, knows his complicated "stuff" and very thorough. I am thinking of seeing him for my migraines. I had my yearly visit with Dr. Louis Pearlstein,Neurologist,in Bensalem,Pa.-Once again, I was greeted so warmly by the staff,and must admit I always look forward to seeing Dr. Pearlstein every year. He treats everyone with such respect and honesty,and so knowledgable in his profession. I have issues with migraines and been to other neurologist and no one treatment as homely, one on one and comfortable then this location. I recommend Dr Khatri for migraine issue and Dr Pearlstein for any neurologist issue. Everyone is friendly.

Dr. Pearlstein is a caring and personable doctor. The staff is helpful, knowledge-ball and attentive to your needs.The first time I went there as a patient, the doctor and staff were absolutely great , and made me feel comfortable as a patient. I have not seen a doctor who actually read my file BEFORE I spoke to him in I don't know how long. Wonderful doctor, sense of humor and compassion. I believe he is one of the more knowledgeable doctors I've seen in awhile. Highly recommend!

Nice and helpful when you are actually in the office, but otherwise I was very disappointed. A phone call from a receptionist saying you're having seizures, we're prescribing this medication, no we don't want to see you in person to discuss your results, see you in six months! does not inspire a lot of confidence. I had to INSIST on a follow-up to speak to the doctor and was told nothing about the medication being prescribed, the side-effects (which are pretty scary) etc just told to take it

My recent experience with this doctors office has been one of the worst. I started seeing Dr Pearlstein back in December 2014 I had been diagnosed with migraines, severe, chronic migraines daily. I began researching local neuro's in my area. I came across this office. My first official visit seemed okay. I met with Dr P explained my situation, he inquired about previous medications, in which I have never taken because this was all new to me. Never in my life had I experienced migraines. Dr P prescribed Lamotrogine, I was a little skeptical at first but after doing my own research and speaking with family members I decided to go ahead and follow through the meds. I started off at a low dosage and they increased weekly under drs' orders until I felt possibly an effect good or bad. I was still suffering with migraines for about 3 weeks into the meds. I called expalined that, nothing , was told just keep taking it, nothing was precribed for pain, nothing. Now Dr Pearlstein had explained to me that if the medicine didn't agree with me or if I started to have any concerns that we could always change the medicine. Now about 2 weeks ago the meds were increased due to me still experiencing pain, head and facial. I called and would leave messages and also speak with the assistants at the front desk, (I could never speak directly with Dr Pearlstein, never, and was told by the medical assistants over the phone that Dr P. wouldn't see me, even after explaining my situation). Also,I was told that my blood levels would be checked after a few months to make sure everything was going good, till this day no one ever inquired about any bloodwork I had to bring this to the stafffs attention this past week. Now my dosage was increased in which it then started to make me nauseas, light headed and more pressure in and around my eyes. I called, left a message, I received a call back once again from medical assistants and was told that Dr Pealstein can not do anything else for me. Med assistant stated that maybe I should see a pain specialists in which I had already done beofre. Okay, as I stated at the initial appt everything seemed good, we will make any changes needed, change meds if this one and that one doesn't work for you, I'll check blood levels to make sure all is okay with your blood work, just call if there are any concerns. All of this I have made note of, every phone call ,every response. One other note, they had in my medical file that I was on another meds that I had told them 3 times that I've never taken and whenever I speak with the med assistants they always stated well you've taken this and that, I tell them no that needs to be removed from my records. However, I have been referred to an excellent neuro in my area. The office staff is pleasant and they have no problem with me speaking with the Doctor. The doctor is patient, caring and finds his patients health and well being as a high priority. That right there speaks volume for itself. My health is a top priority for me and my family. No questions asked. At this point and time, this staff has showed me that my health is not that relevant... My new neuro dr I haven't even had the first initial appointment with has already reached out to question my issues and or concerns regarding my ongoing health and well being. Even my ENT Dr is great and he as well is concerned with my migraines and ATypical facial pain. My recent experience with this doctors office has been one of the worst.
