Dr. Lorenzo F Munoz

Dr. Muñoz was my surgeon for meningioma resection in Dec 21. He explained the condition, what my options were, possible side effects of surgery, and answered all of my many questions in a calm, reassuring way. My surgery was done within a week. My incision is perfectly healed with no visible scar and unnoticeable hair loss. I would highly recommend Dr. Muñoz as a neurosurgeon. The Rush Hospital experience overall has been flawless.

Dr Munoz is fantastic. Literally awesome. He is down to earth - has as way of explaining things in terms you can easily understand - is an amazing surgeon and has an incredible team.

I have a cavernous malformation removed from my thalamus in 2010 and have had no symptoms since. He was wonderful explaining everything to me and very compassionate. I would recommend him to everyone.

In 2103, Fathers day weekend, my husband woke having a seizure, later discovered, due to an atypical meningioma. He was in surgery on Monday, discharged Wednesday, and Dr. keeps a watchful eye annually now since. He truly has made our world a better place.

Please do not go to Dr. Munoz for Chiari decompression. He removes too much skull.
