March 29 th Appointment canceled today after waiting for months for this appointment and told that had to refer us to a different neurologist who doesn't have a appt available until June. Very poor customer service to make a appointment which requires you to wait for months to get in and then call a week before the appointment and cancel it and to tell you that you have to go see a different neurologist. Alot of information and a referral from our primary care dr required even though previous methodist neurologists who did surgery after concussion & ordered CT scans as follow up. Prev neurologist left methodist system and we were required to make appointment as a new patient. Dr Blas office couldn't figure out that he could not manage my issue before making the appointment? Don't waste your time with this dr's office they apparently don't know what they are doing.

How nice it has been to find a Doctor who will actually take time to “Listen” to his patients! What a concept! Dr. Lorenzo Blas is an extremely knowledgeable Neurologist who listens to his patients, discusses treatment plans & actually waits to make sure the patient fully understands what was discussed & he then “asks if you have any questions before you leave!” Furthermore, the office staff is top notch! The office wait time is minimal, usually 15 min. As a patient you’ll also have access to the Patient Portal which is streamlined for efficient & effective patient care. I don’t often write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my personal experience because doctors of this magnitude are very hard to find. Dr. Lorenzo Blas is what I would refer to as an “Old School Doc”, he’s very patient driven. And everyone on his staff has shown the same level of dedication. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lorenzo Blas, (Neurologist) as well as his dedicated staff to any of my family & friends!

Dr. Blas is extremely smart and very well educated. Neurology is what he was born to do in this life. His compassion, understanding and integrity are remarkable and impressive. I'll forever be greatful for the care he continues to provide for my mother. Thank you Dr Blas.

I have been seeing Dr. Blas for a very long time and have followed him from other offices he served. He is very detailed and patient with me as well as my son who is a patient. My son has a very complex medical background and issues seem to always come up related to his multiple disorders, but Dr. Blas is always there to help and ensure my son's care.

He is a medical genius. Highly Educated and well informed with the latest. Compassionate and charming as well.

I saw Dr. Blas after I suffered a Ruptured Brain Aneurysm. The Doctors at my usual hospital (one of the best in the world !!!!!! ) weren't helping me whatsoever with the pain and swelling caused by a dead and a damaged nerve. They saved my life, but Dr. Blas saved me from my pain!!! Highly Recommend!

I’d love to leave a rating for the doctor but I’m unable to get in to see him. I wanted to see him based on the reviews here and because it states, same day appointments, next day appointments, etc....but there’s nothing for two months. On top of which you call the “office” number where no one answers. You have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back.

I can't recommend anyone for Dr Blas. But I wouldn't because of his staff in the scheduling Department. If you have Humana or any type of Medicare they do not accept that insurance buy a administrative policy. They quit seeing me because they quit taking my insurance I loved Dr Blas! He is a great Dr I went 2yrs without a seizure under his care. His new Administration is lazy and doesn't want to do Medicare paperwork! So that tells me they have no care for people & are in medical care for money.

A caring Dr. that really wants to help his patients great bedside manner.

Dr. Blas is a professional, knowledgeable doctor. Been going to him for years. Explains things well and is very kind but firm. Conservative when prescribing meds. Only problem I have is EVERYONE else in the office! Since moving to this new group, I have never been treated so rudely and insensitively in my life! Clerical staff AND nurses treat you like you are stupid and should be grateful to be a patient. Very disturbing! Do not call you back and lie about it! Would leave if he were not so good.

Dr. Blas is FABULOUS!! He is one of those great doctors that listens to his patients. He will take time to ask if I have any questions or concerns.

This doctor is inaccessible without spending an hour on the phone passed around by schedulers and assistants, as the individuals apparently do not communicate with one another. I gave up my attempt to be seen by Dr. Blas after holding an hour in between repeating myself to different people. Please spend some of your salary to hire competent phone staff.

Dr. Blas really did help me change my life while I was his patient. Unfortunately since his relocation I have not been able to see him any longer and now back to were I was before I got his help. If your lucky enough to get into see Dr. Blas than you've got an excellent Dr. Thank you for all you did to help me for the few years before you relocated. I will say I wish you never would have moved. I would still be doing good like I was...

After years of searching for pain relief and even having gone to a facial pain doctor/specialist (who I cannot recommend), my search for a doctor familiar with Trigeminal Neuralgia was fruitful. No longer did I need to consider the simple brain surgery that the other doctor had casually recommended. Dr. Blas is wonderful. And I often think he saved my life. Seriously!

Both Dr. and staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They put the patients and family at ease, and comfortable to express their concerns. Very approachable. Highly recommend.
