Dr. Lonnie Neil Resnick IX

I'm frankly quite perplexed from the overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews. Perhaps they are from patients whose issues fell into Dr. Resnick's forte however, nail fungus and cracked/deep heel fissures are not one of them. He reassured me that I do not have nail fungus on my big toes (with no cultures, just by looking....) and of course, after few weeks and another visit and proper diagnostic protocol the fungus was confirmed (which I suspected all along myself, hence my first visit to Dr. Resnick). And his solution to my cracked heel? (beside quick and shabby sanding job with tool which seemed to be already used prior to my visit ...no comment there) Repeated pleadings for me to go and visit some specific store in New Canaan and purchase New Balance sneakers. Hmmm, I wonder what is his cut from each sale LOL. Well, hey, I don't mean to discourage anyone just sharing MY experience from my visit.

He is amazing! I’ve gotten both my ingrown toenails done by him and he’s the best. Gentle yet efficient!

Dr. Lonnie Resnick is amazing. He gave up his day off just to help me, instead of sending me to ER. He opened his office just for me and my emergency. In a few hours my excruciating pain was gone! He is not only amazing, he is very friendly and nice! I would recommend him to anyone!

If I could give Dr. Resnick and his office staff "6 STARS" I most certainly would. I don't expect I will ever need another podiatrist. A more caring, professional, patient, and friendly Dr. I absolutely do not know.

Dr Resnick is a phenomenal doctor, and I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He is both highly knowledgable and personable, and guided me step-by-step through handling my medical concerns while alleviating any anxieties I had walking into his office.

Best foot doctor. This is the guy you want to care for your feet. Always a pleasure!

Fantastic podiatrist and a really nice guy. I thought that he was great at diagnosing my issues and proposing a simple solution. If needed, he has orthotics available at at a low price and you definitely get the sense that he cares and it’s important to him that you have a good experience.

Dr. Resnick and his staff were delightful to deal with and so helpful!!!He took the time to explain several things to me that I needed to now about my foot issue. Their office was easy to get to and very neat and clean. I would recommend him to anyone.

The absolute best Podiatrist I have ever met. I have been a patient for over 7 years. I had an appointment set up for Monday. Throughout the weekend my condition got worse. I left a message Saturday morning and heard back in a matter of a couple hours. Instead of recommending I go to the ER on a weekend, he took time out of his day off to come to the office and care for my issue. I was blown away, I did not expect this act of kindness. I have never met a doctor who has gone out of his way to this extent to help. Aside from those great things, the office is clean and welcoming. Doctor Resnick is very friendly and patient. Dr. Resnick is a genuinely nice person and a very good doctor. He listens and is calculated in his approach. Highly recommend.

Dr. Resnick recently squeezed us in on a Friday morning, just before my teen daughter was going away for several weeks. She had a painful ingrown toenail. He took care of it quickly and easily and had a calming bedside manner. My daughter was able to go away the next day completely pain free!

Dr. Resnick brought me in minutes after I contacted him, desperate for good care of my infected ingrowing toenail (earlier that day I walked in to a podaiatrist office but could barely walk out, in other words-- they have worsened the situation). Dr. Resnick verbalized to me each and every step he performed during care, which made the process much less painful and easier. I just sat there and actually enjoyed watching my toe being cared. As soon as Dr. Resnick finished I could immediately feel the relief. I could finally walk again, properly. I more than strongly recommend his service. He cares for you as if you were a member of his family. Dr. Resnick is very good about appointments, and looks at things through a positive approach. He is not an alarmist, but he is realistic and works hard to maintain your health through his work. When you go to see him, you know that you are seeing a friend. I have gone to Dr. Resnick since he opened with a few times elsewhere when my insurance was not accepted, but that was a short time. I wish that he and Dr. Svogun would teach newer Dr.s about compassion, manners and humanity. He cares for you as if you were a member of his family. Dr Resnick is a wonderful person he treated my mother’s foot very well, she even said he’s one of the best podiatrist she’s ever been too!! Would definitely recommend him..

You'd be hard pressed to find a doctor like him. Great bedside manners, excellent waiting room, staff. There's not enough stars for this guy.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Resnick...he handled a particularly trying situation with one of my kids with the patience and sensitivity of a saint. Great bedside manner, and most importantly he did a great job!!!

Dr. Reznick is one of the nicest people and one of the most knowledgeable, skilled doctors that I have ever gone to. My whole family goes to him. He's kind, patient, thorough, and committed to making you feel better as well as stay healthy.

I was suffering with a painful right heel and had the good fortune of seeing Dr. Resnick for treatment. Dr. Resnick was very knowledgable and explained my condition and treatment options clearly. I could see that he cared about me as a person and had compassion. I was seen on time for my visits and he answered all my questions. His early morning and Saturday appointments were convenient. Dr. Resnick clearly loves helping people and I would highly recommend him without reservations for all your foot needs! Dr. Lonnie Resnick is an excellent Podiatrist. He is very knowledgeable but also has a great bedside manner. He correctly diagnosed several foot injuries and prescribed the right treatment that worked with my sports training regiment. He understands the perspective of an athlete and offered a treatment plan that solved my problems but allowed me to return to my training regiment within a reasonable time. Dr. Resnick is very knowledgeable podiatrist. I was experiencing mid foot pain after running. He identified that my problem was a faulty arch and was able correct the issue and now I no longer have foot pain and can resume my normal exercise routine. Thank you Dr. Resnick!
