Dr Gesn is great, very knowledgeable and has a kind bedside manner.

First time bringing my child to Dr.Lois I was very happy with my visit she was very helpful and friendly towards my child. I’ll definitely be returning

Since I left the New Orleans area, it was a hassle trying to find a pediatrician that was great for my little ones. I was back and forth in Baton Rouge, finally I found Dr. Gesn and would recommend any mom who likes a pediatrician that is direct, straight to the point, have years of experience, and if it is something she doesn't know she will send a referral with no hesitation to a specialist who can help. She responds in a timely manner and very polite. I had one incident with one of her nurses she addressed it and I just let it go and kept it moving. Dr Gesn sees my 2 year old and my newborn. She's provided excellent care for their health and is a great doctor. The facility is nice and the staff is friendly. The wait time is never bad. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gesn is very smart. She has been a very valuable doctor for my children. She always answers all my questions and I always feel like she gives me her honest opinions. My granddaughter loves Dr. Gesn. She is always concerned about how she is doing physically and academically. She has a very sweet spirit and takes time to get to know my granddaughter by talking with her.

Dr Gesn , is a great provider , she is very attentive to the needs of her patients and readily available. My kids feel very comfortable around her and is able to express themselves freely .Her staff, miss Betty and all are also very helpful and patient .

Dr. Gesn has seen my daughter since birth (she's 5 now) & now she also see's my son (he is 1 now). The best, Love her!!

We waited in our vehicle until called to enter; temps were taken and distancing maintained; and the customer care was great as usual. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Gesn is always very professional and helpful. I always feel comfortable to ask any questions I may have. I was also pleased with the amount of time I was there for both of my boys’ appointments.

We love Dr. Gesn. She doesn't overmedicate and takes each patients situation into consideration with her gentle care. She makes bringing my babies to the Dr. easy!!!

Annual well child checkup for Jacob with a flu shot. Dr Gesn and her nurse took their vitals and asked all the right questions. She has always been very professional with us but also very personal. We are glad she’s there doctor.

Dr. Gesn has attended my 6 month old since birth. We had our 4th wellness checkup with immunizations this past week and the experience was awesome as always. I have no complaints, never do. Thank you Dr. Gesn and staff.

Has been through the ups & downs for all my little ones. All 4 boys and soon to be now 5. Its a GIRL!!!! Lol. Thank you Dr. Gesn for your compassion behind your career & not for what you do to keep not just my babies but all of ours little toes healthy & active, & better yet at understanding what just life in general has to give in each patients lives. My wife and I had a less than stellar experience dealing with our initial pediatrician. So we decided that we would explore our options. My mother recommended Dr.Gesn, and let’s just say I owe momma big time. It was a night and day difference seeing Dr. Gesn over our son’s last doctor. Her and her staff are amazing. They’ve been kind, courteous,& professional every visit. Not to mention her bedside manner is very personable. She makes you feel like an actual person and not just a paycheck. Both of my parents are in the healthcare field. So both as a parent, and as a person who knows a thing or two about the inner workings of a doctors offices, hospitals, etc. I can without a doubt highly recommend her to anybody who is in need of a pediatrician that cares. This visit was AWFUL. First of all, we did the normal check up (weight check, height, etc) which took about 10 minutes. Next, we were getting my daughter her 2 vaccines she was needing. Our appointment was 2pm and after the check up it was 2:10. So we waited about 30 minutes and my child is screaming because shes been sitting for so long and hungry (she is 2 years old) . i went out of the doctors room to ask the front desk where the nurse was with her vaccines and they said she was getting them. We continued to wait and its now 3:15 and no vaccination. We ended up leaving and saw nurses giggling. On their cell phones and clearly having a good time instead of checking on us and my daughter ,you could also easily hear my child screaming because our room was next to the front desk. Not only did we not recieve her vaccines but no discharge paper work or her dental info we were told to have. The nurses didnt even care to check on the status of the vaccines after we said we probably should leave since our daughters care is coming last. Very disappointed in the nurses and her team. She’s very professional, but not to the point where you feel uncomfortable. She has a nice calming voice and she’s understanding and she wants the best for your health.

I have raised four children so we’ve seen a few doctors over the years. Dr. Gesn is undoubtedly the worst. She is rude, dismissive to parent and child alike, has no compassion or empathy for the patient, and is a thoroughly unpleasant person.

I have taken my children here for over a year, her service was fair but nothing to rave about. She was close to the house so we used her. My youngest son had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite and when taken to the ER they said as much and treated him and told us to follow up with his doctor. So he was bitten again and we took him to Dr. Gesn, she stated hat she had never seen a child who was allergic to mosquitoes and that she wouldn't give him anything for it when while at the same time stating that the bite was toxic causing his lymph node to swell which we had seen her for and taken him to the urgent care regarding recently because he had been very ill. I had previously taken my son to her due to the fact that he had been very sick and she said to just let him get rest and fluids. At the time he was 15 months. Low an behold he had pneumonia, bronchitis and strep throat which she had never checked for, she only checked for the flu. My other son who has eczema really bad went in because he has it really bad over his mouth this year and has had it for about 5 months due to the weather change it is flaring up. She told him to put desitin diaper rash cream on his mouth at the age of 13 for his eczema.... instead of referring him to even a specialist she told him to just use diaper rash cream. She just seems to do the bare minimum. Every time it seems like she is listening to our concerns she really isn't and my children aren't being cared for unless I go to a completely different hospital or set of doctors, and I shouldn't have to do that. I absolutely must say that dr Lois was my sons pediatrician since he was quite a few months old.The entire experience with this woman has been absolutely TERRIBLE I would not recommend anyone to see her.Please to those reading this review understand I am not leaving it out of spite.It seemed no matter what concern I brought to her she did nothing.my son has a speech delay is almost 3 y/o,NOTHING.had a cold for 2 months,NOTHING.she was dishonest about referring him.sorry to say a terrible M.D.
