Could not have been treated better at office at hospital at follow up for both eye surgeries

Suter was on call the weekend we had an emergency.........It took 3 calls to get him return our call. When he finally did return the call, he could have not been more rude or dismissive. He told my daughter to make an appointment Monday -he refused to see emergency patients the weekend he is on call. Looking back I'm so glad we did not get started with him, my daughter does have a critical issue and he definitely is not the doctor we would want.

Would strongly advise not going to Dr Suter. My last visits with him was awful- his apparent lack of care and expertise were startling. I went elsewhere and received a full treatment plan.

After months of suffering from an eye condition, I was told by Dr Suter that this condition “ just happens” and “who knows” why it reoccurs. He didn’t seem to care at all and it was awful for me as the patient to feel that. I went to another eye doctor today for the same problem and he took the time to fully explain that it doesn’t “just happen” and “ he knows exactly” why it has been reoccurring. I was given a full treatment plan and my hopes for managing this have been greatly elevated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr Suter to anyone.

I saw Dr. Suter on an emergency visit d/t serious, sudden vision problems. My doctor was very concerned and urged me to see whatever ophthalmologist I could get into first, and that happened to be Dr. Suter. It turns out I was the last appointment of the day, and my goodness did he act like it. He was nonchalant, unprofessional, and vague. He gave no diagnosis. Because my retina was not detached, as he suspected d/t my symptoms, he DID NOT CARE anymore and conducted no more tests. He stated I should follow up in a month. After explaining that I was having much difficulty seeing, reading, and driving, he SHRUGGED and said "Well, hopefully it's better in a month" and walked out of the room. The technician who performed initial tests seemed appalled and disgusted by his behavior, as was I. I quickly made an appointment to see Dr. Sambursky and thank god I did. He referred me to a retina specialist who diagnosed and treated me. Dr. Suter SHOULD NOT BE IN PRACTICE.

Dr. Suter was the doctor on call for eye emergencies. I injured my eye and called the office. I was told that there was no time available until tomorrow. For an eye injury. With the eye doctor on call for eye emergencies. That is completely unacceptable. No other eye doctor would see me because they have to refer to the doc on call. Who would not see me today. The office staff is very helpful. The cataract surgery worked exactly as he said it would -painless - and now I can see. I was so impressed that I am having my other eye done nos, instead of waiting until it gets worse.

I had him preform cataract surgery on me in August of 2015.I went back to him in February of this year and told him I was having problems with floaters in both eyes and a cloudiness since the operation.He checked and says that there was a little cloudiness and that it should go away in time. I could have saved myself the $50.00 office fee and told myself that. My eyesight is much worse after going to this place.I also got new glasses after the surgery and they were good for about a month.AVOID
