Dr. Lisa P. Zwerdlinger

Dr. Lisa is amazing! She came into her office to see me on Christmas Eve with only a few hours notice, I called her office at 9 am and was on the exam table by 1 pm. It would have been sooner but she was out making house calls, WOW. I'm from out of town and we have never met but she treated me like a VIP. I was so sick with a rhino-virus complicated with altitude sickness. It has been years since I've felt that ill. I left her office with a bottle of oxygen and piece of mind that I did not have COVID or influenza. Dr. Lisa was kind, compassionate, professional, and the way she spoke to my wife and I was like we had been friends since birth. I think the people of Leadville are blessed to have Dr. Lisa but something tells me they already know it. Thank you Dr. Lisa! Todd

Dr. Lisa is Absolute worst doctor ever!! Got scolded and “talked to” how it was wrong of me for wanting to switch pharmacies, and that I got prescribed medication from another doctor even though I previously told her I had shoulder surgery… literally can’t believe that she is still allowed to practice in Leadville!

This woman should be in Jail not practicing medicine.

The staff at the desk is amazing. Dr. Amy and the other gal is, as well. However, Dr. Lisa herself is highly incompetent. She doesn't absorb anything you tell her, even with direct eye contact. Be ready for unnecessary sleep studies, and for your insurance to be driven through the roof. I'll echo that the other gals working were incredible. I wish I could leave more stars. I'm not the type to leave public reviews but I absolutely am for this place. First things first, the wait times here are very long. You get called back pretty quickly but wait 30-45 mins for doctor to come in. My 3 visits here were all the same. Second, I have influenza. Noticeably sick in the room and I complained about not sleeping for 3 nights because my cough was so vicious. She sent me home with a cough suppressant and a steroid for my nose. 4-5 hours later I called back. Very weak cough suppressant did absolutely nothing for me and the steroid gave me ridiculous anxiety and chest pressure. She wasnt willing to help me any further. Said sorry and we got off the phone. Didnt sleep again so went to another emergency center at 5am, where they sent me to a hospital for testing, because they noticed I was actually sick and needed more than an inhaler and a steroid. Wow one of the absolute worst experiences I’ve had with a doctors office. All they try to do is get you to become a patient permanently at there clinic every time you come in. To top things off I called back after non improvement and got treated like a customer service client complaining when I was calling because I’ve become more ill and need help. Is it not the doctors job to help you when your Ill? I’ve never had a doctors treat me with such disrespect not even opening my chart just treating me like a customer complaining. Dr Lisa even asked, “how can I help make your day better?” Over the phone while I’m struggling through asthma attacks. Easy in and out for tetanus shot.

Friendly and helpful! Easy to schedule an appointment and change it if necessary

I like that they are open late and on weekends. It makes it very easy to make an appointment and they are always kind and friendly.

First appointment went great. She actually got me started by calling people for programs I need instead of just giving me a list of resources. Pretty proactive.

I recently moved to Leadville and have always been treated with respect at this clinic. Each person that I have encountered is friendly and professional. I’m a bit perplexed that some reviews are negative and state that staff are rude. However, I generally dismiss reviews that have multiple grammar errors.

Got a last minute appointment due to leaving for international travel that same day. Was much appreciated. The prescription seemed to help with my symptoms while traveling which was a god-send. Thanks everyone for your kindness and understanding.

I’m grateful for Dr. Lisa and her drive to give me the best care and advocacy in a system that sometimes loses folks along the way. I truly feel like she’s on my team.

In and out of the office in a prompt time. Took care of the issue at hand without severance follow up visits.

We love Dr Lisa! She has a great bedside manner and is always willing to take the time to really talk to you about your health concerns! She explains any medication prescribed and their possible side effects and does not push you into taking medication that you do not need!

I was a 'walk in' patient since having just moved to the county earlier in the year. I had a medical issue that needed immediate attention and was very relieved to have this clinic available to me. It was affordable and the staff very professional, competent, and pleasant. I would definitely recommend going to this Dr.'s office/clinic.

Calling to make a appointment is a hassle because of how rude they are. Definitely won't call here again

What a waste of time and money. This Dr is a no good liar! 100% liar!!! I swear in a court of law and if I subpoena Amy King she admitted that Dr Lisa lied big time and cost me $2000 because of her lies! Dr Lisa needs to be held accountable for her actions of outright lies! Even her own PA Amy King said she lied!

I really appreciated that the owner worked with me on my first appointment, as far as a payment arrangement for the following day. However, although the staff was friendly and helpful, my second visit resulted in no new information. I was sent to the ER from the family practice to receive additional tests after my initial consultation at the family practice. The ER then sent me back to the family practice to review my test results. The family practice only read to me the ER doctor's notes, which had already been given to me at the hospital. I was then referred to another practice in Frisco to review the results that were supposed to have been reviewed at the family practice. My comment is not malicious in intent. I would like to suggest a more communicative arrangement between the ER doctor and the Family practice doctor. $40 for a consultation that amounted to only a repeat of the hospital doctor's notes was a waste of money, and frankly I don't have money to waste. We have been seeing Dr. Zwerdlinger for almost 20 years. We have the utmost confidence in her competence, which is the most important thing when speaking of a doctor. There have been two instances in which she acted very quickly to diagnose otherwise undetected issues. The doctors and staff have been great. I want to thank Jennifer especially. I was having a very hard day and she listened to me and discussed my symptoms with me and we came up with a plan. I didn't feel as overwhelmed as i had when I came in. Thank you each and everyone of you your support through out this ordeal has been crucial.

I have just recently transferred my medical records to Dr. Zwerdlinger. She and her staff are very personable, caring individuals who are genuinely concerned about your personal health. What I appreciate is the ability to schedule an appointment quickly and to just walk in, if the need arises. I also appreciate that tests are only performed if deemed medically necessary, not just to run up your bill. I am really looking forward to having an additional facility in Buena Vista. Dr. Lisa and her staff are excellent! Very professional, very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend them for primary and urgent care needs in Leadville.
