We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Waterman and her staff. We received fantastic prenatal care and continue to receive great gynecological care. They are always kind and helpful. They ask about our family and how we are doing. We can always count on them for an honest opinion and know we can ask any question and they will be happy to answer it and help us out. I would recommend to anyone.

If you want a Dr who never reviews your file before your appointment then Dr Waterman is your gal. Bedside manner is nonexistent and head nurse is callous at best.

Dr. Waterman has cared for me through 2 births and a diagnosis of PCOS. She has been thoughtful and has calmed my every worry, always cautious and making the best decisions for me and my babies!

I didn’t realize how much she weight shamed me until after I delivered my daughter. I was told multiple times that I was overweight (which I knew) and that it wasn’t healthy for the baby. (Mind you I saw an endocrinologist to get pregnant) I know it’s not an ideal situation but you don’t have to remind me every appointment even though I was losing weight my entire pregnancy. She wasn’t good at communicating anything with me. She was forcing me into induction which luckily I didn’t have to do when my daughter came early on her own.

I suffered with extreme pain for 30 years until I found Dr. Waterman. She got me approved for a hysterectomy, and found & cleared out undiagnosed endometriosis in the process. I am so grateful to have finally found a doctor who was willing to help me after all this time! I recommend her to everyone!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Waterman and her staff! I had the best experience and the best care during our 9 months while expecting our first child. She truly cares about her patients, their spouses, and their children. We experienced a lot of scary and unforeseen things during my pregnancy which led me to have to be induced at 37 weeks. Dr Waterman was there every step of the way to explain in great detail what exactly was going on. She put our worried minds at ease. I would get pregnant all over again just to get to see Waterman and her staff regularly again. They became family! If you’re a worrier like myself and need a doctor who is going to give you all the facts but remain cool calm and collected even through the scary stuff, Waterman is just that! Dr. Waterman and her entire staff are fantastic! She answers all my questions thoroughly and she is extremely knowledgeable. She stays up to date with the current protocols and information regarding her field. They have always gotten me in for an appointment when I needed one even if it was last minute, they’ve always been accommodating. During the labor and delivery process she always took time to explain everything that was going on and why. I’m a 12 year RN and Dr. Waterman is one of the greats!! Extremely poor with professionalism! Spoke to me as if i was incompetent and not trying to educate me! Will be transferring doctor ASAP!

I’m changing ASAP she is trying to induce me for no medical reasoning before my due date. Practically tells me that me and my baby will die if I go a day over my due date. I think it’s because my due date is around Christmas and she doesn’t want me interfering with her plans. I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant and having to deal with this being a FTM. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Extremely poor service is unfortunately the standard for Women's Healthcare of Norman where Dr. Waterman practices. You would never have to work so hard to establish yourself as a new patient with Dr. Waterman. Telephone calls are not answered by a "live" person. Instead, calls are answered by a machine with a message requesting that patients use the web portal for a "quicker response". Phone calls are not returned for days. My daughter finally had to email one of the physicians to let her know 3 weeks had gone by since she had left messages requesting to schedule a new patient appointment before someone finally called her back. Make sure you read the patient reviews on Google, Yelp, and the other review sites before making a decision to use this practice for your OB or GYN care. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ever heard of HIPPA? Well Dr. Waterman certainly hasn’t. She FaceTimed her niece from my delivery room while stitching me up without my consent. Yes, she had the nurse hold the phone before I even knew what was happening. While under her care I never felt that she had reviewed my file before my appointments. She never seemed to have any idea who I was or what the next step of my care was. She never reviewed my specialist report which I believe put myself and my daughter at risk. I labored down for 90 minutes at the hospital, waiting for her, ready to push. That shouldn’t be a surprise though, since the wait times for the majority of my appointments were terrible. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to get through to get any information using the STUPID PORTAL!!! We can't get a call back!! We are not getting any help about a 2 cm hard cyst they found in our 15 yr old daughter!! Our daughter has been hurting for over a month and we are being passively ignored!! We will find a Dr. who will treat our daughter and NOT HAVE A PORTAL!!

I used Dr.Waterman previously years ago and thought she was good, because I didn't know any better. I didn't know that pushing induction that isn't medically necessary was wrong, yet she still does it. Requesting to not be induced and to allow baby to come on it's own will get you a response along the lines of "you're selfish", "you're going to kill your baby", none of that is necessary whatsoever. As long as a baby and the mother continue to be healthy then interventions are not needed. TERRIBLE bedside manner! I will never go back to her. I had her again recently and she upset me by telling me those things and then didn't care whatsoever. If only all the mommas knew there was so much better options out there. Birth can be enjoyable but taking the mothers options away from her will only make the experience a bad one. Also I called their office to have my IUD removed a little early(almost 5 years was up but I was done with it) and they wouldn't return my call. No one else would remove it since Waterman had placed it. After several attempts of getting it out and being ignored I had to make other arrangements. So unprofessional! When I got sick (emergency visit sick), Dr Waterman was able to get me in for surgery quickly. For the follow up visits I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time and then only spoke with the doctor for less than ten minutes. In addition, the billing department kept my copay from June of 2017 to April of 2018 even after the insurance had reimbursed them the copay that I had paid originally. Also when I had further issues, the nurse scheduled my appointment for when they knew Dr. Waterman was not going to be able to see me and only wanted to "up" the medicine dose that she put me on without even seeing me. I ended up going to another doctor for an evaluation and having to have another surgery performed by that different doctor in a different location. My recommendation is that although Dr. Waterman is a good doctor the business staff, the nurse's recommendation and the follow up appointments were a disappointment. She was really there for me during the most traumatic experience of my life. She spent time with me and never rushed our appointments. I love her dearly, and her staff as well. They are all very special.

She is holistic in her approach and is helpful in referring you to the right people. I trust her with my health 100% and feel like she actively helps me figure out what is going on and is accurate. She is kind and actively listens, spending a great amount of time with you. She knows her stuff! Great treatment and bedside manner. Only issue is with scheduling and extremely long wait times.
