I’d give 10 stars if I could! She was wonderful and treated my son so well, as did the staff. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Wonderful, caring , smart and made us feel more comfortable about our babies hernia. She even spelled it in our phones because it was such a long medical term, so we wouldnt have to try. Compassionate, dedicated to her work kind of doctor.

Horrible surgeon! Left bad scars on my sons face! Should be sued! Never use her!

Went to Dr. Smith after being referred to her concerning circulation issues. Waited 2+ hours in the waiting room before getting called back only to wait another hour. When she finally came in it was with an unwelcoming presence. Laughing about our wait and saying she needs to be at a 1'clock surgery, so she hopes this won't be too long. I understand importance of surgeries but my appointment was supposed to have taken place 3 hours earlier, so it was from the start stated basically she needed to be somewhere so my appointment was to be fast. And this is exactly how the appointment was. She never asked my story of being there, just symptoms and took that small small piece of info and compared it to other patients, saying it's not a big deal and if it's not causing me disturbance then forget it. This being after I told her I experienced pain. She disregarded our concerns and I felt I was being talked to as lesser than her, making me feel stupid for thinking there was anything wrong.

My grand daughter fighting for her life right now.. 3 months old. Went in to have a ostomy fixed to get ready to take of in a month or so and all of a sudden twisted her intestines. Now she has septic shock. A bad infection in her blood and its due to negligence. I pray she makes it but i pray nobody ever lets her operate on their child. She want be for long if i have a say in it..simple procedure gone horribly wrong. The child passed away this morning and all because she should have never had the surgey to reverse her ostomy until she was atleast 1 yr. Old. This is a terrible doctor that i don't see how she can show her face. Which i never seen her this morning when they called time of death. Please check out the doctors before you let them do even a simple procedure i beg of everyone to do that. I'm just beside myself and life will never be the same. She saved my sons life

My son had a very serious surgery and she literally gave me her cellphone number. She responds very promptly. She’s very smart alert and attentive to her patients.

I completely disagree with the other two reviews. She was personable, full of energy, explained in detail what was going to happen and followed up everyday thereafter. She saved my child’s life and quite frankly I appreciate her confidence in her work. Our fourth month old had a dermatoid cyst. Dr. Smith was nothing short of amazing. She explained it well and took time out to converse with our family. We felt special. We called her during her on call hours and she took even more time out for us. In a time where people are always saying racial things, I can truly say that she doesn’t care about race. She just wants to care about the patient. Thank you Dr. Smith!

We went to Dr. Smith for a procedure on our baby boy and were already really nervous about the procedure. From the minute she introduced herself, she came across arrogant and brushed our questions off like they were just silly because she performed this procedure every day for a living (she said this).After the procedure, very little care instructions were provided as one of us had to ask to see the area of the procedure just to know what we should be looking for once we got him home. The most offensive part of this whole experience was that Dr. Smith accused us of not feeding our child. She told us he looked like a "hungry baby" and even questioned how often we were feeding him and how. She then sent the nurse in with a recommended feeding schedule for ALL newborns. Well our baby boy is not a typical newborn. He is a growth restricted twin who has gained from 4lbs to 6.08lbs and has grown in length nearly three inches since birth just five weeks ago. We also spent time in the NICU at Vanderbilt where we were well educated on how often and how much he needed to be feed and still haven't varied from this very regimented schedule. Additionally, we were referred to her by our pediatrician who I am certain would not tell us he is doing great and let us go a month without being seen again if she wasn't confident we were capable of caring for our children. I would just think a well educated doctor would ask more questions to learn a little more history before accusing parents of starving their children. We were so offended that we will not be going back for his follow appointment and would never recommend anyone bring their child to her for any type of medical care. I wanted to add to this after being so upset and following up with our pediatrician that babies are supposed to gain an ounce a day and he has gained 36 oz in 34 days so again... I would expect a medical doctor who is good at their job to ask more questions or do more research before falsely accusing parents of not feeding their children. We took our son in for a procedure this morning and were looking to Dr.Smith to take the time to answer our questions. This, however, did not happen. Dr. Smith seemed annoyed by our questions and all but dismissed and minimized our concerns. After the procedure was completed, very little care instruction was provided.She then accused us of not feeding our child due to him being "skinny."This was highly offensive and ignorant considering he is a growth restricted twin and gaining above 1oz daily.

She performed a surgery on daughter neck, she told us the surgery was successful but a week later the symptoms returned and got worse so we took her back for a second surgery were she didnt even show up. Another doctor had to perform the surgery to reduce the swelling in her neck caused by a cyst. The nurse set us up with a check up a few days later after surgery with her office were she walked in and no exaggeration she walked in a ripped the bandage right off my baby starting crying in pain.

She was very rude with my daughter after surgery she misdiagnosed my daughter symptom and brushed it off like it was nothing and told us it would get better with time but her sitution got worst so we had to take her back to have surgery again and she didnt even want to see us so another dr had to perform the second surgery afterwards we took her to get a check up with her office and she walked up and ripped my daughter bandage off her wound with out evening​ caring she jus had surgery. She was the worst dr i have ever dealed with i dont recommend her for your kids.
