Completely unethical chicanery

Seeing her speak in public does not qualify you to write a review of the atrocity that is her medical care. I am a former patient. I have met multiple former patients. She is not a mental health specialist. Just ask the patient who wound up in the ER after this "doctor" prescribed psychiatric meds. But that doesn't stop her from pretending she is one and attempting to emotionally manipulate people. She also has her patients see her therapist which is a clear violation of professional standards.There are many excellent and caring integrative doctors out there. This criminal is not one of them. She makes patients sicker with inappropriate medication and emotional abuse, including telling them she's the only who can help them and they'll die without her. My wife and I have been patients of her's for over 8 years and in my opinion, Dr. Lisa Nagy provides cutting-edge medicine for patients that have been given no hope from conventional medicine. She is an internationally renowned lecturer and expert in her field and she has personally been responsible for saving my life and the life of my wife! We were both very sick and now we are much better. Several mainstream M.D.'s did nothing more than chronicle our demise and offered no solutions. Through testing and treatment, Dr. Lisa Nagy improved the quality of our lives in addition to extending what would have surely been a painful premature death. Something that is important to know is that people that are this sick can and usually are very angry, negative people, therefore I understand the angry "1-star" reviews. These people are in the grips of their illness and refusing the only kind of advice that has a chance to help them. Some or many of the treatments are not completely covered by insurance and the price of customized quality healthcare can add up. I ask myself this question, "When was the last time I had an Ivy League train M.D. sit down with me for 90 minutes and discuss my health, what's wrong and offer a treatment plan to correct it?" The answer is until Dr. Lisa Nagy never has any M.D. done that. Yes, there are lots of tests, but she needs data to make decisions. This is much different than a mainstream M.D. with their " Test nothing, diagnose nothing, save the insurance company money and oops sorry your 7 minutes are up! Most doctors are constrained by what the insurance company will pay and what the drug company produces, it's very cut and dried. If you don't fit the textbook description, they can't help you, and there's another patient waiting. They just prescribe something to hopefully cover up your symptom and move you on your way. Dr. Lisa Nagy is a passionate caring M.D and a person who is also uniquely qualified to help some of the sickest most desperate people on the planet. My wife and I will be forever grateful for her professional expertise and kindness. As a clinical psychologist and researcher, who has provided research and testimony to the FDA several times (leading to Black Box Warning Labels on certain psychiatric medications; leading to Class II categorization of ECT devices), who has provided research to the Australian government regarding psychiatric intervention (leading to safe guard laws regarding ECT), who was an invited guest speaker to the Congress, and later Senate of Mexico (speaking about psychiatric medication induced violence, again leading the keynote address with research leading to new legislation), who was a former Chief Psychologist of the Dept. of Corrections-KMCI here in Wisconsin, who was a former US Federal Social Security Mental Health Disability Evaluator, who was a former Clinical Director of an outpatient and doctoral training clinic for over ten years, I can attest to the fact that Dr. Nagy's practice is evidence based, upon the peer reviewed research. Dr. Nagy is one of THE most well respected doctors in the field of Integrative Medicine, and I have recommended patients seek her assistance several times. Dr. Lisa Nagy has a concerning approach to care. She will at first appear to be a champion of the left behind patient and if you are one of the luck ones you will leave with some tips and help. Unfortunately, the majority of her patients end up misdiagnosed, placed on inappropriate medications (if not in the emergency room), their condition and mental state toward their health significantly worsens and their purse is empty. The sick deserve dignified, respectful and appropriate treatment.

I came to see Dr Nagy after she had correctly diagnosed a close friend of mine that had fallen between the health-care cracks and was in real health difficulties. She had correctly diagnosed his illness and had him feeling better quickly. My PCP had dismissed my health concerns even though I knew something was wrong with me. Dr Nagy was thorough in her initial assessment and testing of me and came to a treatment regimen that rapidly resolved my health issues. Expensive? Yes. Effective? Yes.

Dr. Nagy is skilled, compassionate, and careful. After 20 years of living with environmental illness, spending just my first week in her care has brought improvements in my health which I didn’t realize were possible. Her confidence and ability to calmly support her patients is a gift that not many physicians have. She puts a great deal of time into patient education so that her medical treatment can also empower patients to make the lifestyle changes needed to improve and sustain health.

She is a greedy quack. She thinks everyone has the same illness: Addison's disease, which I'd an extremely rare sickness. She doesn't check for Lyme, parasites, Epstein Barr, and other illnesses. Get treatment is also very narrow: cortef, ivs, or sauna treatments. She claims to be philanthropic and altruistic but she charges astronomical, unjustifiable amounts of money for every move she makes. She pushes tons of vitamins on you before she even knows what's wrong. She said not be a doctor.

The doctor is extremely personable and very knowledgeable. Her attention to detail and taking my history was amazing. I found things out and linked together important factors that I didn't realize altered my medical health simply by talking with her . I give her my highest recommendation!

The doctor was very thorough, Had an uncanny insight into my problems. She was REALLY very up to date with her knowledge of latest therapies and treatments. She spent un-hurried time letting me explain my symptoms , and am SO happy with the results! The office staff is wonderful, the office is spotless (especially for sensitive patients) and even offers off-islander housing. I highly recommend her!!!

Pushes products to buy. Not focused or thoughtful about her treatment plan. Overwhelms you with information.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Lisa Nagy for nearly five years. She conducted a thorough and scientific investigation based on my symptoms and history. Yes it was expensive and much of it was not covered by my insurance. HOWEVER, I ultimately received a diagnosis and then the corresponding treatment that has changed my life. Great staff. Unethical Doctor. She pigeon holed me into her favorite diagnosis and I was actually very sick with something else which could have been my demise. If you actually fit her diagnosis then perhaps she can help. At first I was so impressed but her behavior became quite erratic with strange late night texts. And I finally landed in the hospital. I would give this one a wide berth!! Very disappointing and cost me a ton of money.
