Dr lisa Metler phd is NOT an actual doctor or physician she hold a PhD which means she’s a Doctor of Philosophy. Philosophy is an idea without any actual scientific data. Those of you who were forced to see this idea doctor need to remind your attorneys Lisa Metler is not a physician and Michigan law requires any and all ime’s are to be performed by a licensed by the state of Michigan physician. A PHD is not a MD or a DO Lisa Metler also has absolutely NO neurological background NONE! Just because she is interested in neuroscience does not make her a neuropsychologist LMAO!! Lisa Metler is a PHD day dreamer.

My husband was sent to Dr. Metler for an IME for work comp. We live in northern Michigan which caused my husband to stay the night and hire a driver to take him to this appointment since he can’t drive due to unable to drive. My husband was almost killed on an oil well explosion. He was flown to Hurley hospital Neuro, trauma, burn center where he spent 2 weeks and almost died. He spent 10 days on a ventilator. This Dr. Accused him of malingering which means faking. He is hard of hearing and he could not hear instructions. He has been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury and anxiety to name a few things. This man was a oil field supervisor for 12 years and ran a large trucking crew. Now he has short term memory loss, sequencing and executive decision making issues. I am a retired RN and this woman should be ashamed to call herself a Dr. She said his injuries don’t match his condition! Being on a ventilator for 10 days has damaged his brain forever!! This woman is hateful.

Lisa Metler gives IME's for auto insurance companies and sides with them so she will get repeat business to do her little evil IME reports. She puts money first before injured drivers. She is very unethical. She only spent about minutes with me and had some employee do all of the testing. My IME test was six hours long and Lisa Metler was only there for about an hour. Most of the testing was done with no Dr. in the office. Disgraceful and shameful

She was more concerned with things that had nothing to do with current situations. She didn’t even ask about everything I went through or had done she was more curious about almost 20 years ago. She didn’t even get a complete medical history. I would not recommend this office.

This is one of the worst "doctors" I have ever encountered. Went well beyond her knowledge of the human body and forcedly moved a limp and now a year later must endure pure misery, not just due to accident but do to her lack of knowledge.I begged her to stop and she refused. I have moved to a completely different practice and PT, best decision I have ever made. Be VERY careful of this "doctor" she is inept in everyway.

I did not have a very good experience with Ms Metler. She was not very professional. She went way outside her field of expertise and I always had to contact her to get any results. She never really did give me any test results,
