In 2019, I had a breast reduction (not by dr learn) that provided less than desirable results. My nipples were too high, the shape wasn’t quite right, and worst of all, I had developed keloid scars. I had seen a handful of doctors in my area and none of them were confident they could fix my past surgery. I stumbled upon Dr. Learn online and saw her amazing reviews and saw she had been praised for fixing botched surgeries. Dr. Learn was a 10 hour drive from me but the moment I did a virtual consultation with her, I was sold. She is patient, kind, and understanding. But what about her work? So, to start-even before the surgery, when I was in the hospital, 4 different nurses assured me I had the best surgeon in the area and that they had surgery done by her as well! I was also sent to a radiation clinic for my keloid scars, and everyone at the clinic couldn’t stop raving about Dr. Learn’s work. Not to my surprise, she proved everyone right! I am a month out from my surgery and my breasts look fantastic-they are day and night from what I came in with. The stitching was perfect and obviously very detailed compared to my last surgery. I had a consultation with several doctors and chose Dr. Learn for her kind and gentle nature and the great results of her patients. Other doctors i consulted seemed impersonal and very "in and out." However, Dr. Learn took time to answer every question I had, explained everything to me without the feeling of being rushed, and was very understanding and reassuring. She is very attentive to family members as well and provided updates regarding surgery and recovery. Dr. Lisa Learn and her entire team has been an absolute God send to my life. I suffer from a condition called hidradentitis Suppurtiva and For the last 10 years, I accepted my fate that my armpits would be a war zone for the rest of my life. Countless doctors all told me there’s no cure and unfortunately there’s no way to get rid of it. My dermatologist had another patient who highly recommended Dr. Learn for the removal of my HS. My hair follicles and sweat glands were removed and 2 skin grafts were placed atop the removed area. I am only 2 months post op and I’m telling you.. I’ve seen people with my condition have this surgery and their armpits don’t look this good several years out! The graft literally fit like a puzzle piece. It takes a highly skilled surgeon to do what she has done. Dr. Learn couldn’t be more compassionate and caring from the second I walked into her office. Teresa is an absolute angel. A review of social media memories over the weekend reminded me that its been awhile since having cosmetic surgery. Most men are afraid to share with others – especially strangers – that they have had “work” done. I am not one of them. I met Dr. Lisa Learn through a patient/friend who had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure. A fellow gastric bypass patient, my friend underwent an abdominoplasty – or tummy tuck – procedure. She looked great and I wanted to look great as well. In desire of ridding myself of extra skin following a 160-pound weight loss, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Learn at her Fort Lauderdale office. It was an initial consultation to determine whether my insurance company would consider such procedure medically necessary. Initial consultation went great. I met Dr. Learn and her assistant – Teresa – to discuss options. I provided medical records and photos were taken for submission to insurance. As a guy who has never “cared” for his “looks,” I took advantage of the consultation to discuss my face – specially around the eyes and jaw/cheek area. I was not happy with what I thought were droopy eyelids and sagging cheeks. Dr. Learn agreed, basically stating that the cheeks/jawline “issue” were the result of massive weight loss. As for the droopy eyelids, it was explained as part of the natural aging process. Long story short, I decided on several procedures to immediately improve my “look.” Blepharoplasty - surgery for my upper eyes; and “Profound” - a laser non-surgical procedure to tighten up my cheeks and jawline. Voluma XC and Bellafill would thereafter be considered as dermal fillers. All procedures would be performed in the office with local anesthetic. Surgery day came and went before I knew it. First the blepharoplasty, then the “Profound” laser treatment. With my eyes, I could see an immediate improvement. As for the cheeks/jawline, Dr. Learn had fully explained that an improvement would not be seen for several months. Over the next few months, I had a number of “follow-up” visits with Dr. Learn. During these visits, I received both Voluma XC and Bellafill – which I learned was a relatively new dermal treatment that not only stimulates collagen growth - but could last for five years. As for abdominoplasty, my insurance company denied benefits and I decided to “self-pay” for the procedure. Thereafter – and only hours before the scheduled procedure – I chickened out and cancelled surgery. I’m not sure if it was peer pressure not to have the procedure or the “possible” six-week healing process. My “look” has changed to the point that I cannot reuse old social media photos. I initially went to Dr learn after having a breast reduction and Botched surgery with another doctor. When I went to her I was in a state of depression and still very traumatized, when I consulted with her she seemed personable and caring. I was so desperate that I chose the first doctor i consulted with, which was Dr.Learn, I just wish I would have gone to other surgeon consultations before choosing her. Initially I thought the results were good, but then once my breasts healed I wasn't happy with her work, I have photos and videos, my left breast which was the one with the biggest damage, looks almost the same as it did before surgery, based on my experience I would NOT recommend her to fix botched surgery, I did go to another surgeon recently and he was so knowledgeable and explained to me everything in detail about how he would have done my surgery, he was very experienced with fixing botched surgeries, unfortunately I Need to save money to have the surgery redone by him. I researched Drs in my area before choosing Dr. Learn. She is Board Certified and that is great but, doesn’t even begin to address who she is as a doctor and a person. She is very knowledgeable, informative, realistic and truly cares about you and what you want to achieve from surgery. We discussed different options for me and she gave me a list of procedures from which I could select, like a la carte. That felt empowering! After I chose what I wanted and before the actual procedures, I had more questions. I called the office and they suggested I come back for another office consult! Who does that these days? I was referred to Dr. Learn by one of my colleagues. I am GRATEFUL I chose to move forward, allowing her to perform my breast augmentation. Dr. Learn has EXCEPTIONAL bedside manners. During my initial consultation she was extremely thorough — ensuring she paid attention to details and even asked my expectations of the surgery. I really can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Learn and the rest of her staff. I had consulted with another plastic surgeon with whom I was happy prior to obtaining a consult with Dr. Learn. After speaking with Dr. Learn, I felt much more comfortable with her “three-stage" approach to my neck, which unlike the first doctor’s approach, gave me the option of stopping at any one of the three stages if I was satisfied at that point. Another advantage to this was that if I opted to only go for stages one and/or two, I could avoid hospitalization altogether! I was conscious and extremely comfortable [during] the procedure and immediately after the procedure I had nearly zero pain. I could not be more pleased with the [immediate] results and two weeks later, I was and am fully satisfied with the ultimate results! Just had my second surgery with Dr.Learn. WHAT A WOMAN. She does not simply perform plastic surgery, she gave me my life back. At the hospital EVERYONE comments on her bedside manner. She is extremely caring and attentive. I asked if she could take a picture of me right after surgery before putting my undergarment on and she did it with no hesitation. Options for Plastic surgeons in South Florida-are limitless. I interviewed 3 doctors and immediately knew Dr. Learn was who I wanted to do the surgery. My surgery, was anything but easy. I had prior trauma from implant placement (different doctor in NYC). A hematoma occured after surgery and I was pitch black from collar bone down to hip. I went back to the same doctor because my implant didn't settle evenly after the surgery. Long story short all the trauma 15 years later created a hernia. This is where Dr. Learn shined. From my initial consult I waited maybe 10 minutes at best before seen by Dr. Learn. For plastic surgeons this is a record in my book. Her staff is friendly and professional. My surgery was complicated due to all the scar tissue and the 2 points of hernia in my one breast. Not only did the surgery go exceptionally well! My breasts look beautiful and even. Lisa is meticulous with exceptional bed side manner. This is who you want to do your surgery.

I have had a good amount of plastic surgeons over the past 45 years. Dr. Learn topped all of them. She is very comforting and easy to talk to. I wanted my 2nd set of breast implants replaced and a lift. I could explain in detail what I wanted and she did not rush me. She not only did exactly what I asked for, but clean incisions that healed so fast with hardly any lines. I have never met a doctor who is more caring than Dr. Learn is. I had breast implants put in 6 years ago, and the price was just too good to be true so I went ahead with the procedure not even knowing what I’m getting myself into. BIGGEST MISTAKE I ever made. 15 months after having them I started to have issues, I went back to the doctor who did my surgery, he came in the room for literally 2 minutes & told me I was going to have to have them fixed. I went ahead & dished out more money to have them fixed. About 2 years went by & again I found myself realizing something isn’t right so I went back to him & addressed the issue, he told me once again I was going to need surgery to fix them so I asked is this going to just keep happening he said no after this you will be good, so I went ahead & had them fixed. Time goes by & my left breast implant now looked like it was completely disappearing slowly. I went back to the doctor wanting some answers which he couldn’t give me because he does surgery so cheap he knows you’ll be back because you have no choice but to have them fixed. I asked for copies of all my reports & I was told all he ever did was go in & add more saline every time & never fixed the actual problem & come to find out that’s what he wrote on the paper work & he told me something totally different. I cried & cried wishing I never got them done & at this point I just wanted them completely removed. Until my mom told me to go see Dr. Lisa Learn. Well let me just say my whole outlook on the situation completely changed after seeing her. She listened to everything I had to say & all my concerns. Words can't describe the amount of gratitude I have for Dr. Learn and her staff. I was new to Florida and one of my breast implants ruptured. I suffer from fibromyalgia, so the thought of more pain from surgery, truly frightened me. Dr. Learn and her staff put me at ease. She not only explained the procedure, but quelled all my anxieties. Dr. Learn and her team are amazing. They are knowledgeable, experienced and have been very good at taking the time necessary to listen to my concerns and explain my options. Pricing for cosmetic procedures is reasonable and I have had great success with both botox and fillers. The office is very welcoming, my appointments have never felt rushed, and there is no pressure to pursue additional elective procedures.
