Dr. Kirk is never available for patients. She puts NP’s in with patients. The office is so disorganized and focuses on the spa branch of the practice that I would no longer recommend this practice for regular medical care. It’s almost impossible to get refills completed for prescriptions before you run out of your meds and have to go days with no medication. The portal system has never worked. The office rarely calls you back. You have to continue to call and Hope a person answers. They charge your insurance for things not really done. For example, they asked me 2 questions about depression and then billed for a 30 minute mental health screening. That had nothing to do with why I was in the office. They charge for covid screening when it’s simply a page with 10 questions about Covid exposure. I could go on. I’d recommend to find other medical treatment.

It’s very frustrating to interact with this office. Messages are not returned, portals are not technically set up so the messages are received (and they have been alerted to this many times by many patients), it is difficult to get appointments, questions are not answered well, etc. It seems like they do many unnecessary things and then bill insurance for it. They asked me 2 questions about depression and then billed for a 30 minute mental health screening, for example. ( I was not there regarding depression and have not ever seen them for that diagnosis). The professionals do spend time with you in the office, but later the things you talked about and agreed upon are not followed through. It’s very frustrating and I will be changing medical services as soon as I change my insurance. I had been a patient 10 years and have seen a decline in the medical service.

Here we are… Back to waiting on much needed prescriptions! This is my third request! I Cannot Sleep!! WHY Can’t You Fill These On Time??? What’s Your Deal??

I feel like they are trying to herd cattle at every appt. Staff could definitely use some common curtesy lessons. She will exhaust all insurance and then proceed to tell you to pay in cash. What a set up. Not sure how she is still open. You don't even see Dr. Lisa Kirk, EVER. But it sure is her clinic. Will never go back again.

I've been with Lisa Kirk's office for around 20 years. In the last 10, I've seen the office change into what seems like a money making scheme with unnecessary testing and overpriced products that they push on you. My most recent experience was when they dropped my anti-depressant medication without notice and getting an appointment with them was going to take two weeks. Seems unethical to drop someone from medicine that has terrible side effects if quit cold turkey. Very thorough. In depth elite physical. Gives the very best loving care. I recommend Dr. Kirk. I love the care she gives to me and I am a complicated patient. She has helped me.❣️

Went to her clinic for 10 yrs and never saw her after the first couple years. Runs excessive lab tests and pushes as many tests and visits as they can to get your insurance money. She always had the PAs do everything, and those changed more often the last couple years, and the quality of them seemed to be getting less competent. The last one gave me advice which did not sound like a good idea so I left, and my current doctor agreed.

You will only make the doctor wants and then be assigned to her staff for all subsequent appointments in your care. It speaks volumes that you aren’t cared for when you can’t even leave a message after hours and you are not feeling well. Please do not select this physician as she is absent from your care and treatment plan 100% percent

Enjoyed meeting the Dr. for less than 5 mins while I was there an hour and a half. Some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Waited over 2 weeks for a referral to a Podiatrist and had I not called to check on it on a Friday afternoon I would have missed the appt. for Monday am. Then I was called at 5 mins till 5 to be told by the office manager that I was not a patient there any longer. On top of that they just wanted to say the foot was bruised and this past week I ended up having a stent in each leg due too sever blockage to my legs and could have lost my foot. Has to be the worst office my mother has been a patient of, we saw Dr. Kirk for less than two minutes and was told we could only see the NP who was horrible and rude due to our beliefs. Shanel was rude and when I questioned why my wait time was 1.5 hours for my mother who was diabetic she said “well we have other patients too” well we were early and still waited 1.5 after our appointment. She didn’t eat because she had to get labs as well, and when I called to speak to a supervisor she said “oh I am new and that was probably due to the horrible manager we had before” this place is horrible. My mother has to have labs done almost every visit, we are definitely looking for somewhere new for her. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Their office constantly makes scheduling errors, never apologizes or tries to accommodate the patient for the mistakes made by the NP and staff. There seems to be a consensus. Dr. Kirk’s office is making money hand over fist by providing HRT and other cosmetic services not found in Waco. There is nothing wrong with that unless you treat people like cash cows and not patients. I opted to drive to Ft. Worth instead of dealing with their scammy office. I imagine I will need to follow up several times to guarantee my medical records are forwarded to my new doctor. The entire Brazos Integrative Medicine Team is PHENOMENAL. Mrs. Wilkinson literally is by far the most amazing Nurse Practitioner that I have had the privilege of seeing. Their entire team is through and attentive. Every need is met and held to a high standard. They have made some big changes lately, I I have loved every second of my experience with them. The worst experience at a doctor's ever. Dr. Kirk's office ordered some lab work for me that they said was going to cost me $120 out of pocket. Then, I received a bill from the lab for $550 for the same work. Then began six months of contacting Dr. Kirk's office, getting their promises that they would talk to the lab. Finally, months later, I received a debt collection notice. Dr Kirk's office had never resolved the issue with their lab. When I called Dr. Kirk's office to discuss it with the office manager, she said she didn't have time to talk with me and was reachable via email. After 6 months of going back and forth with her office—politely, I might add—that was an unbelievable brush-off.

I feel myself an unwanted person in her office. My waiting time is way too long. RN nurses always change. Under 2 years only once l saw the dr for 2 minutes.

I have been going to Dr. Kirk's office for 8 months. I've seen her in person once. When I've tried to make appointments with her, I've arrived at the office and been seen by the nurse. I've contacted this office multiple times to arrange for appointments and they've never responded--I've actually had to hound them to schedule appts. It's really shocking. I've never encountered such a disorganized office in my life and certainly don't feel as if my case is being taken seriously.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kirks for 20 years, but not any longer! She use to be a wonderful doctor, but as the years have passed that has changed. If you want to be seen by her, you have to request her! Also, it now seems as if it’s all about your insurance and how much they can milk it. At first when they suggested I have a physical I was like yeah that sound great, but I don’t think I would have to come back 4-5 times for blood work nor should the physical have to be 2 separate appointments that end up taking 2-3 hours each time. Another issue I have with them is being blackmailed. Example: I called to have a prescription refilled which I was told that they would not refill without another physical which I did. I called 6-9 months later for another refill and was told that they would not refill any of my precautions unless I had a “well women’s health check”. I told them I currently see an OBGYN for that and she had me on 2 year check. At this point I was told that “they” want me to be on a yearly and if I didn’t have the check with them they would not refill my any of my prescriptions. I did as they asked, had the check and was put on some meds. A few months later I started having issues so they gave me a prescription. This continued for months. Finally one day I called them to inform them I was yet again having the same issues, at this point I was told I needed to make an appointment with my OBGYN which infuriated me. To me it seemed like they wanted a override my OBGYN’s set schedule for me to become my primary care provider for everything and when they couldn’t figure out the issues I was having (which I wasn’t having until they put me on some meds) they didn’t want to deal with me anymore. I when to my OBGYN and of course it was the meds THEY put me on. She switched my meds and I have not had anymore issues. You’d think this would be the moment I’d had enough, but no. I recently called my pharmacy for a different prescription refill. Dr Kirks office never filled it nor did I hear anything so I called the office. They called me back a little while later to tell me they filled the meds for 30 day supply and that they would not refill anymore unless I came back in for another check up. I had a physically in February of this year so there is reason for me to have another check up! I’m done. It’s all about money and milking your insurance for every dime they can. To be treated with a modicum of dignity and respect, is not a lot to ask. Dr. Kirk is wonderful but, her staff leaves so much to be desired. They are rude, unprofessional and treat patients as though they are beneath them. I would most definitely not recommend this practice to anyone. They do not care about the patients, or timely service and if you complain about waiting for your prescription for example, they will make you wait even longer. So, the one thing I dislike about this office is you hardly ever see Dr. Kirk. You always see an NP. I went in last week for a follow up from all the labs they ran. I had concerns about my thyroid which a test came back high, but I got no medication to help and instead was told it's no big deal. Yes, it is, that's why I'm here! Then the NP I had wasn't sure on certain questions and had to run out to another NP for answers. I told her I also had been struggling with a sore throat for the past month with no relief and zyrtec and Claritin haven't been working. She looks and sees there is indeed drainage and says just take a zyrtec! Was she not listening?! Now a week later, I still have a sore throat and now it's gone into my chest. I'll end up having to pay for another office visit because they didn't listen and deal with all this the first time! When I go to the doctor, I want to see an actual doctor! I love the way Dr. Kirk thinks. She performs an executive physical. She is very proactive In keeping people healthy!! She is excellent with hormonal therapy. She offers so many things in her office. I have never felt better!!

I have confidence in Dr. Kirk and her staff. They are very thorough and have provided good care and follow up with me. I've noticed positive changes in the front office. The atmosphere and people working there are courteous and helpful.

Dr Kirk is excellent! I drive in from an hour away to see her. Her staff are quick, friendly and professional, and her clinic is well maintained and clean. Definitely recommend!

I read some reviews that were nothing like the 3 times I've been to this office. Every single person, whether it be office staff, lab and testing, PAs, and doctor has been very kind, empathetic, and really listened. My appointments have been timely. They made appropriate referrals quickly. I have nothing but the best things to say about everyone. I would never recommend this clinic. I did a physical and never saw the doctor. 2 hours to receive an astomincal bill. The lab is not professional, I had to do my labs over due to not drawing them properly. When I came back into have them redraw my labs there was another patient in there for the same thing. These ladies must be inexperienced. All this place is all about taking your money. They sell over expensive supplements and the MA are rude and short. They need to do back ground checka

I only shook the doctor's hand and was never examined by her. I only had contact with all her technicians. Whoever prescribed my hormones and thyroid meds could not get them right. I am still receiving bills from obscure hospitals into the thousands. They are just interested how deep my insurance pockets are. Beware!!

Dr. Kirk and her staff are awesome. Some of the most comprehensive work I have ever encountered. I love being a patient at her office!

I have mixed thoughts on this office. On the one hand, they really work with you on things like expanded thyroid tests, checking vitamin levels & hormone treatments. On the other hand there are things that annoy me so much. Like waiting 45 minutes to have blood drawn when you're the first appointment of the afternoon (were they still at lunch? One can only wonder). No extended hours for working folks. The fact that you can rarely see the doc...only the NP. But I stay with her for the positives

The worst staff experience myself and kids ever had. We have lived all over the US and have a vast experience with doctor's and staff and this is the only Doctor we have ever left for another doctor due to front office staff that are blatantly condescending, patronizing and proud of it.

Sadly, I do believe this office has a primary goal of getting as much money out of you as they can. I had serious concerns about my thyroid and they had me come back multiple times and suggested their "heart wise" workup for me. Just more money for them. Then I started to have GI issues and one of the MAs actually laughed at me when I explained what was happening. A Nurse Practitioner was feeling my stomach and told me that she thought she felt a tumor - so while I'm about to burst into tears she then tells me that it was actually my last rib....... The staff told me to buy specific probiotics that were only sold at their office that were over $50. Of course this did not work. I had serious health concerns and did not have enough money to figure out what was wrong. I felt that this office just wanted to take advantage of me. She is just out for your money. Tells you to take vitamins that are only sold at their office for $$$. If you are late at all they charge you and then make you reschedule(to charge you again) but make you wait at least 30 minutes before being called back (to wait even longer to see someone). Tell you to get a health exam it's free but doesn't tell you they are going to charge you an arm and leg to get the results. I have been to this doctors office every month since April, I have been waiting on 2 referrals since April. I need to see a specialist to have a, surgery. The Dr. Office keeps blaming my insurance saying they won't approve anything. My insurance says the Dr. Office hasn't provided the info they have requested. No one in that dr. Office knows what they are doing AT ALL! Then I was told I needed vitamins I could only purchase from their office! And of course the price was outrageous! Found the same vitamins in HEB for 6$ !! I had called the office yesterday to ask who is over the office manager Ann and the lady said no one!! Then turns around and says Dr. Kirk. Dr Kirk is an amazing doctor who is very knowledgeable about bio identical hormone replacement therapy. She has been instrumental in helping me reverse osteopenia and increase my bone mass. Her staff is very helpful and competent and know me as a person and not just a number. I have been a patient of Dr. Kirk's for 7 years.

Very nice, clean office. Friendly staff. Sometimes a long wait but what doctor doesn't. Dr Kirk and her NPs have always been great and and very thorough. Love that she has her own practice and isn't a part of S&W, Providence, etc. A lot more medical freedom is associated when it comes to that aspect. I love the professionalism presented at Dr. Lisa Kirk's office. The level of PREVENTATIVE care she provides is unmatched and she doesn't want to fill our kids with harmful toxins (AKA vaccines) like all of the other bought and paid for doctors in Waco. I've been searching for a doctor who wants to treat the problem instead of masking the symptoms with medicine and I finally found her!

Whether trying to shill vitamins or offering skin care you never feel like the patient comes first in this practice. Getting prescriptions filled is an embarrassing ordeal. Wait times are long and you usually end up seeing one of the nurse practicioners.
