I really miss Dr Jefferson. She listened to me and I felt like she cared. I would follow her if I could find out where she is. She was awesome!

Dr. Jefferson, I really miss you! There will never be another doctor like you. Why did you retire? You are young! I need recommendations for another great doctor

Dr. Lisa Jefferson has been my physician for approximately 2yrs. I shared my dismay with her in the past regarding the fact that I’ve requested her to call me on 2 separate occasions after an office visit. Her response to both instances was that she wasn’t aware of my request. Never mind the fact that I made my request 1st to the receptionist that answered the phone , who then transferred me to her nurse. My most recent experience that occurred on June 18th 2020 assured me without a doubt that patient care is the least of her interest!!! I called the office on three separate occasions on the 18th. No one answered the phone although the prompts lead me to believe that they would. The final prompt prompted me to leave a detailed msg. I DID SO! Know one returned my call. Tues. 6/23 a nurse from my Ins. provider attempted to reach anyone who would acknowledge her call. She too was unsuccessful after following the prompts while I listened on the line. Well after being treated in the ER on 6/19, I received a call from JEFFERSON’S office today( seven days after my initial call to her office). I was asked,”how was your Er visit”? If patient care is what you’re seeking I DO NOT recommend Lisa Jefferson. Deserve Better!!! Dr. Lisa Jefferson has been my physician for approximately 2yrs. She was very attentive to your needs

I love her. I recently received a notice that she is not at Bayview Chesapeake anymore. MMMM, where is she?? I would follow her. lol

How she became my PCP. When she first came to providence Sentara they asked me if I’d like to see her she had openings and she was new. So, I did and they had her as my PC. Typical Providence Sentara failed to notify me she was leaving. Was at Bayview for my kids to see their Dr who I’ve followed in his moves and seen Dr Jefferson’s carD at check out. Was excited I found her. They went back asked if I could become her patient again and the reply they came back with was “ sorry she said she isn’t accepting any new patients”. How she became my PCP. This doctor's office came highly recommended by a current patient. The first time I contacted the office I was placed on hold immediately for a little over 7 minutes. The second time I called I was placed on hold immediately once more. The third time it was busy. The fourth and final time I was placed on hold immediately. Needless to say, I will not be making an appointment with this office because I can't even simply get through to do so. I could only imagine if I were a patient of this practice. I've been going to Dr. Jefferson for years. She is professional and caring, definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

She is the best doctor in town. She listens and cares about her patients. Really hard to find a great doctor like her. I followed her from the va beach practice because shes so great.

Dr. Jefferson has been my PCP for quite a while now, in fact I followed her to Chesapeake from her practice in Virginia Beach years ago. The complete professional. Patient, engaging, compassionate, always has my best interest in mind. I never feel rushed during office visits and have always received timely responses to telephone inquiries. Highly recommend. Excellent doctor. She spends time with patients. I been seeing her around ten years. Kind and easy to talk to.

Dr. Jefferson is The best doctor hands down. I followed her from another Virginia Beach office because she's amazing! She is very caring and takes her time with me. I would recommend her to anyone

Hands down, Dr. Jefferson is an awesome doctor. She is caring, compassionate, engaging and listens. She spends as much time with me as is needed and never rushes through an exam. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Jefferson is fantastic. She listens to what you say, respects your preferences, and gives complete information about options and what her recommendations are. She remembers details from past visits, which is how I personally know she is listening. She is not quick to push medications, but rather gives holistic options for you to consider. I highly recommend!
