I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They were able to solve a psoriasis problem I had for many years. Previously I had been to other facilities and got no relief so I kept trying. Dr Hitchins was able to figure out the issue and prescribe a treatment plan. Their staff worked with my insurance to get everything setup and covered. The facility itself is amazing as well.

Didnt get to see Doctor because my insurance was not in network. I called about 3-4 months ago to wait for this appointment. I gave them my insurance information. If your going to come here bug them to make sure your insurance is covered, because if you need help ASAP and wait and come in and drive far this wont be worth it.

First time at this dermatologist. I felt better about my situation after seeing the PA and Dr. I’ll be going back for more treatments. But be aware that there will be a bit of a wait!

My first time ever at a dermatologist and they were great! I had to get some shots and I hate needles. They made me feel comfortable and I forgot all about the shots!!! I recommend this office five stars plus ⭐️ thank you Jill and Chelsea Barr, PA-C ❤️❤️❤️

Dr Hitchens herself is a great Dr. the problem is she is NEVER on time. We have been patients for years and just dealt with it. I’ve started bringing my kids there and as you can imagine when you show up 15-30 mins early for your appointment and she is over 30 mins behind kids don’t last. Today was the last straw. I showed up with my daughter for a 1:30 appointment at 1pm. at 1:57 we were still waiting and 3 people who walked in after us had been taken back already. When I asked the front desk what happened I was informed “their appointments were before ours and it’s not first come first served.” It didn’t matter if they were late. Their appointments were before ours and since she was behind they got helped first. Moral of the story don’t listen when they ask you to show up 15 mins early. Show up 5 mins max early and be prepared to wait over 30 mins past your appointment time. I hate it’s this way, bc again Dr Hitchens is a wonderful Dr, but for the years we’ve been patients she has proven she will never been in time and when you have multiple schedules to juggle trying to get appointments with her just doesn’t work. I left the office near tears and with no real solutions to my skin problems. The waiting room is full of advertising for aesthetic products, so unrealistic beauty standards are shoved into your face from the moment you arrive. It's extremely insensitive especially to people who already have skin issues. I told the doctor about my skin problems and even though it only occurs about once a year, she suggested a very intense, constant daily treatment. It even included taking birth control pills because the medication can mess up a pregnancy so much! Before I even had the chance to tell her that I can't take birth control (and was honestly not interested in such an intense treatment), she had left me alone in the room with the poor PA who had to hear me cry about how this treatment won't work for me. As a new patient my visit was not a good experience. They enforce a 25.00 no show fee but when you have an appointment a d you arrive 10 minutes early and 40 minutes later your still waiting; not professional and every time I brought it too their attention I was told I’m next. I don’t recommend this practice.

Dr. Hitchins and staff are warm and treat patients with care and respect. My entire family of 5 see Dr Hitchins. We've been treated for everything from skin cancer to severe teenage acne. I have been a very happy patient for 12 years.

Had to wait one and half hour before being called. All patients who came after me were let in one after the other. And rude lady at check out. Not going back.

I always have to wait for over 40minutes to see doctor, and I was late for the first time and they told me they have to re scheduled my appointment for being late!! Is not like they would take care of me when I get there!! So, we have to be on time but they can make you wait for long time!! Never coming back!

Been going here for years and l love Dr. Hitchins. Don't even mind the wait. Very good doctor and has always taken care of my needs. Staff however. nope. Several issues here over the last year. First I emailed through thier web and asked for a prescription during the first of this covid mess. Just a cream for my arms that she gives me all the time. No response. I also had to cancel an appointment through thier texting program at sometime so when I tried to make another appointment later first thing I was told was I had to pay $25.00 before they would schedule for a no show. Not going to pay this because I did cancel with notice. through thier program. Now looking for another doctor. I really liked Dr. Hitchins and hope she reads these. Update. I was surprised and impressed when I received a call about my review. They really wanted to make things right and I'm really glad they did. Very good experience for several issues with Dr. Hitchins. Very thankful for her expertise and friendliness. My husband and I both go to her and highly recommend her.

Dr. Hitchins has been our doctor for over ten years. You could not ask for a more compassionate and thorough doctor. We followed her from Houston to Cypress. She is that good!

The most organized medical office I have ever seen. Not just the operations but also the facility layout. Check in from your car via a text and when they are ready, you get a text to come in. Dr. Hitchins is very efficient in her exam, but also takes the time to explain what she finds and answer any questions you may have.

Dr. Hitchins treated me for several problems during the pandemic. She did a very good job of treating me, while figuring out how to maintain good safety protocols.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Hitchins and then you see an assistant. Also, long wait time. Staff very rude, not planning on returning.

I was quoted med spa pricing for laser hair removal maintenance after spending thousands of dollars for laser treatment with Dermatology Center of Northwest Houston. When I called to scheduled a maintenance appointment I was told they would not honer the price I was quoted at the time of treatment. Only come here if you have time to waste. Firstly, I was on the waiting list for 3 months and secondly, when I arrived I waited for 40 minutes and then called it quits because I had somewhere to be. Ridiculous. If you really cared about people’s time you would inform them that it will be a long wait so you can plan to spend a long time here. Doctor was very nice but be prepared to wait. As others have already noted, the wait times are out of hand. I waited 40 minutes, and after finally telling the person behind the counter I would not wait more than 5 more minutes they took me back and saw me. I mentioned it to the Dr. but she said that her goal is to get you out within one hour of your appointment time. So they want you to give them an hour for a 10 minute appointment. I’ve been to Dr. Hitchins a few times for myself and my husband and son both see her as well. Sometimes the wait is a tad longer than I like but the staff make up for it by being so nice. Dr. Hitchins is a true professional and always so pleasant and informative and the staff are always pleasant and helpful as well. One thing that they could change is my husband had an appointment that he couldn’t keep and I wanted to take his appointment for myself and they said their computers couldn’t accommodate that request so I had to wait a month to be seen. First visit and it was a pleasure. Front desk ladies were friendly and had a great sense of humor. Ten to fifteen minute wait, Dr. Hitchins came in, took care of business and is a fantastic lady. Zero complaints, and I highly recommend.

Very challenging to schedule an appointment timely. You wait for at least 45 min after your appt time to be seen and you will be seen by PA less than 1 minute. They send your RX to the pharmacy of their selection no matter what you tell them. If you have to be seen every month (like for Accutane) you better schedule all of your monthly appointments far in advance (8 weeks in advance) or their calendar will be full. They have no problem letting patients go without medication while waiting for an appointment. I have been seeing Dr Hutchins for several years. She is thorough and professional while having a great bedside manner.

Very rushed appointment with an arrogant and socially inappropriate MD. There was wholly unprofessional flirting from Dr. Hitchins, condescending behavior when questions were asked, and worst of all she took a biopsy without properly explaining the need to do so, or expressly having my consent. To make matters worse, she did a complete hack job on my arm. No closure and left a 2 cm gap in my arm covered with a bandaid. Left a nasty scar that a proper dermatologist had to close later. Awful.

Do not waste your time or money.

Yet another patient that's sick and tired of showing up early for an appointment only to have to wait 30-60 minutes to been seen AFTER the appointment date. Avoid this place if you value your time.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Every cream that dr hitchens has prescribed to me was overpriced and never solved the problem, in my opinion. It appeared to me that her staff was impolite. The wait has been at least 40 minutes to an hour after the time of my appointment.

I couldn't schedule an appointment, staff was terrible at taking the call. Woman kept asking the same questions over and over until I realized if this is the attention they have for new patients, I can't imagine how I'll get ignored once I'm a captive patient.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. It's been 1 month since our appt and it's been nothing but issues. The appt alone I felt rushed and brushed off. Multiple creams were prescribed because of the outrageous costs of one after the other. For some reason I was contacted by 3 different pharmacies. To this day I am still getting calls and prescriptions in the mail for stuff I don't know what it is, so I have no idea what they did. I have had so many calls back and forth with nurses and I get nowhere. I'm told to work with the pharmacies if I don't need the prescriptions. I can rarely reach a person and it's not right that they leave me to deal with THEIR pharmacies for something they prescribed. I will never be back and wish I could be done with them. The receptionist put me on hold for 10 minutes to tell me that for me to be able to make an appointment I need it to have a referral and that I can not make an appointment with out it , asked her if they did accept my son's insurance and she assured me THEY did . I visited the clinic to address two separate purposes. I am very disappointed in the depth and quality of feedback I received regarding my skin allergies. I followed the feedback and purchased the creams, soaps, and medicine Dr. Hitchins specified regarding the skin allergies and showed the blood work report from my primary care physician. My skin condition has exacerbated. In communicating with my primary care physician, her feedback was different than Dr. Hitchins. I have communicated with a third doctor who suggests I now see an immunologist. Her feedback was different from Dr. Hitchins as well. She wanted to know the rationale for Dr. Hitchins' feedback and indicated very grave concern for my health. I regret I followed Dr. Hitchins' suggestions. I brought pictures to show my allergic reactions and she told me she did not need to see those. Perhaps viewing the photos would have better helped her understand and treat my condition. The third MD immediately knew something was amiss through viewing the photos. My primary care doctorr viewed the photos. I'd also like to know the results of all the lab work I paid for at the time as well. I regret I did not read the reviews prior to visiting her office. She was listed in the Blue Cross Blue Shield network. We are all human and make mistakes, however I am very hurt, frustrated, and disappointed that now my condition has worsened yet I listened to and respected this doctor. My visit with Dr Hitchins was nice, the office staff and new facility was extremely clean and comfortable. My visit was for a red itchy bothersome rash on my face that I had had for over a month, and had gone to my General Physician whom recommended I see Hitchins . even-though Dr. Hitcnin's did take the time to talk with me, She is a very pleasant person. She prescribe a antibiotic for the rash.... and ordered blood test, Her hypnosis was, it could be Lumps. This was a scary potential disease. My test came back negative to my relief. No known immunity problems of any kind. I had a few 'tags' removed and off I went... follow up was over the phone. The prescription cream did not work! I ended up going back to my general Physician again this time and a different PA, She knew right away it looked and sounded like Eczema, because she, the PA had had it herself and prescribed a cream that worked for her. My lengthy 3 almost 4 months with Eczema on my face was not only unconformable and frustrating but embracing. I feel Dr. Hitchin's, Board Certified Dermatologist should have known right away what it was, Her diagnoses / suggestion of a teenagers acne was somewhat of a disappointment.
