Dr. Lisa Joy Hansard

I am extremely disappointed with the financial communication and transparency from this office. While my wife and I already had genetic test results in hand, we were told we could not proceed until we went through ANOTHER round of genetic testing through their partnered lab, Invitae (and a genetic counselor that does not take insurance, but that is another story.) While our first round of testing cost under $300, this recommendation to Invitae was $3000/per person, with no indication from TFC of the extreme cost. The tests were delayed and revealed nothing new over what we already knew, and even after insurance contribution, we are out $2900 total. Until this clinic stops partnering with Invitae and is more transparent about the billing practices of their partners, I cannot recommend them.

Awesome doctor. She was friendly , listens to patients. Had a good experience. Definitely recommend her.

Hands down the best care and best experience! I can not say enough about Dr. Hansard and her group here at Texas Fertility. We had gone to another place which was awful, had very long wait times, and the doctor treated us like a number. He also wanted to talk us into IVF right away. Well, Dr. Hansard was different. She was kind, patient, she listened to us, and she worked with us on less-invasive routes. We got pregnant after only two tries with her! Dr. Hansard and her team has provided excellence service. Dr. Hansard was always on time and never had a long waiting time for the appointments. The team was always on top of everything and available for any questions via phone call or email. Dr. Hansard is also very caring and has great bed side manners. I remember during my surgery, I was so nervous and Dr. Hansard could tell. She quickly held my hand and chatted with me until I went under. I really appreciated that! Dr. Hansard is amazing! I came to her after having a bad experience at another practice, and she was everything I was looking for in a doctor. I couldn’t recommend her more. It was a wonderful experience! I now have two healthy babies through IVF.

My husband and I are very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Hansard. We were beginning to lose hope of having a second child after several years of trying. After meeting with her for the first time, we felt very comfortable with her recommendations. We are extremely happy to share our experience working with Dr. Lisa Hansard and the entire TFC medical staff. We had lost all our hope of having our second child, after trying for a very long time. But, then we met Dr. Hansard. She understood our problem and explained in detail about the treatment and procedure. She is an experienced surgeon and specialist in this field. We are very grateful and happy because of Dr. Hansard, we are now going to become parents of our second baby. Also wants to thank Nurses Jennifer, Lisa and also other staff for providing best care and instructions on medications, scheduling appointments. We would highly recommend Dr. Hansard and TFC.

I was recommended to Dr. Hansard from two other friends that were having unexplained infertility issues and then successfully conceived through IUI. During our first initial visit with her, I knew I had made the right decision and she immediately made me feel at ease with her bedside manner and knowledge. We ended up conceiving naturally through her help with ovulation tracking at first but then had a miscarriage. We then tried two rounds of IUI and on our 2nd round we were successful. This is one of the most stressful things a couple can go through and I know she fully understands that. I must say my favorite was her support staff and how tentative they were to me as a patient. Whether I was calling in to make an appointment or ask a number of questions, they were always there. Even when I had my miscarriage, I will never forgot how supportive Nurse Jamie was with me and how she gave me hope and comfort on one of the worst days. Thank you Dr. Hansard and team! We are so happy we worked with Dr. Hansard. We went through 4 rounds of IUI and finally got pregnant on the 4th. Every time it did not work, Dr. Hansard took the time to answer all of my questions and walk us through the next steps. Even when I was super anxious or worked up that it had not worked yet, she always made me feel better. Her bedside manner is incredible and appointments with her are fun! My wife and i worked with Dr. Hansard to get pregnant with our first child. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Hansard and the other doctors and nurses at Texas Fertility! The office has a positive and fun energy and everyone we encountered was incredible. Even when we were nervous or worried, Dr. Hansard and the nurses took the time to walk us through options, help us understand what might be going on, and provide us with solutions. Sometimes you just need some reassurance during this process and Dr. Hansard is wonderful at that! I would highly recommend her and Texas Fertility! We will absolutely be using her when it is time for baby #2!

Words can not express what I feel for this woman...She is a godsend. I had to have 2 major surgeries so I was scared sh**less. (Excuse my French). She really reassured me that everything was going to be fine and that I was being left in capable hands. She was absolutely right. 6 months after my surgery I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy. I will be sending her a huge bouquet of flowers and a thank you card.

she a great Dr I had ever . she was my 2nd Dr , i changed my first one because i was not happy by him. i am glad i did. She took time , listening and document every thing what i said . First she treat my problem before rush me to any medical treatment . Then after i treated my problem with in 6 month with God help i conceive only by taking progesterone on the first round . It was unbelievable for me . what can i say she is the best ...best dr.

Dr. Lisa Hansard and TFC are excellent. Since coming to TFC and being under Dr. Hansard's care, I have experienced excellent customer service, nursing follow-up and Dr. Hansard is an excellent surgeon and overall specialist. I was properly diagnosed by her, received the appropriate treatment, I felt respected and supported, and now I am 12 weeks pregnant and will definitely come back to Dr. Hansard for #2!

My husband and I loved Dr. Hansard! Dr. Hansard was always on time, patient, and clear about the plan she had for us. We were so appreciative that she valued our time, didn't keep us waiting, and always treated us as family. I don't think we ever waited more than 15 minutes for any appointment. We felt immediately at ease in her care and are so thankful to have found her. She is skilled as a surgeon and as a bedside practitioner. I could not recommend her more highly.

She has a great bedside manner and is very kind and personable.

Dr. Hansard was patient, kind, and understanding during this challenging time. She was thorough and strategic in her plan and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Dr. Hansard has given me the best care I have ever had. She really thinks through your issues, is never even a second late, and her staff keep you up to date every step of the way. Graduating from Texas Fertility was a sad day, I wish I could've stayed with them, and Dr. Hansard in particular, for my entire pregnancy

I immediately had a great feeling about Dr. Hansard the first time I met her. I was with her for a year and a half while she treated me for infertility. She performed the first surgery I've ever had and I was terrified! She took the time to ease my mind and held my hand in the surgical sweet until I fell asleep. Every visit began with a big hug and a small bit of chit chat. I'm happy to say that with her help, we are expecting a daughter this summer. Dr. H is the best!

We were planning for a baby for more than 2 years and lost hopes that I would get pregnant before my first visit with Dr.Lisa. She did an ultrasound and she figured out the reason behind my infertility within very few minutes of my first visit. She suggested me for a surgery (endometrial polyp) and gave us 3 months time to get pregnant without any IVF etc. Dr.Lisa Hansard and her team were simple and down to earth, they took care of me very well. And YES , I got pregnant in the 2 month.

Dr.Hansard has been the greatest Doctor I ever had. She has compassion for her patients and she always look for a positive outcome without being unrealistic. Her staff is great and always available to help and answer any questions.

Dr. Hansard thoroughly reviewed my past experiences and really came up with a good plan to help me get pregnant as soon as possible. I had actually started taking Clomid with my OB and it turned out that I got pregnant with that. Dr. Hansard followed up and made sure that everything was progressing well (especially given that I had had multiple miscarriages in the past). I never felt as though I was just a simple case not worth of Dr. Hansard's care. I liked having the dedicated nurse at TFC.

Dr. Hansard is one of those people for whom my husband and I will thank God for the remainder of our lives. She is not only an incredibly talented, brilliant doctor and surgeon, she is also kind, warm, and reassuring in situations that lack certainty. Dr. Hansard and her staff are reachable (SO rare!!), professional, and most importantly, beyond competent. I have them to thank for a quick surgical recovery after a miscarriage, and a successful pregnancy eight weeks later. She is the best.
