Look no further! A great dentist is hard to find and Dr. Guinan is the BEST! I have been going to her since I was a teenager and I am in my 30’s now. She is THE ONLY person I can trust with my teeth! I go for my yearly cleaning and also for all my fillings. Highly recommend. The office staff and hygienists are great too. :)

Dr Guinan is a godsend. I've had an unfortunate history of dentists who didn't understand the damage that can happen to someone's teeth after enduring decades of chronic pain, or what to do once the dominos started to fall. Dr Guinan does understand with surprising compassion. And she possesses all the advanced dentistry skills to treat a complicated situation. Once we got started, I just knew I was in the right place and most capable hands. And though I knew it was going to be a long road with her, I had so much hope and confidence. That said, my experience with her administrator Yolanda, whom you must speak with for everything even though others also answer the phones, was the polar opposite. In 5 short months, I found her so impossible to deal with, that I felt forced to find another dentist. Her communication skills with me were sorely lacking to nonexistent. Perfect examples: 1) she told me I was coming to see Dr Guinan for a root canal, but when I arrived, Dr Guinan informed me she was actually extracting some roots. (Thank God I'd made a pot of soup the day before.) 2) When I tried to get a bill each month for 4 months to pay as I go, my requests were ignored ~ in person, by phone, email, text, until in month 4, I just sent a check in the amount I thought I might owe. Boom ~ I received a bill within days. 3) When I called at 2:10 (more than an hour after their lunch break ends), she didn't answer the phone, but what I did get was a text saying "We're at lunch. We'll call you back", which of course didn't happen. 4) When I would text that I'm waiting in the car (because that's covid protocol before you enter the office), my texts would go unanswered. Once I sat in my car waiting for my appointment for more than 20 minutes before I called. One of the others told me, "we've been waiting for you". I was right outside!! As I was leaving, I wanted to know if my text sent while I was waiting in my car had gone through thinking there was a technical issue, only to learn my text had landed. It was just ignored. What do you do? When you know you found the right practitioner but you cannot get through to the office to get the very basic needs accomplished at the get go, and you know it's going to be a long road, I had no choice but to find someone else.. If this is how it is at the start, it was only going to get worse. Dr Guinan is truly amazing, and I felt so much hope that she could help me. It's a real shame that her administrator either couldn't or wouldn't communicate with me. I feel I'm floundering now because of her actions and Dr Guinan certainly lost pretty a good chunk of change over this. Thanks for nothing Yolanda. Dr Guinan is a godsend. I had to have emergency dental surgery and was referred to Dr Lisa Guinan by a friend and was so happy with my experience. They are all so friendly and professional in the office. I’ve had a few traumatizing dental experiences and this visit was wonderful. Would highly recommend seeing these ladies. You’re in good hands.

Dr. Lisa is a phenomenal dentist and her staff is awesome. Like most people, I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist, but Dr. Lisa makes the experience as painless as possible. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa if you’re looking for a dentist on the west side of Los Angeles!

Me and my husband just had our cleaning done today, after almost a year of searching for a good dentist. And I can say that my search ends here with Dr. Lisa. She's great, I didn't leave her place feeling like I've been robbed (upselling me with everything and finding unnecessary problems so they can fix and bill me and the insurance). The staff is were attentive and approachable, they seem to be happy to be working, not your ordinary stoned-face office staff who won't even look at you when talking, good energy and vibes. Special shout out to the hygienist too, Jenica. I have to make sure she's there on our next visit. Also, you'll know the dentist is good when you call for an appointment and their next available time is 2 months from now. Dr. Guinan is a wonderful dentist! My husband and I both are treated by her. She is gentle, honest, and I feel confident recommending her to any friends and family. You are in good hands at this office!

I consider Lisa and her entire team a true and immense gift. I LOVE going to have anything from cleanings to fillings done. They are wholeheartedly attentive, kind, professionals and immensely talented. I head in with absolute trust and always leave feeling better than when I came. My teeth are grateful for the gracious and wondrous care that they are treated with. I had avoided having an impacted wisdom tooth extracted for about 7 years but had full faith that the oral surgeon that Lisa recommended would be amazing, because she is so stellar. I finally gathered the courage to have it extracted and am so happy that I did. I will be without a doubt, a lifelong, devoted patient of Lisa's. She is talented, kind, and an incredibly wonderful human being. No matter where in the world I find myself, I always come back to Lisa. I consider Lisa and her entire team a true and immense gift.
