Dr. Lisa Forgione

My first comment is to any prospective patients who may have other co-morbid conditions, medical or mental health, that also require specialized medical treatment. Be sure that you are comfortable coordinating your treatment for your other conditions that also require specialized care. Many medications used to treat other disorders may cause you to be at higher risk when being treated with certain medications commonly used for chronic pain management. While CDC guidelines have become very stringent, the guidelines of Dr. Forgione's practice are not one in the same, although they were presented to me as such. I found some of her recommendations at odds with other medical professionals in terms of what represented the most up to date research and best treatment options. Longer acting medications and medications used to treat a variety of medical conditions may carry with them a set of risks and side effects that are not present or not to the same degree in shorter acting medications.

Met with her 3 times. I live with chronic pain, have for years. After my other Dr. became unavailable she became my dr. She was cold, and abrasive. I have never felt so disgusted than I did leaving her office. She tried to force me to have a surgery i DIDNT need, and told me if I refused she would say I was uncompliant and refuse to treat me. My last appointment I left in tears because of how she handled my care. The poor PA that worked that day was a Saint and unfortunately had to deal with my meltdown. Save your time, money, dignity, and go anywhere else. Im not sure why she works in pain when her opinion is we are all pill seeking addicts. Find a new specialty and some compassion.

Bad attitude and uncaring. She told me I was there for pills only before she knew anything about it. Ordered unnessary test that I already had done 6 months prior. She said because it wasn't done in house she couldn't go by other medical doctors MRI or essays. Also I was allgeric to epidural and pain blockers shots and still scheduled me to have the procedures done after I told her I was allgeric to it and it's on my medical records. I heard her and another person talking and laughing about one of her paitents. She made her judgement without even asking or talking to me. I meet with her 3 times and she sheduled me 3 months apart a piece. She sent me home every time doing nothing for the chronic pain I've been living with for the past 6 years. She is a total waste of time! I wouldn't recommend her to a dying sick rat! I truly hope what goes around comes around!

Dr forgione is not a caring and understanding dr i will never visit her again
